Hey there girlies !

Guess I was last to post yesterday and first to get here after the update this AM?

Thought I'd get us started while I'm sure Wendy, at least, is having withdrawals from posting ? ? ? :p

Ended up with just a 15 min walk yesterday but was 100 cal burn - needed more though - will make up for it tonight with a long workout of a mixture of weights and cardio.

Hey Gals!

I tried to check in earlier but there was something weird going on with the computer:mad: It was still doing weird stuff when i would click on the forum page...would hop to something totally different.

I have my run over with for the day. We did about 12.5 kms. I was hoping to come back and do disc 25 cause I didn't do it yesterday:confused: but the sun is shining and its hard to go into the basement when its like this. Not to mention that it is lunch time now. I should just get in the shower.

Hiya Chickadees!

Glad to see we're back up and running. The server was still down when I tried earlier :(

I never got in a real workout yesterday, though somehow I still managed to log over 12k steps so it wasn't a completely inactive day. This morning I went out for a five mile run before work and it felt great. Just got back from my lunchtime walk, and my GWF tells me I've passed 15k steps so far :D It's gonna be a good day!

OK girls .. I know I am ditzy sometimes .. and super busy .. but I KNOW I posted yesterday .. but I looked and it is not there ????:mad: gggrrrrrr ... sorry girls .. my post is in cyber space somewehre I reckon!! :mad:

anyways .. I did Plyo class TUE .. and was uber sore .. ystday I got my hair done .. got low lites to get some of the blonde bimbo out of my hair .. so no w/o .. but I am STILL sore from TUE plyo class .. today's lunch was errands .. tonight is 4 step plyo, UB, LB, core torture .. will be more sore tmrw!!!

Wendy .... do let us know when you get INSANITY .. I am gonna hold out for REV-abs .. due out shortly .. and still waiting on STS shock cardio ... (patting foot impatiently)

OK .. I have PMS cramps, headache, and bloat .. and ILL .. OMG .. I have already lost it several times today .. :eek: .. maybe tonight's w/o will help!!! This weekend we are going to the boat races on the lake here .. it is also SIL B-day we are gonna be celebrating ... MONDAY UGH on to the JURY duty .. and yes I could not believe they picked me seeing as how I know the guy and his family .. UGH .. maybe I will just be an alternate .. (fingers crossed) .. or even BETTER .. maybe they will settle before it goes to trial (pleaaaase .. on knees praying that they settle) ...

better run .. have a great one girlies!!! I will try to check back later w/you girls to see what is going on and where everyone is!! :D
 
I giggled this AM when I came to log on and it said "Cathe worked too hard . . ." If I remember right my screen said something about updating?

Figured it would throw all you early birds off - think I skipped back in right after they went back up.

Lori - well great job getting your run in - being the sunshine lover I am - no way no how would you get me in the basement with the sun shining after the rain you've had. On the weekend, even though I could workout in the AM, I wait until the sun is nearly gone and I've enjoyed what I can first ! ;) Hope you fit your #25 in today, but if not, oh well . . .

Jen - WOW ! no workout and 12K+ steps. You go girl ! ! ! That is what I hit when I've done an hour run ! ! ! :rolleyes: And today your got in a run and a walk - do you have a TM in front of your computer or something? I am thinking that would be the PERFECT answer for me - one of those TM/computer combos. May ask my boss for that in my review . . . NOT ! Well I will take on your step count as a competition today and see how I can get - thanks for the inspiration. ;)

Laura - you did post yesterday on pg. 1 #9. You are not going crazy, just got too much going on right now. Sorry to hear the PMS issues along with the rest of it is still lingering. Hopefully you can get rid of some of it soon and get back to feeling a bit more normal. Getting in some good workouts though even if you took a day off for the hair thing . . . boosting your self image is a great workout in my book ! It makes you feel good just like a workout ! :p Thanks for the anniv wishes ! Won't be taking DGS as I thought I might so DH asked if I wanted to do something. I said yes and then asked if it was up to me to plan - told him it is his turn. We will see how it goes . . . he has exactly 1 1/2 days before the weekend and I won't be holding my breath. He is determined to go to his Toy Show to check on Hot Wheels so probably won't be back home until early afternoon if that. :rolleyes: Hoping he doesn't plan on spending $ on a hotel for a few hours since we wouldn't get anywhere until Sat nite. :confused:

Wendy - miss you this AM ! Did ya have to work?

Diana - have you gotten some good sleep in yet?

Good Afternoon Girls!

Gonna hafta forgo personals for the moment. Need to jump in the shower shortly but I just wanted to pop in and say hi! I couldn't post this morning before work b/c as you all know, the forums were down and I had to leave b4 they came back up.

When I got home I did BL Cardio Max segments 1 & 2 and then attempted the final TLT which was "Endurance for Movement" or something like that. Well the warm up AND the first segment frustrated me to no end so I gave up and moved on to something else. See Jen? You aren't the only one!!! I ended up doing the first two segments of BL Power Sculpt instead. Not sure what I will do tmrw now....Time will tell. No biggie. Planning to re-start SS this weekend though! :D

Okay, off I go for now but I plan to come back with personals a bit later on!

Hi ladies,

I did make it to the yoga class yesterday at lunch. It is basically a beginners class which was fine with me and I felt so good afterwards!

So much for feeling good..Jerod called from the school at 2:40, the time he should've been calling me from home. Apparently someone was firing shots in the neighborhood and the school was on "lock down". He was finally released at 4pm after they arrested the 17yr old weapon yielding idiot. He called a couple of times during the lock down and said everything was fine but they weren't releasing the walking students. Bus Students and kids with parents picking them up were allowed to leave first.

This morning I did PUB and took my walk this afternoon. Yesterday, no workout or walk only gave me..I think 4500 steps. I'm with Jacque-if I don't walk or do cardio my steps are really low.

Jacque-Hope DH comes up with something quick...that's not Hot Wheels related! I'm only at 8k so far and it's already 2:30. I have bootcamp tonight so that should give a lot of steps. I didn't go to bed until after 11 last night but am feeling much better today.

Lori-Enjoy the nice weather while you can. Soon enough it will be winter and you will be stuck on the treadmill in your basement. You can fit in the weight work another time..Later today or tomorrow.

Laura-you posted yesterday silly. Sorry PMS is in full force...I was a big fan of midol...lots of it. Next time I have my hair done I'm getting low lites too. I'm really looking forward to it. I haven't ordered Insanity yet, hoping DH will order it for my bday.

Jen-what's your secret...how do get over 12K steps without a workout???? I'm at my desk for probably 6-7 hours every day. I've decided to use the upstairs bathroom at work just to get in a few more steps.

Wendy-I missed the forums being down this morning! I'm trying really hard to get up earlier and get my workout started. I spend too much time on the forums when I post and peruse first. Forgot to mention..nice avatar.

Jacque: I don't even know when the forums came back online this morning. I was out the door before 7:30 today. ICK.

Laura: Don't know much about Rev Abs but I'm hopin' that I don't want it! LOL Feel better girl!

Speaking of bees...my head is a-buzzin' with rotation ideas all of the sudden! LOL I want to do the X but I think I will combine it with either Insanity or perhaps some of Jillian's work outs. I change my mind like once every second, I swear! That ADD is back in full force!!! LOL I did have control of it for a while though. ;) I am also thinking of going for a quick 2 week switch up before beginning the X so I may continue to do SS until Insanity comes in and then switch it up real quick until I start the X. Hmmmm....What's a girl to do!? :D
 
Jacque: Oh man, wouldn't it be cool to have a treadmill/desk combo!! The way I get my steps is in to do the little things like Diana mentioned, go to the bathroom further away, park further away, do the laundry when I don't want to :p, walk at lunch every day. Yesterday I had to grocery shop after work, then when I got home I took a walk with DSO, came back and made dinner, blah, blah, blah. It all adds up by the end of the day.

Diana: OMG, I can't believe what you're dealing with at Jerod's school :eek::eek::eek: Truly, that's my biggest fear! Hugs and prayers out to you and Jerod. Not the way anyone wants to start the school year!\

Wendy: Don't keep all these ideas to yourself girl! I have NO imagination so I'm just a sponge ready to suck up all yours :p You've already given me some great ones, so I'm ready, pen in hand, to jot down the rest ;)

Laura: LOL, I thought what Jacque said, you're not going crazy!! You did post yesterday :D Must be the PMS monster getting to your brain ;)

Lori: Great run!! What happened with disc 25? Do you run two days in a row without too much muscle fatigue? I'm thinking about going out again tomorrow morning, but I always suffer a little the second day. Got any tips to combat that?

K, I'm beat and hoping to hit the sack very soon. Will catch y'all in the a.m.

Bringing up the rear here since the sun goes down last in my neck of the woods . . .

Did GSLegs except a couple of the band exercises at the end - one of my feet was cramping and I had to pull out the heating pad and wrap it to get it to lay flat again ! :confused: But once that happened I was afraid to do the floor work so did Low Intensity step from 4DS. By the end of that I was drippy sweaty and plenty tired (had planned on doing Double Cardio). Tomorrow is IMax 2 and if I am feeling OK I'll add Muscle Max since I think we may be heading out on Sat AM and I most likely won't get a workout in one of the weekend days to make up for yesterday. We'll see.

Got to go get blood drawn and have a rash on my chest so will hit the Urgent Care in the AM - brilliant thought came to mind - walk to get the medical stuff taken care of - probably about 10 min each way <pats self on back> :rolleyes:

Wendy - nice job getting your workout in even if it turned out to be BL instead of TLT. It was a good combo you did anyhow. I'll also be waiting to hear what you decide on doing after you have slept on it and started all over again in the AM ! :eek: I have to say I was very very surprised when you pumped out the last couple of rotations pretty much as is this summer. See, you can do it - just sometimes it becomes almost as boring following a plan. I'm kinda that way now, seem to be sticking with it for 2 - 3 weeks and then change my mind. I do like to have something written to follow though so I don't have to think about it on a daily basis. It takes to long when I contemplate ! :rolleyes:

Diana - good to hear you felt great after yoga - it seems like it would not be worthwhile, but if you get doing enough poses and stretching it does take unused muscles to hold it and stay there. I am having tightness, neck & shoulder issues so have to modify quite a bit these days. I do enjoy lots of the poses though. Wowie how scary for you. I remember my kids having the same problem but it turned out to be only a threat and my BIL is on the SWAT team in town so I called him on his cell to see what was happening. He said all was OK so I felt better. You must have been sooo worried. Glad it turned out alright. Wish the media didn't play these things up so much to give kids ideas . . . :mad:

Nice workout today and your steps are up there ! Woo Hoo ! Well DH played around on the computer looking for hotels and I'm sure it will be up to me now that he made no decision. :rolleyes: Good to hear you got some decent sleep last night - will be crossing my finger you have two nights in a row to feel tip top !

Jen - I have seen them either on the news or in health wellness related email at work. I really really wish I had one. Perhaps I can rig up a shelf on mine to hold a laptop. Course I don't have a laptop . . .:p but I know how to shop . . . :eek: I dislike shopping and would rather get home to workout but ITA it adds up when you are shopping first at Walmart and then Costco - yeppers, might as well pick the LARGE stores and walk the perimeter while you are there . . . ;) Hopefully today will be near 10K which is my goal. I did forget to put the GWF back on when I downloaded at lunch - wanted to get a full day in again to see if it matched up to last week. Oh well - no work tomorrow so will try to keep moving. Lookout - you just may have some competition tomorrow ! :p
