Good Morning Ladies,

I figure it's safe to post since most of you are probably still sleeping. My shoulders are so sore this morning. Not sure if its from the elliptical or the 5# weight I used for 6pk abs. Instead of starting STS with CST, I think Back and Biceps or Legs would be better.

DH and I stayed in with the girls, not too much excitement here. DS1 made it home safely last night and DS2 spent the night at a friends as did DS3.

The overnight low last night was -9, but today we should warm up to 24. So bitter cold.

Hope you all had a great NYE and I'm looking forward to hearing all about it.
 
Hey Girls,

Lazy day for us:confused: I didn't drink a whole lot but I didn't go to bed until 4 either....and up at 9:30! I didn't realize it was so late when DS was waking me up but I wasn't ready to get up.

I have called most of my clients today just to see when they wanted to start back. Most people are starting tomorrow and the girl that hurt her back is still out for the count. I told her to just keep me posted.

I am going to start a workout soon but I don't know which one to do. I did MM UB and 3 miles on the TM yesterday. My UB is sore from that workout too! LOL

Diana** Its nice to have a quiet evening. There are more parties on the go tonight but this gal won't be going to any of them!

Happy New Year's Ladies !

Y'day was not busy but I wasn't around much - work appointment for a little bit, then went and upgraded to an iPhone (now I need to figure out how to use it since I've never even had text messaging - time to catch up on technology, huh? :p) and then talked DH into going down to walk around Monterey (beach town about 45 min away) and then go to an early dinner at a famous seafood restaurant, Phil's Fish Market (has been on Bobby Flay's Throwdown and Road Tasted by Paula Deen's boys). After that we came home and started watching HPotter (last one, not the recent one) but I fell asleep until 10:30. Woke up and we stayed up watching the 'ball' drop and hit the hay.

Lazy day today for me too - will attempt starting STS today . . . using my last rotation's wts. also since I don't want to spend the time redoing them.

Wendy - hope all went well y'day with your drive and making it to your first CAB by 5 PM ! ;) Nice job with CCC - I am so lazy but could use the daily ab routines too ! Somehow my motivation needs to kick it up a notch !

Lori - woo hoo no work for you ! ! ! Great that all your clients are working out the times for your schedule. Good job on keeping the wt in check ! You have been keeping up pretty well with your workouts - I need to get there ! ! !

Diana - sounds like it is going well with the girls . . . Are they doing OK staying in for so long? Guess they are used to the rain though. :p Nice job on your workout y'day - I thought the 6/6 was a great workout for the time also. Haven't been tracking my cal/HR lately - might be a good idea. In fact, may be a good time to break out the bugg . . . I stopped my membership but have the digital to track it.

Laura - haven't seen a NY email yet but will hunt for it. Hope all is well with you and last night turned out OK with DH's work schedule.

Gonna run for now - rainy ugly day so would be good to be productive since I played y'day, huh?
 
Hi Ladies,

I ended up doing disc 3-Legs today and Athletic Step. AS was not my best effort but did as much as I could. I did use an 8" step but I just wasn't into it. I should do abs but don't feel like. I did increase my weights from the last STS go 'round. We'll have to see if the upper body works that way too!

After I shower I'll be picking up my kiddo and heading to Kohl's to pay my bill. I have a gift card that can be used to make a payment, but unfortunately I can't use it to pay online. They want to charge me to make a phone payment--UGH.

The girls want to play outside but it is too cold. They want to go to the slide and swings.:) Later this week I'm going to take them to a book store for Story time.

I downloaded the STS rotation to my calendar but now can't figure out how to add the weights I used today to the rotation. I know they made some changes, but this should be straight forward. Hopefully I'll figure it out soon.

Lori-wow, you were up late...or early.:p You better start scheduling your clients on a calendar or your phone, since it sounds like your side business is about to blossom.

Jacque-congrats on Iphone. DS1 had one for 2 years and switched to the Droid. Also, they swapped out our Blackberry's at work about 2 or so years ago, and now they are going to the Droid also. I still have BB and hope to get a Droid soon, but will have to switch the family plan from ATT to Verizon. Were they able to transfer all you data from your old phone to your Iphone? Don't forget to back it up too.

Laura-So how did you end up spending your evening?

Hey Girls,

I organized some things in my w/o area, such as my workout logs and STS logs. I have my w/o logs all the way back to 2004 through 2010. I put my monthly w/o logs in one binder and the STS w/o logs in another.

Jacque-just to test your text, I texted them to you.:D Did you receive them?

hhhmmm....thought I already posted this. Guess its been sitting here since before dinner!
 
Hello, "Damage Control" gals. Are you open to having someone else join your check-in? I've been part of other check-in groups in the past, but when my last group faded, I haven't rejoined in a while. I've let a few pounds creep on that I'm working to lose, and I need some accountability and encouragement in the process! :)
