Good Morning Peeps.

Okay, I am incredibly sore right now. Everything hurts. I could feel it when I was laying in bed. Not sure if how I slept had anything to do with it though. I guess I'll find out if I'm still sore as the day wears on. I hope I don't feel like this later though! I have Tear It Up on tap and I'll never make it through! :eek:

Diana:: Yeah, the Insanity preview work out was pretty intense! I liked it but I honestly don't think I could do that every day for 60 days. I think I would burn out way too fast. That being said, I don't know if I will purchase the program or not. A part of me wants to just to have cardio options that are that intense but is it worth it??? Things that make ya go HMMMM. :p The crazy part is that I went to my mom's for dinner last night. She NEVER cooks healthy. I practiced decent portion control but I always weigh more the morning after eating at her place (or anywhere out for that matter) and ya know what? I am 1.2# lighter then I was y'day. No, not real weight ofcourse but is it coincidence or is that work out? People on here have said the weight loss has been pretty immediate with this program....Tempting, isn't it? ;) So you have decided to sell CLX? I can definitely see your liking Insanity more so I guess it makes sense. Oh and I was the one who asked about your DS and getting a job in Oregon. Well I hope he finds something soon so that he can stay out there with his girls. *fingers crossed!*

Jen:: So you are going to jump into SS with me when I start week 4? :) Insanity is insane judging by the preview disc so if you like that kinda stuff then you need to buy the program. I don't think I could do the rotation "as directed" but as I mentioned to Diana, it's still tempting to buy it anyway just to have the different options...Nope, never got my lazy arse to the outlets. Didn't feel like taking the drive. Never even got to the LOCAL stores either! :rolleyes: Yes, very glad DH is back to work since it's obviously gonna take me some time to find a job. Aside from the scams, I haven't heard squat back from the jobs I applied for last week. :(

Jacque:: So did you get the GWF goin' yet!?!? Can't wait to hear what you think! Yeah, that $100 was my last paycheck...for two weeks worth of work! See why I need a new job!? :rolleyes: Okay, I am in a quandry now....only $20 or $30 more to save and I can buy a certain work out program (OR) save the $150 and buy the GWF. Decisions decisions. I swear my addiction to all things fitness is KILLING me! LOL :p

Working this morning and then I am thinking a trip to the foodstore is an order....The sneakers will have to wait for now but I'll get there....

Im super sore too Wen! And i also woke up feeling that way. I expected it after my first workout in months. I guess i have to do another one today so that should be interesting. I havent even previewed the new cardio stuff yet. Im sure watching it would give me a stroke:) What kind of job are you hunting for?

Wendy: Sorry to hear you haven't heard anything on the jobs yet, but it's still early. You're doing the right thing by keeping your eyes open and shooting off an application when you see something you like. It'll happen. We are just in some tough times right now :(

Jacque: I was with ya last night! Six very hard miles in some very steamy weather. It took me an hour! My town has so many gd hills that I thought I was going to drop dead on some of them. But I made it and the scale rewarded me today, yay! So how's it going with your new toy?

Diana: Soooo...? How do you like it? Did you get the display, too? My b-day is the 13th, and it's funny, but my ex-anniversary was in September, too! The 9th. I think we're living in parallel universes here!

So as I said, last night was a six mile run, and then this morning I did PLB standing work (because I hate floor work). Headin' out shortly for a walk, but will bbl after lunch~

Hi ladies,

As I mentioned last night...no w/o for me today.:mad: Will pick back up with the rotation tomorrow.

I charged the GWF last night and put it on this morning. I did get the display and am wearing it today. I'm not sure if I will continue to wear the display or not, time will tell. I did the whole setup piece on the computer, including the 3 day food journal. I use fitday and have all my foods set up there and I didn't find the GWF food journal very helpful. For example, it didn't have fat free cottage cheese, almond milk, lo carb tortillas and also the units weren't quite right. I put in spinach (raw) but cup size wasn't an option, it had unit. So does each spinch leaf count as a unit??? Found a few quirky things like that but am sure I'll figure them out as soon as I start using the site.

Wendy-although I do like chalene, CLX isn't my preferred workout style. I still do the cardio's every now and then. If I sell CLX then I can better afford Insanity or RevAbs. It's kind of an expensive program to have collecting dust. Did you pre-order Cathe's Shock Cardio? I did and that's part of the reason I'm holding off on Insanity. Forgot to mention that I was suckered into a phishing scam on the web. Ended up having my CC info stolen but the CC company noticed right away and cancelled my CC.

Jen-you mentioned previously that you use a separate food journaling program. Is there a way to add your consumed calories to the GWF site? Also, can you add your own foods to their site. I didn't see it if there was one.

Jes-I haven't "seen" you around lately. Of course I mainly only post here and don't have much time to peruse the site. Did you order the whole Insanity program? I'm very interested in it but it will have to wait. I shouldn't have...but just purchased the GWF and am giving that a try.

Jacque-did you get your GWF all charged up and are you wearing it today? Mine is showing, even with my short sleeved shirt it is visible. Only a couple people mentioned it and I think I'm going to use Jen's response, it's just a fancy pedometer. Easier to not have to explain it!

Laura & Lori-Morning ladies. What are you up to today???

Just got back from a 2.5 mile walk. I cut it short today because it is HOT and I was really starting to sweat! Didn't want to come back to work too gross :p

Diana: I haven't spent too much time on the nutrition aspect of the website. I found it rather frustrating, too, and scrapped the use of that pretty quickly. I keep telling myself to go back and figure it all out when I have some extra time, and you know how that works :rolleyes: Too little time in the day. I have read that there is a way to enter a sum total of calories consumed in a day but I haven't succeeded in that yet. I gave it an attempt several weeks ago and then flaked on it when I didn't figure it out right away. I don't think you can add your own foods either :confused: That's why I stuck with My Food Diary. So much friendlier and already set up for me.
 
Well Ladies,

I got through it! Tear It Up is done! I had serious doubts about it considering how incredibly sore I am from Insanity! I even took 2 ibuprofen and a cat nap before starting thinking I'd feel better when I woke up. No dice. I was still quite sore but some how after about 10 minutes of working out, nothing hurt as much as it had. Love how that happens! Even my upper thighs are starting to feel much better! I think the lighter ankle weights solved the problem! :D

Gotta jet to take a quick shower and start dinner but I'll be back afterwards to catch up on the personals!

Well started "playing" with GWF but no dice this AM as I wanted my 3 FREE months and couldn't figure it out. Called Amazon and made the customer service call Body Media to get the Promotion Code that did NOT come with my GWF. Will play in just a bit as I have a Dr appt and then will be heading home earlier than usual. :p

Wendy - good to hear you loosened up after beginning your workout. I haven't been extremely sore for a couple months with the lighter/endurance weight workouts I have been doing. But there was mention of GS last night and I just may do that next week. It's been a while. On the fence about Insanity, huh? :rolleyes: We shall see. Weight loss is quite an enabler you know ! ;)

Jes - I used to read over on the Cheetah thread never having enough time to keep up with the huge group that was over there - were you there a while ago? Saw your "return" to the Cathe boards on the OD last night - what was your old moniker? Hope you are enjoying your DOMS as much as the rest of us "sickies". :eek:

Jen - Well it would never take me less than an hour to run 6 miles, especially if there were hills - great job with the weather and road conditions you had ! GWF will be later.

Diana - did you have any trouble getting your 3 months FREE on the website? I didn't find the place to enter the promotional code? Sounds like you have played with it quite a bit so between you and Jen, this techno challenged girl will be asking loads of questions ! :p I'm sure with your new toy it will be a joy to stay on a schedule just to watch the numbers - especially with your recent losses ! I'll probably just use FitDay for tracking cals if GWF is such a pain. I'm so familiar with it and have all my regular meals there already. Are you going lots of FF for your nutrition plan? Or just the cottage cheese? Boogers on the scam ! :mad: Thank goodness for your CC company. I always thank mine when they call if they see something out of the ordinary - even though it has always been me ! ;)

OK - time to clean up and hit the Dr. appt.

Back to report workout done - The Gauntlet, first 5 "rounds" (Imax2, Bootcamp weights (2 exer.) + Bootcamp cardio). Killer - haven't done that one before.

GWF is primed and ready to go. Did I read on the forums something about turning it a bit when sleeping? Can't find it in the manuals?

Hoping to find a short sleeved shirt with long enough sleeves to cover it for tomorrow . . . :rolleyes:

I had a busy day today. I plan on looking over the GWF site more tonight...now that I actually have time to read it.

Jen-that would be great if we can just put the daily calories on the GWF site. I will see if I can figure that out and let you know...

Jacque-the promotion code came on a separate card in the GWF unit box. It has a Quick Start Card, and Promotion Code card. I had to sign up for the number of months I wanted (towards the bottom of the screen) and then on the next screen with the dollar amt (had to put in a CC number also), there was a spot for the promo code. It wasn't easy to find and you have to read the screens or you will miss it. I like Fat free cottage cheese so that's what I buy. Some FF foods aren't as good as their regular fat counterparts, but cottage cheese is fine. I actually sprinkle mine with cinnamon. The NC doesn't really tell me what to eat, moreso the types of foods to eat- vegetable, fruit, protein etc. Obviously she encourages healthy fats like avocados, olive oil etc.

Wendy-You are really making me want Insanity! Glad to hear that you are feeling better after your workout.

So much for extra time...it's been at least an hour of eating dinner, cleaning the kitchen and doing laundry....
