Jacque:: So what time did you eat dinner last night?? Yes, the planning is good but I just don't know if the job hunt is really worth it all things considered...I'll be really mad if I go through all of this to get a job and end up having to quit due to child care costs anyway! Sorry about the not so hot TM run. Seems like it was contagious yesterday. Blame Jen. She started it!!!

Jen:: Only 2 weeks from tmrw, girl!!!!

Off to Great Adventure today! Thought about doing a TJ Cardio before leaving but I quickly thought better of it!

Good Morning Girls!!

It has to be a quick post this morning as I'm in meetings all day long and won't be in front of a computer today (at least not one connected to the internet!) Just wanted to say hi and tell you that last night I managed to get in a 4.8 mile run after work. It was a really good run, so hopefully I've undone my jinx?!? (Sorry Jacque and Wendy!)

I've read yesterday's thread and will be back tonight to catch up on personals (except to say quickly to Wendy: Ahhhhh, I'm so excited!! I can't wait!!)

Well got a little done last night and wasn't hungry, but sauteed the scallops anyway and ate them, yummy ! A bit later had the muchies so had a handful of pretzels. Scale is down another lb.? I haven't really changed my diet or my exercise - WTH? I swear it is only cuz I ordered GWF ! Oh well, crossing fingers it continues for a bit at least ! Perhaps another 5 lbs or so.

Wendy - is there anyway to check on child care costs now? No one will know if you say you are just shopping around anyway. In the long run though it may not hurt to go through this and see what happens. You never know what life will bring and sometimes things happen unexpectedly anyway. If nothing else, you can work for a bit and then if you end up staying home you have had the opportunity to save some extra $ for your larger house, which will come in handy with another child ! Have fun at Great Adventure (which I am assuming is an amusement type of a park?). I think you'll get plenty of steps in if I am correct ! LOL about coughing in the meetings !

Jen - sorry about missing out on chatting here with us today. Ugh for meetings - but I'll be pretty busy at work too ! May be shopping at lunch so checkins may be slim pickins for me also. Thanks for the great run last night. I can't wait to take a run tomorrow - I'm sure it will be a good one now !

Hello ladies ..

been SWAMPED .. I logged on ystdy several times managed to get a couple words typed then I would have to go .. aahhhh .. sorry ladies!! Today is insane busy too .. ugh .. but at least it is FRIDAY ...woohooooo .. got a ton of stuff to do this weekend .. hopefully my baby girl is finally starting to come out of her heat .. YIKES .. it has been a madhouse around our house!

Ystdy .. had to take a short lunch .. had to go to the dr .. have a lump come up on my forearm and DH was freaking out about .. Doc says it is benign .. we are just going to watch it .. ... too many hot days in the sun .. I told the DR I wear sunblock all the time .. he laughed and said .. "now at OUR age you know it is more than likely the damage done when we were kids or teens .. b/c we really didnt know about sunblock" .. .. OK .. GEE THANKS DOC .. I know I am old you didnt have to remind me

Plyo class was awesome .. think the dude has a new appreciation for women's fitness classes now .. ...he was huffing and puffing .. left w/a red face and not a spot dry on him {{ insert evil grin }} .. I shopped on internet at lunch .. no w/o .. my legs are FRIED .. so this is my rest day .. tmrw planning on Body Max 2 w/SIL .. feel like we are on TBL .. and we are doing our "last chance workouts" b-4 our vacations start!!! I am certainly NOT where I am used to being .. nor where I want to be .. although my weight is the same according to Dr scales .. ?? go figure!

Jen ... WTG on the run .. I left my pedometer at work when I changed for class I was ticked .. now I am in another office another town .. and I wont have it for the weekend .. but I was around 5000 steps so I am sure after 60 minutes of plyo I made my 10k goal!!

I am swamped .. and it is raining AGAIN .. infact right now we are under a severe thunderstorm warning . heavy lightning .. high winds and rain I am shutting the doors and running to back if I hear the sirens go off .. this office is all GLASS around the front ..
