TGIF ... but NO long weekend for me ..

DANG it .. ALL of you getting a long weekend??? DANG IT - I dont get one :mad: I gotta work Monday .. boooooooooooooo!!!! So SIL and I did my BR-ish workout before the Triset UB - it was GREAT - I can really tell the station and knee lifts are working on my lower abs .... I AGAIN was surpised at Trisets UB - Cathe manages to take standard exercises and put in EVIL twist to them that make them work your entire body while totally FRYING what ever muscle she is working on :confused: again .. the core was lit up the entire workout - very different and very AWESOME .. I think the Trisets are now gonna be my favorite form of weight torture :eek:

Wendy - sending WINNING VIBES your way - and WOW .. DH suggested shopping .. I am impressed .. he IS a keeper!!! Shopping - Winery - Casino .. ummmmmmm ya lady you are gonna have a BLAST of a weekend!! Have fun ;) .. WTG on the addition ab work .. those knee ins work like no other huh?

Di - AT is prbly THE hardest of the LIS series .. I THINK .. and also my favorite .. well it is tied w/Afterburn as my favorite!!! I cant wait till the new ones come out - yes i pre ordered ASAP as I got Cathe's notice!! DSIL: wow .. she is DOING EXCELLENT .. her strength is back (she is passing me in some strength areas) and her body is putting back on some muscle - I am SO proud of her and happy she is feeling good and healthy - of course she is working out w/me so our workouts I have us doing have been kicking both our arses!! :D:D:D hey that is what a good SIL does right??? :p

Lori - yes MAMA GOTTA LOOK GOOD .. girl heck ya ... :D and I am sure DH appreciates it too!!! I think your endurance is gonna come back quickly!!! you are gonna be rocking your lulu's in no time!! ;)

Allee - you may dislike THURS .. but bet you LUUUURV FRIDAYS .. woot woot!! :p :D

OK . sooooo today is my official REST day .. this bod has been thru hell this week - and today it is time to rest and repair - we have a Wild Turkey Federation Banquet tonight - they always have THE BEST auction items .. DH has warned me ONLY bid if I JUST HAVE to have it (((( uhhhh ok - if you say so .. LOL ))))

SAT: is going to be Afterburn or Bob's torture - SUN is going to be a BR-ish cardio followed by P90x2 yoga :D HAVE A GREAT LOOOOONG WEEKEND LADIES ---- :D
 
Hi Girls,

Im busy getting ready to head to my parents house. So much to pack with two small ones:confused: I had to start writing a list b/c there were things I didnt want to forget but dont use them...the "just in cases' that come with a baby.

I did do 45 mins of cardio and 4DS shoulders today. Im gonna take some workout cloths with me cause my SIL owns a TM. I dont think its a real good one but who cares!

Diana** Glad someone is in the same boat as me;) I rememver with DS1 I was back to running 9 miles every weekend in no time. Im not sure if I will find the time this rime around:confused:

Laura** Im on an extended long weekend;) Like a whole year...sorry I had to rub that in;)

DH is playing hockey all weekend and he is trying to help me out before I go. Its pretty funny b/c he was getting the girls lunch, while the baby was crying and DS1 was yelling and now DD has music on bust. Men cant handle what we can, thats forsure!

I will check in over the weekend!

Hi Ladies,

I had a busy day at work but did get a lot accomplished! My glutes and legs are still sore tonight. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

My new resistance bands arrived yesterday and they are tough. I also ordered cyle max....why you ask...cuz I hate that my LIS is not complete. I don't even have bike...:confused:....I figure my next purchase would be a trainer for the road bike I bought last fall then I can try out cyclemax!:D

Allee-I second what Laura suggested and would add Intensity and High Reps. If you don't mind high impact, Imax 3 and HIIT are good too! We are just a bunch of enablers. We are a chatty bunch, feel free to chime in about anything.:)

Lori-have a fun weekend with your parents. Does Rylan like to help out with the baby? It was probably amusing to watch DH handle the situation with kids today huh!

Laura-Well I had to take a vacation day for Monday since my company doesn't have it off either. It's a day for "me"....so looking forward to my facial...and botox. Glad to hear SIL is doing so much better! We have been doing circuits in bootcamp, goodies too. We did alternating cardio and strength training for 1 minute each, 4 stations, 3 rounds per grouping and 4 groupings. i'll try to type it up and email it to you. My shoulders were killing me, my quads were burning, my calves were on fiyah...etc.

Hi Ladies,

Today I did Disc 25, Chest & Back. It was awesome to be lifting heavy today. This weeks rotation will have to be rearranged a bit, but I shouldn't have any problem getting all the w/o's in. Wonder what Slide N Glide is like, haven't done that one yet and am not really looking forward to it. It's kind of a pain to have to move all my mats etc.

Allee-hope you made tons of tips today!:) What workout(s) did you end up ordering???

Off to do some household chores...much needed, but not fun at all.

We did afterburn ystdy...and my butt n hammies are hurting today...eeeooouuch...yoga was on tap for today..but sil went shopping...and i am taking a rest day...plan on hitting it hard again starting tmrw....

Hi Ladies,

This darn cold has moved into my chest eliminating the possibility of cardio for today. Instead, I did Plyo Legs and Shoulders/Bi's Tri's on the rotation for this week. I'll play this weeks rotation by ear and hope for the best.

OMG, I rocked bicep curls with 52#'s....I felt so accomplished until I got the concentration curls...those were super tough with 20's.

I got my haircut and had her add some gold tones, I'm pretty happy with it. Looking forward to day off tomorrow!!

Laura-Afterburn is quite the butt burner for sure. Enjoy the rest of your day.

More household chores to take care of.

Good Morning:)

How was everyones weekend? Mine was nice and relaxing. I didnt get out of my pjs until 4:30 on saturday:). My mom and sister took the boys outside and the baby and I had a nice long nap. I did manage to do MMA boxing yesterday morning before church though:)

I havent decided on todays workout yet but it will be after lunch. I didnt get up until 9:30 and there just isnt enough time in the a.m when the baby needs to be fed and my house tidied up some.

I will bbl and catch up on personnals!

Monday - UGH

Man I hate coming in to work when everyone else I know iS OFF :mad: soooo i was a total bum ystdy it was WONDERFUL .. think my body REALLY need some rest to recoop - I beat it up pretty bad last week!! Now it is back to reality .. thinking a run at lunch ... and prbly Asylum S&A tonight . ..
it is a BEAUTY of a day today .. after a very rainy dreary cold weekend .. a run will be NICE at lunch .. I have got to get back to my clean eating .. I have been lax .. not been to grocery store .. so I dont have the clean fresh foods I NEED to have instead I have the prepackaged junk that is horrible for me!!! I am back to logging WW points .. I say this as I am eating a PACKAGED GRANOLA bar .. (5 points - eeek) ... GOT TO GO TO GROCERY STORE!!!!!

Di - man your cold is lingering .. and WOW your bis must be made of steel woman .. WOW!!!!! I cant imagine doing that kind of weight .. my bis are big but NOT strong!!!

Lori - I had a "stay in the PJ's" kind of day ytsty :) it was niiice!!!

Hi Ladies,

This darn cold just won't let go. I'm not a fan of tea but have drank more green tea this past week than I have in my whole life I think. There are many benefits to green tea but my research yielded you need 10 cups a day to reap the benefits. Okay, so I haven't been drinking that many cups.

The rotation calls for cardio today but I'm not up for that this morning. I have bootcamp class tonight anyway so I don't want to push it.

This is day 8 of this stinkin' cold so it should be movin' out soon. It doesn't help that 3 of us in the house have it. We did a good cleaning of the house with pinesol yesterday, wiped down all the doors, doorknobs as well the normal stuff.

Laura-Send some warm weather my way, it snowed again last night and I'm sick of the cold weather. Did you notice the Points Plus 2012 allows you less points???? My daily points were lowered by 3. The weekly points stayed the same. I keep yo-yo'ing with WW. Some weeks I log great, others are hit and miss. Enjoy your run and S&A tonight! Although I feel strong sometimes, I simply do not have any or much bicep definition...it is very discouraging. Just my body type I guess...or the extra fat I carry.:p

Morning Glories.

Well we had fun in ac but we had to cut it short. Got home y'day afternoon. DS got sick saturday night and even though his fever had dropped by Sunday morning, we didn't want to take the chance so we came home a day early. Y'day I cooked dinner. Made this Pork Tenderloin with Onions and Dried Cranberries Recipe | MyRecipes.com but left out the cranberries and subbed in broccolli for the spinach in the side. Served the meat on mashed potatoes. YUMMY! We watched episode 4 of Star Wars while we ate. (We started watching them from episode 1 last weekend)
Today I am making this for dinner. Pasta with Roasted Butternut Squash and Shallots Recipe | MyRecipes.com We'll probably watch more Star Wars while we eat.

So since we came home early you know I couldn't NOT work out today! :p I kinda reversed the order of week 3 of the rotation because I wasn't in the mood for lifting so I started with the last work out of the week and did CSS instead. :)

K, off to the foodstore with me...BBL or in the a.m.!
