Diana:: OMG what a PITA re your taxes! I'd be :mad::mad::mad: too! Funny how working out is a stress reliever yet if I am stressing often times working out is the LAST thing I want to do! Go figure! :rolleyes: Yeup I can definitely see BR being metabolic training! Just one more reason to keep doing it! ;):D

Yes HIGH REPS .. I know I am insane .. but my thinking was .. well LIGHTER weights ... total body workout ... heart rate will be elevated entire time ... but I guess I had a memory lapse b/c I forgot how freaking hard it was ... :confused::confused::confused: yes .. BRAIN FART on my part!!!

OOOOOOHHHHHNOOOOOO .. that is NOT gonna be fun .. i had a co-worker of mine whos taxes got screwed up like that .. it was a MESS .. a big freaking time consuming mess ... geesh .. maybe you caught it quick and it wont be bad .. I HOPE!!!! OH MAN ... NO I may opt for CABS instead of a workout if that had of happened to me (I know I am no help what so ever .. sorry) .. {{{{{{ hugs to you }}}}}

Hi Girls:)

Workout and lunch is done. I did 40 mins on the TM and STS TB (UB only). I guess I will do LB tomorrow.

Im a little irritated with DH b/c he ordered shirts for DS's party that we were gonna get screen printed. He promised me that they would be here and whaddya know...they aint here:mad: So now I have to either fill loop bags or tell each kid that we will drop their shirts off to them:confused: Like I have time to drive around town hand delivering stuff.

Good Morning:)

Just topping up my baby so I can get my workout started:) It will probably be similar to yesterdays workout and I will finish STS FB. I dont really have any other plans for today but my sister is in town so she will probably be over at some point.

Diana** What do you think is going on with your taxes? Thats odd...or it could be a computer glitch.I dont really trust computers. DH just asked me when we can do our taxes. Last year I used my taxes for our trip down south:D, that wont be happening this year:(. I think our return will just be put in the bank for when DH is away.

Wendy** I know!!!! BUT he ordered them through work which is something I wouldnt have been able to do. And thats why that was his only task:confused: He pulled it off after but had waaaay to many shirts screen printed. I dont know what Im going to do with all of them.

Laura** HR is one of my fav workouts...shame on you for thinking it was easy;):p

Scale is moving again. 3 lbs in one day...I will take it!

Good Morning.

Today was Low Impact Challenge. I did the lower body blast/challenge first thinking I was going to do it more then once since I don't know all of the step routines. Well, IDK what got into me but I ended up atleast ATTEMPTING all of them! I didn't do the part where you string them all together. I would have killed myself!:p But I DID attempt them all..even combo 4!!! :eek::confused::eek::confused: I forgot that I am pretty capable of combo 3. One move trips me up but I can fake my way through it easy enough. Combo 4 OTOH..OH.MY.GAWD.!!! LOL I musta' been a sight tryin' to do that!:D So anyway my work out was about 40ish+ minutes having done ALMOST all of it. ;)

Happy Valentines Day Girlies!

So today is the day for lovers and romance .. HA .. but DH is on nights .. so romance will be prbly pretty low key ... :p .. I will probably pick up a steak and we will have a quick mini date night ... it is also my DBIL and DA birthday ... so I have to go visit w/my DA and DM and my DN after work .. soooooo SIL and I are gonna hit the CC heavy weights at lunch .. My arms are STILL fried .. yikes!!!

SIL and I were SOOOO SORE ystdy - we did do Asylum - Speed and Agility .. forgot how much I LOVE that workout .. it was fun .. the pushups were sloppy .. and couldnt do the last sets of them .. b/c our arms were just simply FRIED .. done .. but it was a good sweat and fun ... JUST RIGHT!!!

Lori - 3 pounds in one day .. WOW .. WTG .. I knew you would drop the baby weight weight easy!!! Well at least the shirts came in .. I thought OH LORD .. poor DH .. he will never hear end of it ...LOL ... look on the bright side .. better to have too many than not enough!!:D

Di - yes .. I guess the trainer in me will always come up with a "go around" for an exercise ...:D LOL :p!!!!

Wendy .. that is the one of the LIS workouts I have not done .. LIC .. is it all step??? I DREAD step workouts .. just burned out on them you know .. they hurt my knees and I guess I have taught step for so long I just dont want to do it on my own ... would rather do plyo work ...

OK .. better run .. hope cupid is good to ya'll!!! have a great Valentine's Day Ladies!!;)
 
Hi Girls:)

Workout done. Almost 40 mins of cardio and standing leg work of LBB. Everytime I got on the bike the baby would cry and whenever I got off to do weights he was quiet:confused: God forbid he save me from the elvated lunges! I think the last time I got on the bike for 5 mins of cardio, I got off 4 times in 3 mins to tend to him so I called it quits.

Hi Ladies,

I am so sick this morning, think it may be strep or a sinus infection. It started yesterday afternoon and came on very quickly. I was in bed by 8 just watching tv, not sure when I fell asleep but didn't get up until 7:30 this morning.

DH left me a bouquet of flowers that is beautiful and some reese's dark chocolate miniatures! He wins!!!!

No workout to report for yesterday....too busy trying to figure out my tax situation and then not feeling well enough for bootcamp. The rotation calls for Back and Triceps and I think I can handle that later today.

Wendy-Oh my, LIC is tricky. It starts off okay and then just gets more confusing as the w/o goes on IMO. I think I have a better grasp on it now though...guess I'll find out tomorrow! Your comment regarding men...so true!!! Absolutely, If you can't do it yourself get a women to take care of it cuz you know it will get done!!!:D

Lori-Since I'm home today I'll be working on our tax situation. Wish I could use our refund for a vacation, we need to pay off some bills. This tight money situation we're in is not fun. We did hear that DH may be getting some of his pay back. Not sure if you remember, but his company has had paycuts and furlough days for the past 2 and a half years. Getting some of that money back in late summer will help. Unfortunetly is not retroactive but it will certainly help. When does DH leave for training? Way to go on the weightloss!!!

Laura-love the core challenge and will give it a try this weekend!

Laura:: Yes, LIC is an all step work out but it has a cardio blast that is lower body specific kinda like the blasts in 4DS LIS and it also has a bonus cardio n weight circuit that's comprised of 4 segments. It's completely athletic moves (no choreo) and it can be it's own shorter work out or an add on. I used it last time with the first 2 combos and the blast to make a full 50 minute w/o without having to struggle thru the trickier step combos. :)

Diana:: Sorry you are sick. :( Are you home today then? Feel better fast!

Lori:: I guess your boy is not a fan of cardio! LOL Sorry. That stinks b/c ofcourse cardio is the part of the work out where it is more important that you NOT be interrupted! :confused: Keep trying! Don't give up!...WAIT! Great idea here! Buy one of those things you put on your back and put a baby in and then he can go on the bike WITH you! Maybe he won't cry then! ;)
 
Lunch workout DONE!

I survived heavy weights in the gym .. I LOVE that place .. sooo not use to the nice equiptment - I should be sore tmrw - I did the entire body - including my ever sore tris and bis ... yes .. I managed .. although i was making some whimpering noises that resembled that of a hurt puppy I think :eek: but TOTAL BODY DONE!!! woot woot!!!

WENDY .. I WILL NOT ORDER A NEW WORKOUT .. i will not order a new workout .. {{{ shaking fist in air at my cyber enabler }}} .. I Pre ordered Cathe's new ones .. and right now Cathe and Bob are beating me up pretty bad ... so my will should stay strong!! LOLOLOL

I saw an infomercial .. she has a entire series out now .. think 10 DVDs .. 3 months rotation .. and from previews they looked to be better quality DVD and program than what she usually puts out ... I already heard about these from Jen (IrishRose) this morning and talked myself down off that ledge pretty quickly so :p ! She may order them as a "reward" to herself for participating in her first Half Marathon in a few months and if she does I am allowed to borrow them when she is through so HAHAHAHAHAHA your evil plan is foiled! Mwahahahahaaaaaah! The set I ordered is sooo darned cheap, I HAD to do it! Go ahead! You know you want to! ;)

After doing some stuff around the house I felt I had the energy to workout. I did Disc 2-Back & Triceps, No Equipment Abs, and After Burn. I expect to be sore tomorrow!

I've had a very productive day, 2 loads of laundry done, dinner is in the crock pot and just some filing left to go. The computer desk is covered with papers for our taxes and we are looking at refinancing the house.

Wendy-you are crazy girl. I'm abstaining for now, but the price really can't be beat. I'm passing on Jillian to, I don't find her motivating at all and rarely reach for her workouts. Tell Jen I wish her the best on her HM!

Laura-nice workout at the CC. Have you decided if you want to teach there? I previewed Jillians new series, good thing I don't like her or I might want to order them. I still have the P90X2 rotation to do after this 3 month rotation is over. So many workouts, so little time!

Lori-glad you got your workout in despite a fussy baby. Guess you'll have to stick to weight training when DB (dear baby);) is awake and hit the cardio when he is napping.

re: teaching: *sigh* you know I am just SOOOOO enjoying doing my own thing - I feel like Ihave NEVER been this sore - I am getting more fine tuned workouts - WHEN I want to do them - and soooooo nice not to be stressing about HAVING to rearrange plans when soemthing comes up or worry about music .. routines .. etc .. *sigh* .. as guilty as my former students make me feel .. I am REALLY enjoying what I am doing .. and LOVING the freedom .. and feel I am getting better focused workouts .. would like to see if I get better results too .. I am still batting around the outdoor BOOTCAMP classes when the time changes tho ....???

I think I would like to have another coffee but I think I will skip it and go right to a workout instead. I think today will just be cardio and maybe some abs. I read somewhere that I shouldnt do any ab work until 8 weeks PP. But I dont think basic ab work will hurt, not to mention I think I did ab work right after DS1 was born.

Wendy** Thank goodness he was only interupting me at the end of my workout. I did get 30 mins of uninterupted cardio. He sits in his swing next to the TM so maybe the sound of it puts him to sleep. You must own quit the variety of workouts now! I was tempted to order Brazilian Butt lift. What are your thoughts on those and do you still use them?

Laura** I had to laugh at you enabling Wendy!:p As if she needs help! Did you buy anymore lulu while I was absent? I may have purchased some since Christmas:eek: I have tons to fit back into thats for sure!

Still feeling under the weather today. Sore throat, ears hurt, congestion etc. Like yesterday, I may have the energy to workout in a bit, but I have to go to work to day. Not sure if I'll try a short w/o or just skip it today.

Lori-What's up with all you enablers!!!:rolleyes: So are the lulu bra tops supportive enough to wear without an additional jog bra under them? What about the coverage...is it good? I don't want nipples showing when I sweat!

Today was X shoulders and arms and I brought it for sure! :D

I know a lot of people criticize the set (and Tony) but the man knows what he is doing and isn't tough to look at either! ;) It really is an EXCELLENT program! The problem, I think, is that many get spoiled with the "extras" that Cathe has in her work outs that most do not. Cathe admittedly goes that extra mile and it is obvious and very appreciated and I love what she does but I do not let that blind me from the fact that just coz other instructors may not have all the extras doesn't mean the work out isn't top notch! STS is great but having done 2 P90X work outs recently I have to say that I really appreciate the simplicity-no crazy amounts of equipment necessary! Just some basic necessities and hard work! :)

Diana:: I can't believe the work outs you ended up doing y'day! My jaw dropped! Be careful. You could make yourself sicker if you over-do it. :) I passed on JM too. I like her but I don't LOVE her and I don't reach for her work outs often either. I pre-ordered a kickbox work out of hers but it was inexpensive and seems like it could be used as a nice add on or for days when I'm short on time, etc. Not prepared to drop bigger amounts of cash on her though. Like I said, if Jen caves then maybe I'll borrow it. ;)

Lori:: I haven't used Brazilian Butt Lift in a while but still have the set and have been thinking about them a lot lately. I definitely want to do another rotation that incorporates them soon. The rotation I did DEFINITELY yielded some nice results for me!:) Glad your baby let you get in a decent cardio work out after all!
