Morning ladies,

Hope everyone is having a nice start to the weekend. :) Gonna be a very warm one here.

Today will be Housework MAX for me (rest) & tomorrow will be a rest as well. Have a lot things to do & also hoping to get out to the country with DH and do a little swimming. Rest weekend it is!

Will see you all Monday. Take care.

Peace.

Hi Elsie,

Good morning to you! Today I did Rippedism - legs + 15 minutes of Cassey Ho Pilates. I am working today - 2 clients + hanging around. Swimming? in the country? where? is it that warm out there?

Have a wonderful Saturday everyone.

Good morning, hope you don't mind me joining. This morning I did HI/LO HiiT LIVE with Step. I was a sweaty mess and loved it! :D

Elsie, I'm a little jealous you can go swimming today. Have fun!!!

Hi ladies,
I had planned to do a double Live class today, but I think I picked too tough a first one.
I did Metabolic Circuit blast... Very good, but also tiring and it was already getting hot in the room I exercise in. I then started doing Barbell Upper body, but stopped after 18minutes as I was exhausted! So a total of approx an hour, but given that it was already around 25 degrees Celsius outdoors it was enough.

Welcome molasses! I don't think I have ever seen you in this check in, but I am also the newest one here. Perhaps you can give a short intro about yourself. We all did that last week, if you want to go back and read them so you know who is in this check in.

Welcome molasses to our check-in! Henriette, today we had 25 degrees celsius here in Milan as well. So during week ends, from now onwards, I will be only able to do my workouts early in the morning or late afternoon, as I normally do during week days. Today I did it at around 6.30 pm and had to switch the air conditioner on as it was already quite hot in the room. Today I did Cathe's Imax, the original one. I loved it, it has got very simple coreographies for the step combos and challenging but doable, at least for me today, high impact blasts. Before doing the w/ o my partner and I took the two dogs out for a long walk. They are so sweet. Last night during sleep I had a bad dream and started crying out, they both stepped into my bedroom, I heard them coming in and the bad dream immediately stopped. My two sweet guardian angels....

Good morning everyone,

Happy Mother's Day - to us all. We all mother on some level - friends, spouses, children, pets, gardens, neighbours, strangers etc...

Welcome Molasses. Please feel free to check in with us. If you feel up for it - maybe tell us a bit about you. We did that earlier in the week as many of us are pretty new to each other.

Henriette - Your posts convinced me - for mother's day I subscribed again to Cathe Live. What fun! I will try it for one month and see how it goes. Today I did PHAT 2 (tough) + 20 minutes of You can do anything for a minute. Love the variety, the motivation, the energy. Wow. I missed it.

Sandy - that warm? I exercise early morning to avoid the heat too. it gets sticky here in the summer months

Elsie - My DH and kids cleaned the house for me for mother's day. well, their version e.g. tidying but better them than me!

Have a great day everyone.

Happy Mother's Day!

Thanks everyone for the welcomes. :) I'm terrible at this but here goes: I'm 38, single, mother to a cat, live in Ottawa (hi fellow Canadians!!!) and work for the Government. I discovered Cathe in 2008 because I needed to find a new step instructor and have purchased everything she's released since. Took a few years off Cathe due to injuries (shoulder, hip flexor, knee) and did barre (boring), Classical Stretch (meh), fitness blender (too repetitive) but I'm back and Cathe is better than ever. I wake up at 4:30 to work out because I have no energy in the evenings and work lots of overtime. I've been trying to follow a rotation but keep going back to the LIVE workouts even though I just bought ICE, RWH and the 2013 releases, they are all gathering dust - I'm currently using the Rock Bottoms rotation as a template but substituting LIVE. I don't have anyone to talk to about fitness so I'm happy for the forum.

Today was Cardio Leg Blast with High Step. I had to pause a few times to catch my breath, can't wait to try this one again.

CeciFifi: Great gift to yourself, you will love it! I'm looking forward to trying PHAT 2 - I really liked the first PHAT class.

Have a good day!

PS: I really like using exclamation points!!! I can't help myself.

Hi all and happy mother's day! Today I intended to do Flex Train, but ended up doing Jillian's Micheals No more trouble zones. Jillian was one of the instructors that introduced me to home fitness, together with the firm. Due to my wrist and forearm problems (I'm having an eco and rx next week) I am trying to use very light weights. Jillian makes you sweat and work hard but you do not need much equiment to workout with her.
Molasses, I read the rock bottoms rotation a few days ago, many compliments, that is really tough!!!

Nice to read you all had a nice weekend. Mine was nice too. Yes, went swimming today although was not as warm as I had hoped. I was mostly wading/playing anyway! lol. We just went to Maple Ridge, not that far. Also, got in some nice light hiking. Weekend started off a bit stressful, but was nice in the end.
Ceci, what great gifts for you. Cathe Live!! woohoo. & chores done around the house. ;)
Sandy, we've been considering using the A/C already as well. Another reason why I like working out after 10:30 pm most of the time now. Or very early. I am hoping you get some relief with your wrist issues this week. Sounds like it might be tendonitis.
Henriette, DOUBLE Live class?? You go girl! You work out so hard.
Annette, hope your Moms Day was a good one with your sons. I spoke to Mom on the phone to catch up as we live many miles away.

Molasses, hey there & welcome! Very nice to see you here ...I am pretty sure we have chatted in Open Discussion etc. in the past. I am relatively new here & these ladies really rock! Molasses is my favourite sweetener & favourite type of bun. lol. My Mom has such a great recipe for what we call "Lassy Buns".(Don't worry, I will not start calling you that!) I like to add Fitness Blender to my regimen. Daniel's dynamic stretches and such are excellent. He is a pilates instructor and a PT.

See you Monday friends.
