Tonight: Steady state cardio (about 40 minutes worth) plus back work on schedule [may sub StepBlast and then do today's workout tomorrow evening instead]

Hi Cathy,
Brief Hijack - I just wanted to mention this to you. I remember when I first hurt my foot, you commented that I should go to a doctor. I did have it x-rayed at the hospital I work at when I first injured it and they said it was negative. Last night, I went to a foot doctor, cuz I developed a callus on my "good" foot that turned into a 2nd degree burn from putting liquid callus remover on it (another story). Anyway, he x-rayed my feet and told me I have a healing stress fracture and pointed to the exact spot on my foot that hurt. He couldn't believe I never stopped doing aerobics and he said I was lucky I didn't displace it and need surgery. Thank goodness for my rebounder. I think it saved me! I just thought you'd I'd mention it since you voiced concern in the very beginning!

ETA: I voiced concern to him that the hospital didn't find it and he said stress fractures are hard to see when they are fresh. He stated that they get easier to see when they are healing due to the way the bone heals.

You are one tough woman to be able to handle all that pain. I am glad the source of your problem was identified. Now, you can keep your eye on it and do the appropriate things. Take care of yourself.

Have not exercised since thursday and determined to get in a workout today! It has been a combination of stress and painting all weekend,but I'm taking a day off from painting today.

I have planned to do PUB, and 100 crunches. The only thing I have to do today is go sign my daughter up for dance, but no painting!!

Good Morning Fit Ladies!:)

Yesterday was my first time doing PowerHour!! I loved it but OMG she works your legs! }( I am nervous about trying LL now, after hearing what everyone says about it!!! During the deadlifts (after all the squats and lunges) in PH my knees were shaking so badly I had to stop and stretch before I got back into it !! And my thighs have DOMS today!:eek:
This morning I did Step and Intervals (still trying out all my new CTX workouts). It was really fun. Also Stretchmax. Ahhhhhhhhhh.......I needed that!;-)
Before it gets too hot today, I also need to do mowmax. That's about an hour of pushing, so it's a workout by itself, especially in this heat!!

Good Morning Fit Women,

Yesterday was Tricep and Chest/Back work. Did 6 sets of 8 pulldowns. One set at 70# and then had to bring it back down to 60#. Bench press at 55# all three sets. 25# on deadlifts and a 25lb dumb bell for the one when your on the bench with the weight in both hands going behind your head...forget what that one is called. Triceps on Tri's and Bi's same as Cathe except I stuck with 8# for kickbacks on all three sets.

Today is suppose to be Core Max 1 and 2 and Boot Camp twice, but it is my TTOM so I will have to see what my body can handle and let you know tomorrow, but will give it a try.

Good morning everybody! :)

On the August rotation for me was IMAX 2 and Coremax #3. I did IMAX 2 and had to skip 2 intervals, because I was short on time ;( , but I had a lot of fun with it, I forgot that this is my favorite of the IMAX's. Tonight I will do the Coremax segment.
That rotation is quite challenging, but I feel really great this morning! :7

Good morning all!

Last night I did Core Max #3 and the Stretch Max segment with the stability ball. Oh my, did that feel wonderful. I slept like a baby.

I was supposed to do Muscle Max this morning (same as Emily) but I was craving cardio so I did Step Blast. I haven't done it in awhile and it was so fun! Tonight I will either do MM or PUB. And maybe that wonderful Stretch Max again.....:p

Becky...isn't Power Hour fun!! Something about the music I love. LL is very tough. I should get my CTX's today!!! I have them on VHS but I am slowly converting.

Emily...I seem to always do parts of MM usually not the whole workout...way to go!!

I am doing Freestlye legs exercises, a 6 mile run, abs and GS shoulder, biceps and triceps.

Good morning,

This morning I did LowMax 1-4, and CTX back and chest. LowMax felt great after LL yesterday. Got the legs all stretched out again.

Katie - your plan to have a nice dinner with your husband next weekend sounds really good. Something to look forward to! I'm feeling as good as can be expected. I'm tired a lot, can't eat more than three bites at a time, and don't pick up anything off the floor unless I really have to. Remember all that? :) Sleeping at night isn't too bad. I only ever have to get up once to use the bathroom, thank heavens. Overall I'm looking forward to having my old body back. It moved much quicker and easier. Only a few more weeks!! Thank you for asking about me.

Carole - wow!!! That's quite the mish mosh you put together yesterday! Do you have a multi-disc player?

Jes - ooooooh, is this the beautiful white one with the red beads? I want to see a picture of you in that one. I'll swap you with one of my latest belly pics.

Becky - discovering new workouts is great fun. I'm glad you like PH so much. It's one of my favourites (and I agree: the lower body segments are tough!!). How did you fare with the biceps? }(

No I don't have a multi disc player, but I do have a DVD/VCR so as I have both DVD's and VHS's that really helps...:)....Carole

I did Hardcore Kickbox Circuit today. Thinking of doing nothing but cardio, circuits and intervals this week, no actual weight work aside from what I get in the circuit workouts, just for a change of pace. Felt I was getting burned out from weight work so hoping a break will revive my desire to weight train.:)

Good Morning.

Aug 04 rotation calls for PUB and 20 min run today...Got PUB done earlier this morning. I think that might the most difficult of Cathe's upper body work outs for me! I definately felt the burn, baby! }(

I will sub in 20 mins of a Cathe cardio for the run at some point today...just not sure when yet.

Sandy---I am so excited to be upping my weights on PLB...until tomorrow, that is...when I actually have to DO the work out with the heavier weights! }( :eek: :p And yes, the stability ball segment is DEFINATELY sadistic! When I do it tmrw I will use my fanny lifter instead. ;) What makes it all even more scarey is that I have to follow all of this up with 200 walking lunges!:eek: Pray for me, okay? :p

Morning ladies. This morning for the first time I did the PLB/PUB bonus combo. Not too bad of a workout. It certainly wasn't ME, but not bad. I wanted to get some cardio in too, but we are having our backyard completely re-landscaped and they were there at 6:30, so I ran out of time.

Sandra - I definitely remember those days. Only I was eating like a pig (my daughter sat VERY low so she didn't seem to interfere with my stomach capacity;-) ). I just remember not wanting to walk anywhere and that I couldn't sleep at night because my hips would ache so bad. Once you get to that size it's a struggle to do anything. Again, I admire you (and all the other pregnant ladies out there) who are doing, or did, consistent workouts while they were pregnant.

Hi, everyone -
I love reading all the different workouts. It's amazing how many combos there are.

Yesterday I did my own version of a full-body weight workout. Just didn't feel like listening to any music, so I just pulled out the weights and went at it. My triceps are a little sore today, which is a good thing.

Today will be Kick Max - no time to add anything on, but I may try some walking lunges on my way to the barn.
