Yesterday: CTX upper body and PLB(floor work and stretch plus calves)

Today: steady state cardio (short only about 40 min plus some freestyle leg work on schedule)

I don't have KickMax which is on the rotation so I'm subbing LowMax and a walk/ run instead and then some freestyle upper body.

Good Morning Cathy and Kali,

I missed my w/o last night so I am going to do what I missed today....full body weights, cardio and abs. When I missed last week I gave up a full body weight day so this week I will give up something else instead. I am tired of missing though...this is 2 weeks in a row...I hope it's not the beginning of a new trend for me. :-(

Today is KickMax.

LOL Jane. That's a good question! I know I never used to think so! Now that I am home Mondays are not so bad but I still look forward to fridays as much as ever! :)

Good monming Cathy, Kali, Wendy, Jane, and everyone who comes after me,

Boy, you gals are up and at it early today!!:) Wendy, I missed a w/o one day last week because I was sick. I opted not to make it up because it would've messed up my rotation for this week. I really need to stay on track this week.

Yesterday, instead of upper and lower body and abs I walked 6 miles--4 in the morning and another 2 in the afternoon.

Today is basic step and upper body with ab add on. I'm going to try the step today. If my hip bothers me too much I'll substitute another 4 mile walk.

Good Morning!

Yesterday I didn't check in, but I did Imax 3. I haven't done that one in a while. I forgot how good and intense it was.
Today was PUB. Also Monday is my cleaning day. I have to go to school tonight too. So I need to get as much done as I can. I want to wash the outside of my windows too. I guess I can do that on Weds. Oh well! I will get to them. I know because my OCD will kick in!:)

Hi ladies:

Today is IMAX 2 or 3 (cant decide), a little run to the store, and heavy chest work at the gym.

I just got back from Victoria,BC and I am having a difficult time adjusting to the heat, humidity, time change and A/C being on everywhere. I left Victoria on Wednesday morning and it was 55 degrees outside with a breeze. I was chilly, comfortable and had had a great night of sleep. SInce returning to Chicago, I havent slept well in 5 days and my allergies are starting to bother me as well. Ugh, Chicago in the summer sucks!!! Yuck!
Hope everyone is doing well.
 
Hello Check-In Friends

We are still working out a morning routine here. Each day is a little different, but we keep tweaking it to get more efficient. :)

The Sept. rotation, although I really like it needs to be put on hold for now. Since my only cardio is bike intervals, a new personal rotation is in order.
Day 1 & 4 - Total body weights, including abs (freestyle for lower body)
Day 2 & 5 - pilates class or yoga and bike intervals
Day 3 & 6 - Lower body (free style) and bike intervals and abs
Day 7 REST

I will try this for a few weeks to see if it is doable.
If I stray from this whip me!!!!}( }( }(

I have not been checking in because I haven't done anything for 4 days. No excuse, just wasn't motivated which is very unusual for me. I've been under a lot of stress and I think I mentally just shut down for a few days. Now I'm fresh and ready to get back to it. I did the weight and stretch parts of Timesaver day 1 and at lunch I have a spinning class.

Hi Venus,

Hey, we all go through periods of malaise where we don't feel like sticking with the program. I think it's just fine to take a break if we feel we need to. The important things is you're back and ready to go today--and what GREAT results you've had so far!!!:) :) Keep up the good work.

Good Morning Motivating Ladies!!!

Today on the rotation is Kickmax and since I don't have it, I did KPC in its place. It's the first time I've done the whole thing (I have the timesaver dvd) and I loved it ! I'm really surprised too because I am NOT a kickboxing fan in general. My side and back kicks are low and pathetic!!:p BUT it was a good, hard workout and I feel very energized.
Thank you Sandra and Jane for all the help in picking a substitute workout for today. This was perfect and I may just repeat it Thurs. when KPC really IS on the rotation. ;-)
Oh & IMHO , the music for Abs is some of the best. Very motivating!!

Kickmax on the rotation today, this one is just not one of my favs..

Anyways, I did The low impact kickbox premix, then I did the CTX Abs and planks section to make it 75 minutes.

Hope y'all had a great weekend.

Saturday, I did Imax 3 on an 8" step and it really wasn't too much different to doing Imax 3 on a 6" step. There were a couple of blasts that were more intense, but I didn't modify and felt great after!

Yesterday, I did GS Chest & Tris and the Coremax Tough Abs premix.

I'm not feeling at all well today, and there's a 5 mile run on my rotation, but I'm not sure I'll be able to manage that. I'll have to see how I feel later on. It might be a forced rest day.

Cathy...good workouts!

Kali...I really don't reach for Kickmax alot, but those leg conditioning drills are great for freestyle. Have fun with Lowmax!

Wendy...don't be so hard on yourself...sometimes I miss workouts too...:)

Jane...I like Mondays....but that is beacause I am always off...:)

Michele...walking is a good idae if your hip bothers you a bit...

Tammy...Stepblast is quite fun..

Carla...monday is also my cleaning day. I need to get at some weeds again too!

Welcome back Suzanne. I bet you had a nice vacation. I agree allergies are no fun. I hope your body adjusts to Chicago soon...:)

Venus..motivation can be tough under stress. Glad you are back with us again!!

Charlotte....PUB is an awesome workout. I attack those spiders with my vacuum...

I am doing Freestyle legwork, abs, Cardio Kicks and P90X Soulders and Arms.

Hey Shelley--Sorry to hear you're not feeling well:-( :-( . Something must be going around. Everybody I know and their brother has been sick lately. I had it bad last week. I feel alot better now but I still have coughing fits and once I get started I just can't stop. Anyway, I think that taking a day to rest is a good idea. I know it worked wonders for me. Take care.
Oh--and great job on that IMAX w/o:D .
