Good Morning Everyone,

Witney7 - of course you can join us! All are welcome. Check in when you can.

Today is a rest day for me. Too much to do this morning - get youngest DD off to a school trip and help older DD with her English homework.

have a great day friends.

Hi Siobhan,

Yesterday was National Coffee Day. Various coffee houses offered free coffee, etc. in honor of the day..

Today was Amy Bento ASC 3 combos 1-4, and some of her core work - ran out of time!

Welcome to all newbies!! Love to hear what everyone is doing for their fitness goals!

Hi all today I did muscle max upper body. My legs are still sore from yesterday... Fantastic dvd even if an older one....

Thanks for the welcome, CeciFifi. Oh my goodness, a side note, your username makes me laugh because my real name is Cristy but I often use Cece for fun when I'm subscribing to dumb stuff online and EVERY time I play an online game or the Wii,, which isn't very often, I ALWAYS use the name of Fifi. :D I'll for sure remember your name. :)

My check in for the day: I got the live classes working again. YIPPEE! I really, really missed them. :) So I did PHA, which I love so much! I love the pace, I love the moves, and I love how I feel afterwards! :) A good day!

And welcome Sandy! Are you brand new to Cathe or just the boards? I've been here since 2007 apparently, as it says next to my name, but I'm not a big forums person, or haven't been, but I like this checking in daily idea, so I might be around more often. :)

Hi Witneys7! I'm brand new to this forum! What does Pha stand for? I' m Italian, not very good at understamding all abbreviations... :)

Hi! Italian, cool! And PHA stands for Peripheral Heart Activity. I'm not sure what makes it different than any other workout she does. I'm sure there is an article somewhere that would explain it. :) I googled it. Here is a short explanation: The PHA method was specifically designed to keep blood circulating throughout the whole body during the entire workout. The smaller muscles around the heart are worked first before the larger muscles around the body's periphery.

But again, I don't know really what all that means or how it really differs from other workouts. I just know Cathe makes me sweat no matter what type of exercise she is doing. :)

Couldn't agree more about Cathe's workouts! Since I purchased her first dvd, which was Low impact Hiit from Ripped with Hit series, I just keep on reaching to her dvds, and only seldom to the others! I may feel sore or fatigue after working out with Cathe but also feel so good and accomplished! Thanks for your explanation of PHA:
it certainly stimulates my curiosity and I will look out for more....
