Daily Check in Wed May 10

Good morning everyone. I was off yesterday and got a "double" workout in, since time ran out on me Monday everning. Yesterday I did back and chest work, core max 1 and SB. Today will be L&G and core max 2. Have a good day, all you fit folks.
 
Morning ladies. Today was GS Legs followed by a 30 minute run. We leave for vacation one week from today and I'm 2 pounds away from my goal. :-( Boy it sure does creep off slowly the closer you get!

Hi all,

Today I did PUB down only premix, then did PLB floorwork, then did MIS abs and stretch and for a short cardio did the Taebo 8 min. workout. Nice workout to get out some frustration and stress.

Dad is coming today sometime and my stress level is high but I can feel the prayers of people so it isn't as bad as it could be, thanks

Hey Sandra:) I'm so happy for you that you are all moved in but am so sorry about your kitty:( How is Paris with all of these monumentous changes in such a short while? Kids are so resilient it's really quite amazing. It's overwhelming how much there is to moving in, I still have boxes left unpacked from our move last May. I always find the first few nights in a new home kind of strange with it's different sounds and lighting. I'm glad you're able to get in your workouts, you must be zonked at night!

I'm glad you liked my silly pun, I wondered if anyone would catch that:) I was yanking full force on those vines and broke a vein in my right ring finger where you would wear a ring, and one just at the boney protruberance at my left wrist on the pinky sidex( It burned for a bit now it just looks bruised, it's not as tender as I thought it would be. Thanks for asking.:)

I'll join the club! I'm not a fan of hi/lo either. The last time I did SJP I did a premix that didn't have the hi/lo in it. LOVED it!:)

WOW Sandra. You had quite a weekend! Sorry to hear about your kitty. It's so sad, I know. I had to put down a dog and a cat in recent years and it broke my heart. :-( Wish your DH a belated happy birthday from us here in Catheland and I hope you settle in to your new place nicely!:)

I did Interval Max today and WOW!!!! that really is a tough one. I haven't done it in a very long time and it kicked my butt in a very good way. We all talk about Imax 2 and 3 that I think we sometimes forget how tough that one is. I will also do Gs Tri and Chest today. Have a super day everyone. Cheers!

Thank you all for the well wishes. I think I am finally turning the corner and may try a nice long walk tomorrow morning. You gals are THE BEST!!!!!!!

Sandra: I'm SO sorry about your kitty. Congratulations on your new house. That is remarkable that you are almost totally unpacked. I bet you and your DH are indeed exhausted. Yes, I'm dealing with the same back sprain. I rushed back into my workouts much too quickly first time around.

I just finished PLB stability ball floor work only and PUB abs. Now I am strapping on my MP3 and I'm out the door for a run.
 
All this hi\lo talk jogged my memory. When I first started doing Cathe WO's, I loved hi\lo and didn't like step. Now, my taste has done a 180. I love step and don't care for hi\lo. SJP hi\lo is OK but I don't like the last segment. Like anything else, it depends on my mood.

I've gotten a back workout hoisting buckets of water for my 75 gal aquarium. Every month I like to do a 20% water change.

Daily Check-in

I went to the club again this morning and jogged in the pool. I was running late and did not have time to check-in before work. My chest and biceps are sore from Supersets, and I only did the VHS version with one set of everything. I lifted heavy though. Wow! I cannot imagine how I will feel when I return to the Pyramids.

I have more to share but will save that for tomorrow.
