Daily check-In Wed (halfway there) 4-5

Good morning fitness folks.....

Yesterday was that fantastic circuit from SB/SJP, it was SB combos 1, 2, and 3 alternating with SJP weight segements, then abs. I'll post what these circuits consist of so anyone who wants to can note it on their Cathe Compendium. This is the 68 minute Step and Weight Circuit. I added the basic stretch from Total Body Stretching.


Today is KickMax. It's kickboxing day!! Of course, those wonderful LCD's!!

Today I'm doing GS C/T, CTX 10-10-10 and some ab work.

Good morning Tammy, Phyllis, Jane, Judy and all to follow. I had to get out of bed about midnight to take an advil. DOMS in shoulders was keeping me awake! Today is a cardio day, probably SB. Have a good one.

Today I was going to do KPC, but decided to make a change and just for fun will do w/u and cardio kickbox from Timesaver #4 and then leg floorwork from Legs and Glutes. And throw in Abs from KP&C

In case you haven't guessed it's LEG DAY!

Time to stop talking and start KICKIN' !!!

I did not workout this morning x( , I couldn't get up, I was too tired.

I will be doing PHH Abs after work though.

good morning all! I am feeling great today - I've had my parents at my house for the past week, and they finally left this morning (it's not that I don't like them, but you know how stressful it is having house guests) I finished doing 10-10-10 and am now sipping my first cup. Hope you enjoy that one Tammy- and do a few high kicks for me because my legs just weren't getting up there today!

I have a technical question that I don't know if anyone here can answer, or maybe I need to post it on the board, but do you all get email notifications when people post to this thread (after you have subscribed to it?) I click on the subscribe button, and it shows up in my subscription list, but I never get any emails. I just don't have time to come and browse through the boards, but I would like to keep up with certain threads. Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

Today is HSC + KickMax Hi intesity drills, and the corework I missed yesterday. I started my workout too late yesterday so I didn't have time to do the crunch part of kpc and the stability ball segment of PLB before I had to leave, and it was so late when I got home I decided to do it today.

Time for coffee!

Daily Check-in

I enjoyed the second segment of Total Body Stretching last night. It is my favorite. I made it through IMAX Extreme this morning plus the abs from Leaner Legs! IMAX Extreme is another fun and challenging workout, but I was not ready for genie hops and straddle taps again. Please tell me there are none of those in the Viper. Please, please, please. At least I had the sense to use a 4" step with no risers this morning.

Sandra, it is fun to know that we will be celebrating a fitness anniversary within a few days of each other! I have a lighter week planned for next week with Supersets and Push Pull, so I do not mind pushing myself a little harder this week. And actually, I was doing something like IMAX2 + Boot Camp earlier this year. The Terminator workouts are still not as extreme as that. Cathe repeats some of the exercises during the last cycle of the Gauntlet. I could skip that whole cycle next time and style get a great workout. I am feeling very wiped out right now, so I may change my mind tomorrow.

Pamela, I understand your disappointment about not being closer to your goal, but you are closer than you would have been if you never started last year! Happy birthday a day early in case I forgot tomorrow. I cannot imagine how anyone does Boot Camp twice in a row. Wow!

Annette, I will definitely keep you in my prayers. You are in a season of testing for sure. I am believing God to provide for you financially and in every other way. He knows what you need. Cling to the promise that He is faithful. Feel free to send me a PM if you ever need a friend.

Shelley, I am still praying for you too. I hope you are feeling better this morning. I thought of something else that helps me tremendously--writing in a journal. I have an online journal and a private journal, and both are very healing for me. When the temptation hits to stuff down my emotions with food, writing is a healthy way to express what I am feeling. Just getting my feelings out there relieves the desire to chew my way through the stress or pain. Seeing my thoughts in writing also makes it clear to me that eating will not help.

Carole, I am curious to know how much protein you eat and what sources of protein you prefer. I know that you do not eat meat. Do you eat dairy and eggs? I am not eating any animal protein right now. I feel great. My body is shedding the fat. I am just thinking ahead to when I want to start focusing on building muscle. You look very fit and athletic to me.

Yesterday I did Gauntlet followed by Circuit Max. Today I have to work all day then have a CPR class until 10:15. I think I'll just do a 5 mile walk home for my exercise. Have a good day.

Judy...I LOVE Cardio Coach! I've got all six volumes, with volume 6 being my new favorite, although volume 5 is still the hardest for me.
 
Morning ladies! Today was HSC and I am very excited to say that for the first time I did ALL the push ups on my toes! That's a first for me!:7 I HATE push ups!

Hey Everybody, I just finished a great workout. MMax then before the abs I popped in the step section of SJP and finished with MM abs and stretch. It was intense and fun and I'm ready for the day.

I haven't been on the daily check in for a while and thought I'd try to get back on track with sharing w/o's with all.

Annette, I hope you're having a better day today and feeling that the burden is a bit lighter.:)

Sandra, how are the Girls doing. May '97 was our chicken pox time. My Girls have fond memories of it, lots of popsicles and oatmeal baths.

Way to go Heather on Imax Extreme...that is a tough one. I don't remember if the genie hops are in the Viper or not??...Thank you for your kind words. No, I don't eat dairy. I have a couple of times used Egg substitute scrambled with veggies, but not very often. I don't keep track of how much protein I consume daily anymore. I am guessing about 60 grams a day. My main protein sources are soymilk, tofu, seitan, beans. There is alot more protein in certain veggies than people think...:)...The book "Eat to Live" by Joel Fuhrman started me on my Vegan way of eating...:)
