Good morning fitness folks!

Sorry I haven't been around. I took some time off last week a lot of which I spent helping DIL and son with Joseph when they got sick with a stomach virus. Then DD got it! We were all over there on Wed the 4th and they were already not feeling well and it went down hill from there the rest of the week.

I am goint to try to do the week four of the May rotation starting with SJP/Step Blast Wts and Step premix. I hope I don't have a heart attack!:eek:
 
Good Morning all!

Today was ME upper body split. FF's rotation also called for the arm drills from CK. I didn't want to do the power part of the drills, so the part I did wasn't very long.

Tammy, what DVD is " have no idea what I'm doing this morning" on? LOL

Jane, stomach viruses are aweful! Thankfully, Joseph didn't get it!

Conni, how is your DH? I hope you get some relief from your back pain soon!

Good Morning Girls!

I am running late and moving slowly this morning!
I'm getting ready to do Imax2 1-5 and abs.

We had so much fun with Brayden yesterday! He is a bundle of energy and is such a happy boy!
We took him to Indiana where my parents have a place at a campground they go to to get away sometimes. He LOVED the golf cart the best, so we drove him all over the place in it. He was in charge of sound effects (vrrrroooom , and beep-beep ) and sometimes steering !
We took him to the playground and just let him run all over the place.

It was an 11 hour day though and his NANA was BEAT!:p

I have him again today and am trying to figure out how I'm going to keep him occupied today! (no Indiana or golf cart possible today:-( )

I had a not so great night's sleep and then around 4, fell into a DEEP SLEEP and overslept until 5:50 , so now my morning feels rushed and so far, VERY unproductive!!

I better get busy and workout !!

Good Morning Folks.

I have an ITri on tap along with the GSBS&B timesaver. I am nervous about doing the ITri. It's LONG-70 mins and I've never done one. This should be interesting. I may not make it through the whole thing or I may just opt not to do the entire thing to begin with. I don't know...we'll see!

Tammy: So what did you decide on for today?

Jane: Welcome back! Oh the dreaded stomach virus! YUCK! How awful. Glad you didn't get sick. Have fun with your work out today. Welcome back!

Phyllis: Hope you enjoyed ME!

Becky: Awwww...how much fun it must've been to hang with your GS all day! I am SURE you were dog tired by the time he went home though!;-)

Glad that everyone seems to be doing so well this morning. I'm doing great too...even though the legs are still a bit sore. Like Tammy, I am doing the "not so sure yet" workout as well this afternoon. This morning was Chest & Back at the gym and the plan was to do sprints and stadium stairs this afternoon with DH but not sure if my legs will allow me. In which case, I will do either the LIC cardio only premix or LowMax. Hope everyone has a great day:7
 
Hi everyone!!

I am flying high this morning, doing some great meds, let me tell you. Dr. said I strained and pinched my lower back on the left side, and gave me some good meds to help it heal. It is still painful, but I sloughed through Firm It Up this morning. What I couldn't do on the one side I just didn't do. I will probably go back to upper body stuff tomorrow, I am really anxious to do some aerobics, even low impact, but that has to wait for now.

DH is doing pretty well, the heat really saps him, as any MS patient will tell you, so it gets hard. But he is hanging in there!

Everyone sounds busy and productive, Tuesday at its finest!
 
Hey Ladies,

Yesterday it was just too darn HOT to workout so I took a rest day. And while today is just as hot I couldn't go 2 days in a row not working out so I did (very slowly and with lots of rests, no a/c in our house with the exception of our bedroom) the Push/Pull premix off of MM for my workout. So I did get a workout in which was good. My weight has been stuck so I really needed to workout today.

Thankfully by the week's end it is supposed to be cooler.

ITri #8 is done! WOW! What a great cardio work out! It was rough going from the bike to the treadmill at the end but I LOVED IT! WOO HOO! }(

Gonna do GSBS&B in a few...

Christina: I will join you and Tammy on the "what the heck w/o do I do today?!" plan. Let me know how you make out! (the more dang DVDs I buy the harder it becomes to decide)

Conni: Does flying high help one through all of Body Max 2? I might try it! LOL! I do hope you are feeling better.

Annette: I've been a bit reluctant to work out with this heat as well. I might be moving in slow motion tonight. Last time I did a w/o int he heat I watching the steam rise off me like I was in a horror movie or something.

So I'm hoping to do a w/o and get myself out of this foul mood I've been in. It takes such a toll and makes me feel exhausted so moving and sweating would help. I hope you all have a great day!

Thanks for the welcome back gang.

I just finished SJP/SB step and wts premix. It didn't have abs so I added on the SJP abs. I needed abs! Good grief, at this point I need everything!

I did well on the cardio even after not working out for 12 days straight. The weights were a little tougher, no mystery there. 12 days, you are bound to lose strength. I think I pulled a right groin muscle but by tomorrow, my whole body is going to feel like a pulled muscle so I probably won't notice it}(

Oh the joys of the first few workouts after being lazy.
 
I ended up doing CTX Power Circuit because today is leg day and I like the interval leg work in that one. I added on some squats, lunges and wall squats with dumbbells and the stability ball. I also added on some ab work.

I am just now getting DOMS from yesterday's CST workout....YOWCH!!! If it cools down any I'll hop in the hot tub later.

Jane ~ Welcome Back! My niece had that stomach virus last week too....nasty! :( Did the kitchen demolition begin yet?

Phyllis ~ LOL! Do you have noodle arms now?

Becky ~ How did today go? You didn't fall asleep in your dinner dish, did you?

Not yet Tammy. They are scheduled to put them in on August 6 and 7th. I am having some sheetrock work done and painting so that comes first. I've also added under-cabinet lighting to my list. A friend told me it was a must, she loves hers.

Oh and I think I'm going with laminate wood flooring in the kitchen. I can buy the materials and have my son put it down with my husband's help. DS knows how to do it so if he gets to where being down there is too much on his back, he can supervise while DH does it (that should be fun since DH can't nail two boards together!) DS thinks he can handle him.:)
