DAILY CHECK IN Tuesday 6 September

Good morning all!

Yesterday was ME for me and I STILL can't up my weight on those darn biceps! Today will be Imax 3 and Coremax.

I have put together a rotation for myself using the August Bootcamp rotation and the March '05 Hardcore Muscle Endurance rotation. Hopefully it will help blast the 5 lbs I've gained back:( Along with much cleaner eating, of course!

Glad to see everyone is doing well:)

Morning Everyone,

Today will be Legs & Glutes and a segment of Coremax for me. I may look at one of the premixes. Am a little tired from the weekend, so it may just be the normal L&G.

Have a great day!

Good morning:

I'm on the September rotation now, and this morning did CTX Step and Intervals and Core Max 1 (the hardest, IMO). I am feeling drained again. Last week I took two rest days for the first time in months. I started noticing some symptoms of overtraining, and want to nip that. I came back from a rest day and did Body Max and felt fantastic. Then yesterday was LL. I worked out in the late afternoon over the holiday weekend, and then had a quick 12-hour turn to work out before work today. Starting to feel that fatigue again.

I had 3 cups of coffee and a diet coke all before 9:30!! x( x( x(

Hi all, I did CTX Kickbox cardio only then did the Power Drills off of Cardio Kicks for a longer kickboxing workout. This always works well for me. My hip is really bothering me lately and I think walking aggrevates (sp?) it so I guess I won't be taking walks anymore,;( . So at least when I workout at home I can modify my workouts to accommodate my hip and knee and feet, sigh, I am just getting old.:-(

Oh, and how do you runners get past all the shin splints? Just with my little bit of jogging I get horrible shin splints that hurt for days. Do you just have to work through them?

But for some reason kickboxing doesn't hurt my hip so I will continue to kickbox and limit my walking and stepping.

Ok, I have rambled on and rarely get any responses on this thread with these types of ramblings, so thanks for reading.:7

Have a great day!!:7

Hi,

This morning I did the cardio & weights premix off the new LIS/TBSculpting dvd. Good little workout.

When are we going to hear those announcements??

You're all working very hard. Keep up the great work!

Hi Annette, I've had shin splints only once (from the elliptical, would you believe). I had my PT treat it. To make sure I don't get them again, I do the tibialis exercise with the ball that Cathe does in GS legs at least twice a week. Plus the exercise where you walk on your heels only (toes off the floor pointing in the air). Haven't had them since.

Dutchie :)

Good Afternoon Fit Folks! I want to say Happy New Year because the kids are back to school and the ebb and flow of EVERYTHING changes around here:)

This morning I did PUB and then went off to work. It's been a while since I've done this one; my arms are feeling pretty shaky and I like it}( :7

Conni, that's cool that you did Franny 2202, I just got it today with my Cathe Low Impact Step and PH/MIS/BMax DVD, how do you like her w/o's,!!! I previewed a bit of the step portion and will give it a go tomorrow and add on some of Cathe's new stuff.

Annette, I'm sorry that your hip is feeling so tender, you've been working hard in the house and probably getting into all manner of strange postures doing your dry wall and renos. I'm not a big fan of the aging process eitherx( I hope you feel better soon!:)

Sandra, sounds like you're satisfied with your new w/o, I love doing new workouts that learning curve keeps my weary brain nimble :p I looked at some of the LIS and it all looks familiar but mixed up, should be fun!

Enjoy your day everyone!

Take Care
Laurie

Okay, workout done. Went to the gym. This has been working well since Aiden gets to play for a couple of hours and then konk out at home for a nap. That and I've been taking a break from heavy impact ala Cathe b/c of my hip. I'll get back to that soon.

I did 15 min running, 25 min elliptical, 10 min hard rowing, heavy upper body, abs, and squat machine. Not too bad. Finished in just under 2 hrs. Great workouts you guys. I'm dying to get GSL from what everyone is saying. Oh yeah and the rest of her collection ;)

My workout is done too. I did Coremax segment 1 and managed to do ALL the levitation holds:) Then I did Imax 3 and I gotta tell ya, those plie jacks are getting easier. I must be building up my quad muscles, which would explain why my legs are freakishly huge. *sigh* I'm never happy, huh?

I got through my w/o, no problem. I increased all the weights but had to back down a little on shoulders--my weakest area. DH and I plan on a walk after dinner. I need to keep up this motivation:) :)

Hey everyone!!

I hope you all had a nice Labor day weekned!

Yesterday, I did 30 minutes of HIIT on my Elliptical machine, and 20m minutes of staedy state cardio.

Today: Cathe: Leaner legs and some extra abs from P90X!

:)

Carole,

I like LIS a lot! It's a great calorie burner for a lower intensity work out! It's also easier on the brain as the choreography isn't as complicated as the more advanced work outs.

I think it's a great alternative when you don't want the tricky choreography or the super intensity that Cathe is famous for.

My knees have been bothering me on and off these days so I may be doing this one a lot for a while to give them a bit of a break from high impact.
