Daily check-in Tuesday 24 May

Hello fitness divas!! i did C/W at 9pm last night and today LM is on the books. I rearranged my workout room and it felt weird to be facing another direction! Also, i haven't done c/w in it's entirety in FOREVER, and since then i have started using risers, so needless to say, it kicked my ass! i love the music though!

Wendy: i am very glad to hear you are feeling better!

Dutchie: that is early! well done you!

Carole: loving the washing machine !!!

Good morning!

Today I managed to do a bit of everything! I did KPC w/u; combos 1-3; LG standing legs (this is KPC/LG premix #16). I followed that with Timesaver #2 back and core, which has footage from SJP, SS, bonus, and SB. It was a fun workout! The KPC/LG premix was a terrific one hour low-impact, high intensity workout.

Emily - I need that bottle of sunscreen strapped to me, too! I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago, and feel like an idiot. x( When you can smell your flesh burning, that's generally a sign that you should be wearing sunscreen!

Jes - you want some nagging and @ss chewings, do you? Okay! I have an eye on you.....I want to hear you did LM tonight! If not, then I will not send you the package that is sitting on my table begging to be brought to the post office.......

Angie - the pregnant lady can relate to how you were feeling yesterday! I hate those days! I hope you're feeling better today?

Carla - I love your incentive LOL! Creative! I hope it works!

Kristine - what a crappy morning for you! (pun fully intended!). That sounds like a terrible morning! I hope you can get your workout in tonight.

Connie - Cathe posted about this a long time ago and stated that DOMS doesn't always have to follow an effective workout. If you are feeling challenged enough during the workout, then don't worry about whether you are feeling sore the next day or not. There are a lot of masochists around here, though, who seem to relish DOMS, and go out of their way to get it ;-)

Wendy - I'm glad to hear you're recovering so well!!!!! That's very different for everyone. I can understand your desire to workout, but also how impossible that must seem at the current time. I remember that Cathe took 7 weeks off after the birth of her second baby, and it doesn't seem to have hurt her a bit. You'll be up and going before you know it! Try to enjoy this very special time in your child's life, and don't put pressure (guilt) on yourself to workout, unless you really feel ready. Putting you to shame would be impossible, my friend. You set a very high standard :)

Debbie - bronchitis *and* teething molars?? Poor Aiden!! Poor Mommy! Take good care.

Kristine- I woke up to dog poop as well! She pooped in my office and I just had it steam cleaned a month ago! Shewill be 15 in september and does lose control sometimes. I am mad at me as I normally shut the door to my office when I go to bed!

Dutchie-getting cardio out of the way first thing is an awesome feeling.

Charlotte-I ditto the question about if we don't get DOMS does it mean we arent getting results.

Today I will be doing a step workout for cardio, abs from abhits, then most likely legs and glutes from fittv.

I swear sometimes we are all clones of one another....I was wondering the same thing about DOMS this morning.

And Kristine - my cat puked on the floor this morning during my Step Blast workout! I had to pause and clean it up. BLECHHHH!!!! It seems like I often wake up to unpleasant animal surprises.....

Good morning everyone!!!

I'm back at work and so back into a routine. It seems that not sitting on my butt all day at work last week, doing good workouts, gardening and going for walks and hikes helped combat all the junk I ate, because my pants are really loose today! I'm still scared to weigh myself at the end of this week though.

Yesterday I did Step Blast and KPC abs.

Tonight is Kickmax Bootcamp Challenge and either MM or ME upper body and core.

Overslept this morning, woke up with a headache too.:(

But after taking something for the headache I did PS Shoulders and Triceps, IMAX 1 and abs off of MIS!!:) :D Very nice long workout!! I am actually starting to see a muscle in my shoulder!!! I have been waiting a LOONNNNNGGG time for my shoulders to show some definition and now they are just starting too!! I am soo happy!!:7

Funny how I can do IMAX 1 and my feet don't fatigue but if I do a straight all step with no interval workout my feet fatigue something fierce :eek: ?!?! I really don't understand it.

Anyway I hope everybody has a great day!!:D

That's a pretty hefty workout for a good day, but when you're not feeling well....?!?!? Girl, I don't know how you do it!!

I hope you feel better very soon. Tell your stomach you were just kidding.
