Waky waky everyone,

Did PS-UB this morning. After, I went on a 9K run. I battled sudden rain, wind gusts, hail,, and to top it all of I had my first encounter with runners diarrhoe (sp?). Jeez, I took the shortest way home and only ran 7K. I've had to jump in the bushes on occasion, but this has never happened before. It totally ruined my run.

Good Morning Ladies,

Last evening: PowerMax and floor work and stretch from Legs and Glutes.
What a fun workout PowerMax is. I think its the most fun step workout I've tried by Cathe. The hour goes by so fast.

Weight work on schedule this evening.

Hi ladies :)
Yesterday was frustrating fo me. I did not get any workout in, so it became my rest day I switched my week aroud. Today will be the IMAX I should have done yesterday.

I found out my time for my first 5K. It was 28:16. The course was flat except for an incline during third mile (Yuck). I'll probably try again. The next race around here is very hilly, so I'll need to prepare. perhaps an IMAX workout weekly in addition to the 3 runs will help? and more hills on my runs? I really don't know what I am doing, LOL

So last night was the first premix of Step Blast. First work out after 3 days off. It felt great! I just love SB!

Yesterday I was out in the garden most of the day. Still hauling rocks by the wheelbarrow full from one end of the yard to the other. It is just taking forever to get all the rocks out. Just like doing squats though with weights and getting a lower body/cardio workout in one. Did PUB last night, but should have done so in the morning as I was too tired and couldn't do my best.

Today will be just Core Max #1 as I still have to get out in the garden again today. Will use sunscreen today. LOL

Dutchie- eat some bananas and apples for me, o.k.? Sorry your run was messed up. I remember when I went to run and the neighbors dog was chasing me everywhere and then the lady wanted me to get the dog back in the yard for her. Geez!

That's a terrific time Judy!! I'm way out of your league :D

I'd definitely add more hills to your run if your next race is very hilly. Imax will certainly help you.

I always run up an overpass over the highway on my way home and I accelerate every 50 meters. Sofar, this has been very helpful in hilly race courses. And about twice per month I pick a route where I have to run two bridges at the beginning of my run. And I do 2 30min sessions of Imax2 each week. It seems to work for me.

Good Morning ladies!

ME is on schedule for today - yikes!

Yesterday was BootCamp and I hadn't done it in a VERY long time. I was amazed at how much better I did! This workout previously held a dread factor for me because I found it really hard. In the past I couldn't wait for it to end. Yesterday, I couldn't believe it when the 8th cycle was finished. So, I am making fitness strides.

OH no Dutchie I'm way out of YOUR league! I'm nowhere near running 7K!!!

Yikes, I am sorry about the bowel problem. I fear it myself. Currently my problem is 'number 1' if you know what I mean. Birthing 4 kids didin't help my pelvic floor much, LOL
OK, enoug stalling I must head downstairs to do IMAX3! TTFN!

Good morning!

Yesterday, I ended up having a friend over from work for a workout, and I did P90X Chest, shoulders and Tricpes ABR X before she came over and then I did Circuit Max with her...man were my arms deader than dead..LOL I have major DOMS today!!! She usually does the firm at home and she was amazed how much better and how much more intense Cathe is in comparison...LOL another Cathe fan is born!!

Today:
P90X: Plyometerics and GS legs 39 minute premix.

I did nothing yet, I wanted to do weight work this morning, but couldn't get out of bed x(

Well, now I just have to do it after work hopefully.

I am torn between ME, MM or MIS? Any suggestions which one I should do?

I am sure tired this morning and can't get woke up! :eek:

Last night I did the Bootcamp warm up and cardio only premix and MM upper body and core.

Today is Imax 3. Maybe. I'm so fickle:p
 
Good morning all! Sorry your run wasn't so great Dutchie - it will be better next time (can't possibly get any worse, right? :) )

This morning I did Step, Jump, & Pump.

I almost put in Bootcamp, but I am afraid to try it. I'm afraid I'll die, or at least have an annuerism. ;) Ok, my fears may be unfounded. I may start with some of the premixes and ease myself into doing the whole thing.

Last night I did Plyo X. This morning shoulders, arms, abs & Glutes.

I had my breakfast, oatmeal with protein, flax seed, and blueberries.

Wendy...still doing great workouts! I liked that 8 month pic, you didn't keep it as your avatar long though...I do like your dog pic...:)

Charlotte....I am hoping to get some Yardwork done too.

Judy..great time for a 5K!!! I agree with Dutchie and add more hills to your run if there are more hills in the next race. You could also try a hill repeat technique: find a hill, run up hard and walk down, then repeat that as many times as you can. Do a good running warm-up though.

Oh Dutchie, I forgot to mention that I can COMPLETELY sympathize with your problem. Sometimes I barely make it homex( And forget running, I have to walk, clenching the whole time. Oh well, I guess it's a good workout for my glutes:+

This morning I did the SB combos 1-3, circuited with the SJP weight segments (SB/SJP Premix #7). That's such a great workout. I love that dvd; so versatile!

Jes - great workout yesterday! That weight work in the May rotation looked rather intimidating. Glad to see you survived half of IM3!

Katie - nice to see you post! I hope that cyst situation gets resolved soon. I didn't know they were advising you to take it easy. That sucks :-(

Cathy - PowerMax was one of my first Cathe workouts (along with Step Jam and Step Works). I like to do it for the nostalgia factor. I remember how *hard* those power scissors were for me, way back then. Then I bought IMAX....:)

Wendy - great minds think alike! I'm still trying to figure out some low-impact modifications for that workout; the footwork is a bit tricky.

Judy - that's a time to be proud of! I've got quite a few 5Ks under my belt, and always ranged between 25-30 minutes. Hill repeats like Carole suggested are dynamite for improving your cv fitness and leg endurance.

Tammy - seeing progress is very motivating, isn't it? Good work!

Kristine - I personally would go for MM, because it's so new (to me, anyway). ME is lots of fun, but I've done it a thousand times. And I find MIS to be, ah, boring. So, that's my suggestion :)

Emily - HALT!! Do not attempt the premixes on BC, until you are comfortable with doing the workout as is. The premixes are *harder*! Don't be afraid of BootCamp. You can keep it on the easier side by going light with your weights, and "cheating" a bit on the cardio by not squatting as deep, etc. You can also hit "pause" whenever you want! Or even do only half the workout. It's a really fun workout, and just flies by! Give it a go! "You can do anything for a minute!"

This evening I will go for a run.

Charlotte-can you take some pics of your garden and put them up? I would love some ideas! Your garden souds so beautiful! Also, my boys would like to plant some trees in our new yard, for sentimental purpose.:) Do you know what types of trees grow fairly quickly?

Shelley-I know you love to design your home. So do I, so can you take some pics and put them up? I really want to see and get some ideas. I bet you have great taste!:) I would like some paint colors that I wouldn't get tired of too quickly.

Hi, sorry it is so late, I am playing catch up here at work, DH had surgery yesterday, had to get up and work out at 3:00 am! I did it, though, Imax 2 1-5 premix and ab hits.
Today was PH, had to do a shorter workout to stay close to hubby if he had any issues.
