just a quickie to start us off - I think I will do something totally new to me. I'm trying a Jillian Michaels WO from fit TV. BBL with a report.

Hi Phyllis. This is your rest week, right ?? :D ENJOY!!:D Let us know how you like that workout please . I wanted Jillian's SHRED workout, but went back to Sam's to get it and it was gone !
I have one of Bob's workouts and like it. Of course it's less intense then Cathe, but I expected that .

Today is cardio & abs and I'm thinking TM .......CC or iTread.

Upper body is feeling yesterday's workout.

Good morning Phyllis and Becky and all that follow...

Today is MIC and I sure need some kick butt cardio... still battling some extra pounds from my not so good food choices from Easter and while I was off work.

I did MIC in the last rotation I did so it has been at least a month since I've done it. I really need something like this to jump start my cardio this week....MIC will definitely do it!

Annette - condolences to you regarding your father's death.

Becky,I did a 20 min shred workout and I did like it. It consisted of 3 circuits - 3 mins cardio, maybe 2 mins weights and then abs. Nothing too intense - just right for a recovery week!She's funny and I enjoyed her comments.I followed it with some light yoga and a little ab work.

Jane I'm in the majority that don't like MIC - too intense for me. I always seem to get side cramps. :( Anyhow, you enjoy!

Tammy, good luck at the eye dr's. New prescription?

I'm taking Lanie(new kitty) to the vet today to be spayed. I won't have her back until Fri. I'm afraid that this will set her back some in her socialization. She is still hiding under my bed but she does come out occasionally. It's gonna be a long time before I can cuddle her.:(

Tammy - I am doing the April 09 rotation, but with a little tweaking here and there depending on my time frames...

Phyllis - I hope your kitty gets through the vet "visit" okay....:eek:

Jane - I am also not a big fan of MIC, did it last month and it was okay...just not the reason I bought the dvd, you know?

Today was PLB, and then I did BG stability ball abs.

I am determined to clean up my eating, I just feel like a beached whale lately!
 
Phyllis, I get fitTV but have never seen Jillian on there ?? What day or time did you find her show ?

NOT a good workout for me today. I chose StepWorks ......and got about 15 minutes into it and it was like I had never done cardio before. I was excessively sweaty, out of breath and feeling nauseous. I tried modifiying with all low impact but it didn't help at all......so I stopped.
I have no idea what that's about......I feel fine while not working out.
I did do pilates abs and added on a few minutes on the ab lounger.
On the lounger I started sweating again.......
I hope I'm not coming down with something, but like I said, while not exercising I feel fine.
I'm disappointed not to get my cardio in, but don't feel like it was smart to push it.

I dont' care much for MIC either, and can't imagine if I'd tried to do THAT today !!!

Hello Everyone :)

Today is the 'weekend' from my workouts as I end up scheduling my off days when dh is off from work.


Hope all had a lovely weekend. Not much here went on except that I did have some cake and ice cream which my stomach was not too happy about:eek:

Hi gals, this is my most likely last workout for the week since we are leaving tomorrow morning for NC.

I did 35 min. of a taebo workout with weighted gloves on for added intensity since I don't have the bands. It was a nice workout but now I have to pack and take the dogs to get their kennel cough so they can enjoy their vacation from the family,LOL!!

Tammy, yesterday was pretty good, rushed but good.

Thanks everyone in regards to my father's passing. He actually passed on March 8th but due to extenuating (sp?) circumstances we couldn't get around to burying the ashes and having the graveside till now. There was a funeral in NH where he was living that we flew up for on the 14th of March. We flew up on my birthday for that(13th). The last 2 months have been very stressful with other things going on too.

Okay... MIC isn't the most leg friendly workout and the day after STS Legs - disc 6!! and those one-legged sit-n-stands.... geezzz... what was Cathe thinking!!? I thought I'd die doing those side squats off the side of the step over and over the step on combo two of the step portion!:eek::eek:
