Daily Check In: Thursday, May 19, 2005

Good morning everyone!

I'm late checking in today because I had all these freakin' meetings to go to. Don't these people understand that I need to check in with my Cathe friends before I can go to boring meetings? ;)

This morning I did Bootcamp for the first time and it was AWESOME! WOW! I had been scared to try it because I was afraid I might die. LOL! But it was really quite doable. And FUN! Will definitely do this one on a regular basis. :D

I meant to say biceps ...Not triceps but I am sure you all knew that :) I just finished lowmax. I love that one!

Sandra, sorry to be late on your question! Sue got it right on. Z pack seems to be the "cure all" from docs these days for all infections. I didn't really want to jump on anything but after 3 or 4 days it wasn't getting any better. He also gave me a script for Robitussin w/ codeine. I never even got through my last bottle from last year. That stuff makes you craaaaazy loopy. Why oh why prescribe me that when you see I have a 1 year old - DUH! ;)

Hi everyone. I have just seen the episode III of star wars. What a fun film. I recommend it a lot. The best of the three presequels for sure. The star war fans will enjoy the fall of Anakin Skywalker on the dark side. He falls for love and that is a great way to explain why he saves his son in the return of the Jedy.Have a great day everybody.

Good afternoon fellow Catheites,

I deviated from my rotation a bit today and gave IMAX 2 a try. Rotation called for Cardio and Weights, but my legs just couldn't do another weight workout. I think 3 days in a row is a bit much, what do you think?

Whoa Momma, IMAX2 kicks serious butt! Rock on! }( :p I really liked it! I've been reading the forums and it seemed to me that the consensus was the IMAX 2 was the easiest (I use this term very loosely! :7) of the IMAXs, and that's why I tried it. Thank goodness I only had FitTVs version! LOL

I love it!! Of course, I struggled some with the footwork (did alot of rewinding!) and I had to lower the intensity during some of the intervals and STILL had to take a few breaks during them. }( :7

Still...I'm amazed at how much of this evil workout I actually could handle! :+ Go, me! ;)

Now it's time for a couple of showers (surely all of this sweat won't wash off with just one! lol), and then CookMax.

Connie :D

That's alot of flowers, Judy! Bet your yard is full of glorious color! :)

I'm a amateur gardening. This year I've got 2 gardens, one is a container veggie garden and the other is a mix of containers of veggies and flowers and herbs in a raised bed. I just love to garden! The whole process is fascinating and miraculous to me. :D

I'm always glad to meet fellow gardeners!

Hi Sandra! :)

Indeed, y-day's leg workout was intense! Bear in mind that I don't use nearly as much weight as Cathe does and I'm not quite up to doing all the reps in all the sets, so it sounds worse than it really was. And my workouts are off FitTV. LOL Still...I was walking a bit carefully and funny this morning! My butt is still a bit tender...think I might do StretchMax this evening after Without a Trace and before BedMax. ;)

Great workout for you today! Rock on, mom!

Connie :D

Thanks for the movie review!! :) I'm planning on seeing next week- after I've watched Episode II. lol I'm a bit behind with my movies.... *blush* LOL

Sandra, the evaluation went well, it was waaaay longer than it should have been because of interruption on my evaluators part, but it went well. Thanks for asking.

Today ended up being a rest day today but I figured as much, we went to the bank to sign loan papers this morning, then went grocery shopping in the afternoon, then I was to go to the doctor later in the afternoon but I witnessed a horrible car accident to I didn't make it to the doctors. I stayed around to give my statement and to try and calm the driver of the at fault vehicle. He broke both legs and was pinned in the car and his door was also jammed shut. Then by the time all the rescue vehicles got there I was blocked in and couldn't go anywhere but back the same direction I had come from.:( My adrenaline is really pumping, so I am pretty sure if I had made it to the doctors' my blood pressure would have been waaaaaaaaay too high!!:+

Hope every body else had a calmer day!!:D
