Tonight: Back and shoulders on schedule but I may sub it for leg work.

Good morning fitness folks,

Last evening was LowMax (first time) and it was great. I really like that workout. I burned 557 calories with that w/o. Woohooo!! I needed it after Carrabba's!!

What should I do today? Since last Friday, I've done...

Fri - IMAX2, 25 min. upper body segment from BodyMax & abs
Sat - ran 3.25 miles, walked 1 mile
Sun - 40 minutes of Coremax and 20 min stretchmax
Mon - just abs, rest day
Tues - ME, step combo from SJP and SB (40 min)
Wed - LomMax

What do I need now? Feeling very indecisive today.
 
Good Morning Everyone!

No workout for me this morning, because I have a morning appointment for a root canal;( . At this point I just want to have it OVER WITH!
The dentist thought I only needed a crown and I went to have it but after 4 shots they couldn't numb it and I felt each time she attempted to drill. OUCHx( !! So she sent me to a surgical specialist for a root canal. I am wondering how he is going to numb it and thinking.....is it possible they'll put me to sleep??
So even though no one warned me that might happen, I figure better safe than sorry and I won't eat this morning.......and won't work out or I will want LOT'S OF WATER!!
Think there's any chance I will feel good enough later in the day for a workout?? If I do, S & H bi's and tri's are on my rotation. And a walk too.

Everyone have a great day and just think, whatever you're doing, it's probably better than a root canal. ;-) ha!
 
Also, if there is an infection or abscess near the tooth, the pH will be acidic and novacaine and other local anesthetics won't work. Did he/she give you an antibiotic? Good luck!

It is going to be the perfect summer day here, I wish I had it off from work.

Jane: I love LowMax too. I am covered in sweat from head to toe when I finish that workout. It is so deceiving!

Good morning all!

Last night I did Imax Extreme off the Terminator DVD, skipping the weight segments, as I'd done ME the night before. It didn't feel like a hard enough workout for me.

Tonight, Lowmax is on the schedule, plus some core.

Hello, Ladies!

I am feeling so good today! I am allowed to do cardio again! I really missed it, but I am pleased with the muscle I have aquired. I will definitely do an all weight rotation again.

Last night I went for a run. Today I did Complete core and Imax 3.

I started doing Cathe seriously on May 25, and I finally got the guts to weigh myself today and I have lost 3lbs!! So now I am even more motivated:D (if that's possible).

Yikes! I missed two days of reding the forums and I feel like I've been gone forever. I came back to high heals and thong surveys...

OK, we are 2 days away form our big grqaduation party and 3 from the bridal shower. We are doing OK and I haven't missed a workout. I really appreciate the HIIT 30" cardio sessions becausae, I feel very well worked out in a minimal amount of time.

my plan for this week has been:

Monday- CTX UB and abs
Tuesday-short intense cardio & legs
Wednesday-short intense cardio & abs
Thursday-circuit day
Friday-Low Max & abs
Sat- Yoga

I'm sticking to it. I'll choose a circuit WO when I get to my WO room.

I'm getting very sentimental about my son leaving for college. Yesterday the remake song of 'House at Pooh Corner' was on in the car and I was openly crying. My big highschool graduate and Boston College Freshman was a huge Winnie the Pooh Fan in his toodler days and I couldn't help but wonder where 17 years went?

TTFN and good day to all, I'm not sure I'll be checking in much over the next several days. But I'll stick to my workouts. I hope everyones else does too!

Hi good morning, no exercise yesterday. I had problems using the P90X resistance band in the door to do pushpulls. I will do Plyo X today and TAEBo if I have enough energy. Have a great day everybody.

Morning Everyone,

On the schedule for today is PS L&A and a run.

Our softball game was a good one, but we lost. I like playing the close ones. The only problem was the muggy weather. Just dripping last night. I'm just thankful for the a/c in the car on the way home.

Have a day off of work tomorrow, so this is my Friday! Have tickets for the races this weekend.

Good workouts ladies!

Becky...good luck with the root canal. I've had 4, but its been awhile. I was lucky as a couple of my teeth hurt so bad that the root canal took the pain away. Don't know if they will put you to sleep, but they might. It's painless that way!!

Jane...how about a run? Are your legs doing good?

Tammy...have fun with the Hardcore Ex workout. Those are tough..

Shelly...I always did Imax Extreme without the weights as I just wanted a long cardio.

I am doing freestyle legwork, abs, 4 mile run and shoulders, bi's and tri's. Hot again here, supposed to be about 93!

Morning Carole... I was considering a run but it is suppose to be 90 degrees here in NC today. I may check the humidity level later in the evening and see if I can take it. Even at 7 p.m. here the temp doesn't drop that much.

I would love to get in a run. If not, I may do MIC. Haven't done that in a while and thinking I'm needing some pure cardio today. I remember how bad MIC is!!!
 
Good Morning.

Thank goodness my horrible DOMS has subsided so today I will do CTX triceps and abs and a cardio...probably a step blast premix. I haven't done that one since I've gotten back to working out and I really like it. Who DOESN'T like Step Blast, right!? lol

It's gorgeous outside! I will be taking my baby boy out for a stroll at some point today. Yesterday after dinner I took my puppy for a walk. I think I will try to do that more frequently as I know DH and I haven't been giving Clyde the usual amount of attention since Joey arrived. :-(

I'm sure it's a sight when I do those! Even if I'm doing them right it still looks ridiculous!

Judy, my sons are only 7 & almost 6 and that song makes me cry! I can only imagine how you feel about your son going away. I remember when my older brother went years ago.
Hang in there and put him in God's hands and you'll both be fine.:)
Check in when you have time if you need some support!

This morning was Low Max step-only premix and Core Max #1. I was originally going to do GS Legs, but I am still having a little DOMS in my legs, so figured I should hold off till tomorrow. The lovely UPS man delivered my shiny new Ryka Rhythm II's yesterday, so I got to put them to the test this morning with all those pivots and mambo cha-chas. They were great! Yee haw! :D

Jane...I doubt I'd run in the humidity myself! We are not too bad here in Calif. MIC would definitely be comparable to a run!!! Go for it...:)...Carole
 
Well aren't I just pleased as punch with myself today? I was so tired yesterday, and I blamed it on 100% circuit workouts this week. I had planned to substitute something else for BC. But... I went to bed super early (before 9) and actually slept the whole night without waking up. I felt good this morning and decided just force myself to do Boot Camp. It felt great! So I'm so happy and it has put me in a better than usual mood today!

It was already 80 degrees at 7:30 today, plus very humid! Gonna be a hot one!
