Good morning,
This morning I did Rhythmic Step, and Basic Step abs add-on. My legs were still toast from LL yesterday, so RS felt surprisingly gruelling. I modified much of the impact, and still worked up quite a sweat.
Laurie - thanks for telling me about your 3 jobs. You sound like you enjoy your work very much. I think I remember the building you're working in, the spa one. Kingston has beautiful architecture; I miss that here in Edmonton. You can't find a brick house to save your life. Poor Paris has quite the UTI It takes her about 25 minutes of sitting on the toilet, crying, before she'll finally go pee, because she's so scared of the pain. I'm hoping the antibiotics have kicked in by this morning, and she'll have a better day than yesterday. Cool that you have the 25# dumbell! I was using one for those same exercises, until a few months ago. And like you, every time I do those pullovers I feel kind of nervous. How's your ankle?
Kim - did you manage to motivate yourself yesterday? When I get that way, I do what Shelley mentioned. I also pick my most favourite workout, regardless of what I "should" be doing for the day. Anything is better than nothing, in my book.
Tammy - running and KM blasts! Wow! Quite a workout!
Wendy - my goodness, what kind of bug was this?
Jane - I can see how LM and ME on consecutive days would really challenge the lower body. Good work!! Do you have KPC or KM? That would be my suggestion for today; a good cardio workout that gets you off the step for a day.
Becky - good luck with that root canal!!! Last fall I had a miscarriage. Two weeks after the miscarriage an ultrasound showed that there was still some tissue in my uterus that needed to be removed surgically (D&C). I was prepared to go in for the surgery on the Saturday morning, so on Friday morning I got up at 5am, and did IMAX intervals 1-5, and Leaner Legs. I had just finished my workout and was on the verge of gulping down a huge cup of water when my doctor phoned and told me they wanted to do the surgery that very day. I was instructed to not eat or drink another thing. I pleaded to be able to drink my water (I was quite dehydrated!), but she said "no, no, no!!". So I didn't get another thing in my system until 4pm that day. Believe me, if I had known I'd be going under a general anasthetic that day, I'd never had done a workout in the morning!
Kali - excellent job on the 3lbs, and on doing the CW core work! I love that segment.
Judy - enjoy all your celebrations!
Wendy - I can't speak highly enough about SB! Enjoy!
Foodie Sue - glad you had so much good energy today! BC is fun!
Suzanne went off to Victoria a couple of weeks ago, and we haven't heard from her since. I hope it's because she's enjoying herself so much. I know she usually checks in, regardless of where she is.
Have a great day everyone.
Sandra
