Hi Missy, obviously I do not know your dog but it sounds like it might be kidney disease or possibly hyperthyroid. If it is, it is very treatable. (my 16 year old cat has been living with renal failure for almost four years now. Quite comfortably.) Please keep us posted on what the vet has to say and myself and Mouser Moo are sending you healthy vibes today! Yes, as Linda says, we are all animal lovers and friends around here.My dog is a chocolate lab, aged 11, named Tory. She used to drink A LOT of water. We had to start limiting it. All of a sudden she's not drinking at all. She only peed once yesterday. She doesn't want to go outside. I started putting water in her bowl with her food. That seems to have helped....she was more perky this afternoon. She's also lost weight recently even though I'm feeding her the same amount.
AG: sorry about your s-i-l. I have a couple of friends who are losing their dads, and I lost a high school friend this week. Very upsetting! Will be praying for your s-i-l.
