Blaaaahh! Seems the stomach bug has hit New York! I tried a Cathe Live this morning. Couldn't do it so I simply got on the floor and tried to stretch. Tomorrow's another day. Hope everyone is well!!

Sorry, tlc, that you are feeling bad. I pray that you will feel better tomorrow.

Today I once again tweaked my disco circuit workout for tomorrow 's class (50 minutes or so), I need to retype it now.

Then I did 32 minutes of Taebo, next week I can focus on my own workouts more since the new workout will be finished and tried out in tomorrow's class.

Have a great day!

Sorry you are sick tlc, that sucks.

I have an intense hour ride today..drills....

I might work on the Seasun workout on a 4" step. I have a program to write for class, cleaning and my dog is sick, I don't think she's going to make it. I'm taking her to the vet in the morning.

(((Missy Hiett))) I am so sorry to hear about your dog. What is their name? and what is going on with them? :(

Hi everyone, I did a 30 min. Step blasts Bootcamp circuit blender mix this evening. Missy, I am so sorry about
Your doggie, you are among dog/cat lovers here, I have a doggie, so does Ceci, and Elsie has her best buddy,
Mouser, her kitty, so we all are pulling for your doggie, I hope things will be ok. I am so very sad right now, my
Sister in law, has had cancer for a couple years, but ladies, I believe the end is very, very, soon. I just can't get
My thoughts around it, she was doing very good for her condition, but last Friday, things turned quickly and
Drastically . Such a sad, sad time. Everyone take care....

My dog is a chocolate lab, aged 11, named Tory. She used to drink A LOT of water. We had to start limiting it. All of a sudden she's not drinking at all. She only peed once yesterday. She doesn't want to go outside. I started putting water in her bowl with her food. That seems to have helped....she was more perky this afternoon. She's also lost weight recently even though I'm feeding her the same amount.

AG: sorry about your s-i-l. I have a couple of friends who are losing their dads, and I lost a high school friend this week. Very upsetting! Will be praying for your s-i-l.

Poor puppy, take her to the vet. We have lost 2 labs very close together in the last 5 years, one elderly and the other one only 7 and she had cancer. Losing pets is never easy.

Hi Missy, obviously I do not know your dog but it sounds like it might be kidney disease or possibly hyperthyroid. If it is, it is very treatable. (my 16 year old cat has been living with renal failure for almost four years now. Quite comfortably.) Please keep us posted on what the vet has to say and myself and Mouser Moo are sending you healthy vibes today! Yes, as Linda says, we are all animal lovers and friends around here.

Oh, Linda, I am so very sorry that you & your family are experiencing the pain of f#%!ing cancer now. I lost a loved one to stomach cancer last month. (((take gentle care))) It cannot be easy.

Hi ladies,

I am late with my check in... once again. Sorry.

Linda - so sorry to hear about your s-i-l. Cancer is so horrible and unfortunately more and more people, friends and family get cancer sooner or later. Here in the NL, we say "sterkte", which means strength... hoping you and your dear ones will be strong dealing with these hard times.

Missy - I don't have a dog, haven't had one since the one I had growing up. She passed away in 2006 and I still dream about her and even wake up in tears when I realize I will never see her again. I feel your pain. I hope she pulls through.

Thursday I did a bit of everything it seems.

1) Shelly Dose - 20min TRX and dumbell w/o. Oh my!!! I think I have had my suspension trainer for over a year and only tried it once. This w/o was killer. I was seriously fighting with the suspension trainer every time my feet had to get in there for the planks. At the end of it I realized I had only burnt 150 cals while feeling completely knocked out, despite having modified some exercises. I hope it's a learning curve, althought it may be a while before I try it again. Anyways after this w/o... I wanted to do something more fun.
2) KCM - 22min step(boxing) on her Strength & Stamina dvd. I have yet to try the real S&S w/o, I just did the bonus step part. Quite fun and defnitely a better cal burn! I definitely still prefer Cathe's step w/o's, but this was also good/fun and it's good to have some variation.
3) Leslie Sonsone - 13min Power Surge Express Walk at home. So basically I started with the highest impact and kept going easier. Leslie's w/o's are more for when I am not really feeling up for intense stuff, but still need to move. I gave my mom 5 dvd's of her's for x-mas and got the same for myself, but I had not yet done any of them myself. Not sure if I will return to them again any time soon. Not really my cup of tea!
4) Last but not least... I rowed for 5min on the waterrower. I need to get into a rhythm of rowing more, now that we actually have a rower. I will just need to watch Netflix at the same time. I wanted to row minimum 1km in my 5 minutes, so I was quite exhausted by the end of it, seeing I did the rowing after the other 3 things.

So all in all a good and varied workout. Today (Friday) I really feel my upper body from the first workout.

Have a good day and "sterkte" to you ladies going through hard times!
