Daily Check-in Sunday April 2

Well I forgot to set my clocks forward which is no big deal since I wake up at 5 in the weekend morning anyway. But I did make it to 5:45 this morning only to remember it was actually 6:45!! I'm going to feel that hour for the next few days, but I will enjoy the longer days.

Yesterday was LowMax, that w/o gets me every time.

Today I have S&H Legs and Shoulders on top. I want to add a power walk since it is going to be 80 degrees here today and beautiful. They were calling for rain in our forecast for this weekend but other than raining Friday night after midnight and stopping before sunrise on Saturday, it hasn't materialized. We need the rain soooo bad!

Have a great Sunday fitness folks!

Good morning Jane and all who follow.

Maybe some others forgot about the time too...:)

I picked up the Smart Clock Radio last year and I love it as it automatically changes during daylight savings!!

Enjoy S&H Jane, I really like those workouts. I would love to send you our rain as I think we might have had 2 sunny days in March! Looks like more is on the way...:(

I am doing a tough 16 mile trail run today..

Have a great sunday...:)

Hi, ladies. Incredibly, I remembered to do my clocks last night. I usually forget! LOL

I'm checking in here until I find out where the "get ready for summer" rotationers are posting....HOPE you don't mind!

I was up early this morning and did a 10 mile run on the treadmill. Happy with it, came in right at 90 minutes. I kept intervalling the speed to keep things interesting and to simply push myself.

Have an AWESOME SUNDAY!

Gayle

Good morning Jane and Carole and all who follow.

Carole, sending dry weather vibes your way, and I hope you enjoy your run! :)

Jane, hope you get adjusted to the loss of that hour sooner than you expect. :)

Today is a rest day on the schedule, but since I just had one on Wednesday, and also since I prefer to take them during the week rather than the day before weigh in:p , I'm doing Monday's workout today which is a 5mile run. I've never run 5 miles before so I'll post later how many miles I actully complete.

Have a great day!
Pamela

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today I'm going to do CC#6 on my treadmill and then AbRipperX.

Jane: Enjoy your warm weather, we are supposed to have a great sunny day too!

Carole: Enjoy your trail run.

Gayle: Great job on your treadmill run.

Pamela: Good luck on your run.

Hello to all that follow...have a great day!

Hi, everyone -

It's humid and cloudy here. I need to get back out and work in the yard today, but it keeps raining sporadically, so I guess I'll find something to do inside.

Today is cardio, either SB or LM, along with GS-legs and one of the Core Max abs.

Bad news. It looks like I'm going to have to eliminate running from my cardio selection. ... again. I'm really put out by this. I only let myself run once a week, due to prior knee problems, and that schedule had been working fine. But lately my knees have really been bugging me after a run, and this morning, both of them ache continually. I only ran 4 miles yesterday! Oh well. Thank goodness step doesn't bother them. I'd rather be limited to step and still keep my knees, thank you very much.

Hi Ladies...

Rest day here!

Have fun w/all of the great work outs you guys have planned!

Check ya later!;)

Good morning all! I did not forget to change my clocks,as a matter of fact I nagged the pants of everyone about it - just a little OCD.

Today was the 3 set upperbody push pull premix. I haven't done PP since, well I can't remember. I did enjoy the premix. I think I remember that the WO alone was too easy. After the premix, I did Ajocks cool ab mish mosh using the long step. I don't think I'm feeling it as much as she did. I had a difficult time finding the correct spot on the long bench. It was difficult trying to keep my lower back down - my back is weak anyway. Anyone elso do this?

It's gorgeous weather here! I have a baby shower this afternoon and then I hope to get outside. Phyllis

Hi everyone!!

No problem with the time change today as I'm an early riser anyway and I LOVE this time of year/days staying light longer, etc.. !!

Yesterday I did a treadmill run and AbRipperX, today I'm going hiking and think I'll do a stretch workout too.

70 and sunny here today!:D Hope everyone has a nice Sunday!!

Hi
Jane & Phyllis you have nice signatures!

Today is rest.
Tomorrow I stat my April one body part per day rotation. It is posted under it's own thread. I'll check in here for encouragement ( giving and taking!) unless a new thread gets started. :7

Judy,

Becky and I are doing one body part per day. We are starting our fifth week this week. I really like it!!

I just finished a 2 mile run and then I just went into my power walk, total of an hour and 12 minutes. I still have S&H Legs and Shoulders to do. I'm on it as soon as I finish my protein shake.

Good morning/early afternoon Fitness ladies- I am with Carole I have those emerson smart set clocks that set the clock itself so that way I do not have to remember. Anyhow, yesterday was rest(boy those days go by fast) and Today I just finished MIC and GS chest/tri and approx 10 minutes on ab hits. After I finish my protein shake into the shower and I have more potting of plants to do in my greenhouse. Still to cold here in Michigan(53 today) to do too much outside besides picking up debris. Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday and a good start to Monday :)

I ended up doing GS Shoulders today , cutting the grass (one hour of pushing) and still am going to fit in a hike later.
Just am enjoying a sweet potato protein smoothie.

If I can figure out how to do a cool glitter signature, can I copy your pretty purple Phyllis???

Thanks Tammy!

Gayle, we must have posted at the same time this morning -- sounds like you had a great run!

Wendy, Judy, and Kim enjoy your rest days!

Shannon, sorry to hear about your knees. Hopefully they won't interfere with your stepping.

Phyliss & Jane nice siggys!

Phyliss, Becky and Joanne sounds like you had good workouts. I've never tried the PP premix. Joanne, I have that clock too -- it's great!

Well, I ran 5 miles today using CC#5 + a few extra steady state segments. It took 71minutes including w/u & c/d, but I did it!

Hi Sandra, how are the girls? Have they recovered yet, and did it remain a mild case?

Hey fitness friends! I ran 4.5 miles today outside and am doing PUB later on today. I went to an all you can eat brunch buffet at a hotel and it was sooooooo yummy!, but incredibly fattening and I am the one who said I wanted to lose these last couple lbs. Oh well, maybe next week. Have a great one everyone.
