Daily Check-in
Happy Sunday! I am taking a quick break from cleaning my kitchen to check-in here. I did Step, Jump, & Pump this morning. This is one of my happy workouts and my favorite circuit training workout overall. It is fun, fun, fun! :7 I love every minute of it and smile the whole time because it is so much fun. :7 I love the bright colors, the fun choreography, and the 80s music. Rhythmic Step is my favorite full-length step workout, but this step routine is even more fun with all the power jigs. :7 I love variety, circuit training, and floor aerobics. This one has it all. I feel so good now. :7
I just turned down extra cardio! What is the world coming to? A friend called and invited me to meet a group of friends at the park to walk the trails. It is a beautiful afternoon, but I am committed to getting my home in order and getting to bed at a decent hour as well as finding a place of balance and moderation with my workouts. I was exercising 2-3 hours a day, and this new rotation feels better and seems to be working better for me so far. I am resisting the temptation to add a bunch of extra cardio so I can give this gentler approach a chance.
I am planning to meet my friends at Cheddar’s tonight to celebrate my mentor’s birthday. I need to stay off the computer this afternoon, work on my kitchen cleaning project, do some laundry, and pack my meals and snacks for tomorrow so I can have fun tonight and be ready for bed when I get home. I may check-in again tonight if I get home early enough. Otherwise, I will be here in the morning.
