Good morning fitness folks,

Happy Labor Day. I'm working but I'll be off Wednesday.

Yesterday I ran 3.25 miles and walked 1.75 miles. I felt good during and after my run.

Today I start the Butt and Gut September rotation. I don't have Step Works but I'm substituting Step Jam.

Yesterday: GymStyle Legs (standing leg work), GymStyle Triceps and abs. CleanMax and Errand Max yesterday too.

This morning: KPC
Have to go in to work for a few hours too today, then some fun.
This evening: GymStyle Legs (floor work on schedule).

Labor Day Greetings to all who check in today :D

We are now back from bring DS & DD to there respective colleges and the rest of us are adjusting to a small family status. Making dinner for 4 instead of 6 seems odd.

My oldest DD made an observation about us as she was leaving. She noted that everyone of the 4 kids is on a new journey. Oldest is in her first apartment in urban Boston, #2 is a freshman at BC, #3 is a freshman in high school, #4 is starting 7 grade at a jesuit school for the first time. It is no wonder we have been so edgy around here!!!

Back to work out check in here: I will try to follow the Sept. 'Butts & Guts' rotation with modifications for PF recovery. Yesterday was day 1 & Step is OUT of the question but I managed to do CTX KB cardio which is fairly low impact. I substituted many of the arm drills for kicks, and followed up with 600 walking lunges. Today I am sore form those lunges.

Today will be GS back and coremax 1 which should of been yesterday, but has so much to do that I became lazy. Shame on Me! So yesterday was my day off instead of the scheduled one.

Good Morning Fit Women,

Yesterday was my rest day. Watched movies and did not know what else to do with myself. I get restless and can't sit still so sometimes I find it hard to just rest!

Today will be a Fiesta Day: 5 min. brisk power walk, 500 crunches from all angles with 10# plate, 400 walking lunges with 15# dumb bells, 4 sets of 25 dips with a 20lb dumb bell, 400 jumping jacks, 8 sets of 8 pushups

Yesterday I walked as it was TTOM and today I start the September rotation. I'm doing SB instead of StepWorks and then I'm doing Freestyle work and a walk later.

Hello, Ladies!

I am back from Louisianna. My husband's grandma passed away. We had to go to the funeral. I am so glad to be home! There is no place like it!

I am doing the Toasty Rotation. So whatever Miss Charlotte tells me, that is what I will do. I did the Fiesta this morning. I will go for a run this evening. It is beautiful and cool here in FL. I plan on taking advantage of it.

I am a bit tired today. Not to sore though and the ankle I twisted on my 20 mile race yesterday is ALOT better. I am going to do some yardwork and possibly some upper body workout later or I might just be lazy...:)...

Hi all, I did PS Biceps dumbbell only exercises twice thru, then did PS triceps and abs off of PSBB&A! Nice weight workout and I went heavier with all the triceps exercises so that was a nice change.

Happy Labour Day everyone!! I had a really great kick-in-the-pants workout this morning. I popped MIC step portion into the VCR and interspersed it with all of LowMax. My legs feel nicely worked and I got the intense cardio I was looking for. It was a really fun workout and I did the stretches from both as my reward:)

I swear Labour Day weekend feels more like the new year than January 1st, I love the fresh start that September brings. My kids are excited and ready to get back to school, friends and routine. We had a fabulous summer this year, lots of beach time, playtime and just enough travelling and visiting.

Good morning everyone,

Yup, I'm still here :-( Had some mild cramping last night, but it eventually went away. I'm probably here for the long haul.

I did Step Jam and TBStretch #1 this morning. I had *zero* desire to do this workout, and of course it turned out feeling absolutely great. I barely had to modify. And now I feel much better.

Carla - I'm sorry to hear about DH's grandmother. I hope it wasn't hurricane related?

Tammy - I'm feeling too good LOL! Thanks for asking! Have a great run!

Carole - excellent job on the race yesterday!! 12 mins faster this year; very impressive! Take it easy on that ankle.

Laurie - holy crap, what a workout!!! That's pure evil genius! I completely relate to September feeling like the new year. I feel the same way. I loooove fall. Have the leaves started changing yet? There's nothing like Kingston in the fall, IMO. I wish I could be there. (In Edmonton, the leaves all turn yellow or brown and fall off within 2 days. Quite anticlimatic after living in Eastern Ontario).

Last night was GS BS&B and this morning was PLB stability ball segment, GS Legs, and intervals 6-10 of Imax 2.

Carla - I'm sorry about your DH's grandmother.

Sandra - That's so awesome that you are still working out so late into your pregnancy! It sure won't be long now!!

It's beautiful here in Northern Illinois. Tonight we may go to Six Flags before it's back to school and work tomorrow. x(

edited to add: Not much colour in the leaves yet here, just a bit here and there, you're too right though it is absolutely breathtaking when the colours are at their peak! We are loving this warm weather with the hint of cool in the breeze, aaahhhh......

Just finished my workout. Step Jam... it has been a while since I did that one. Sandra, I see you did the same thing. That one is a lot of fun isn't it. I got so tickled at Cathe though, she really does a lot of whooping in that one. She sounded like a rooster a couple of times... LOL. I thought I was in a hoe-down!!

This is all the rotation called for today but I think I'll go out for a walk too. It is absolutely beautiful here in my part of North Carolina today. The sky is ... well... Carolina Blue.
 
Hey Jane,

It is beautiful here in my part of NC. I really didn't enjoy the outdoors like I should. Just been a lazy day for me.

Finished GS back earlier and debating on whether to do Coremax 1 which I have scheduled today. I am still sore from BC core the other day. That's how long it has been since I have exercised. If I don't do it I will put it in another day.
