Good Saturday morning everyone,

Last evening: LowMax and Stretch Max #3.

Today will be: Gym Style Chest plus added decline presses(hopefully today will be the day I can complete all reps of all sets with 25lb dumbells) and either a circuit workout or steady state cardio with floor legs from Gym Style.
Have to cleanMax and errandMax today too.

Good luck with those 25 lbs! I really must get the Gym styles. everyone seems to adore them.

Last night I did Imax 3 and segment 1 of Coremax.

Today.... well, to be honest I haven't decided yet. I have an electrician coming soon to replace my fuse box with a breaker box so I will be without power for a chunk of time, and I'll have to work out later.

While he's here I'll also be doing Cleanmax, Tidymax and Swilling-out-the-spare-roomMax:)

Good morning everyone,

It's again a beautiful day.

I had such a nice compliment from my neighbour yesterday. I was at my neighbours house for coffee when her hubby came home and he said he'd seen me last Thursday when I returned from my run and saw me from the back only: "you are really very muscular!" They then wouldn't believe that I still weigh approx 123 pounds cause they thought I looked so thin. She then said I must be "all muscle too look so thin but weigh 123 pounds". And he said that by the way my back looked, that must be so true.

I've done Imax3 interval 1-5. Not as intense as it should have been as I was totally confused again with those mambo's etc. Then did the LM blasts again, had lunch then did S&H shoulders (careful as ever).

Enjoy your Saturday ladies, I have to hit the books again. But because it's such a beautiful day I will put on my inline skates later to go on a leisurely 10K ride.

Hello, All!
Well, today was supposed to be a rest day with a stretch and run later, but I felt I needed an intense short cardio session. So I did half of one of A-Jock's mish-moshes. It was 36 minutes, and I was sweating buckets! Loved it. After I did Stretch 3. I have to study for 3 finals, so after that I will go for a run.

Hello:

Today will be MM, step tape, and elliptical. Then its passover tonite and I am cooking, so I will do CookMax for a few hours. I like to be thoroughly passified with exercise before family come over for dinner otherwise they tend to irritate the crap out of me.

Today for me was supposed to be S&H shoulders, but I need some fun! So instead it will my beloved IM#2, C&W abs + CM#3, and as I am rather tight from all of the slow and heavy I have been doing, StretchMax!

Wow, Dutchie - what wonderful compliments, you continue to impress me. I have a lot to aspire to!

Good morning!

Today I did KickMax lo-impact premix. The combos felt great. The leg conditioning drills were brutal. I'll be feeling those tomorrow!
Has anyone done the conditioning drills on a frequent basis and seen some results?

Wendy - that's encouraging to hear about your ankles. I think mine stayed swollen 24 hours, but like you, were the worst in the evenings. The thing that helped them most was to elevate them slightly on DH's lap, while he gave me a long foot massage. I can still remember how utterly delighted I was to see my ankle bones again, a few days after the birth.

Suzanne - you live by the motto Work Hard, Play Hard! Your Victoria life sounds so ideal. Enjoy your dinner tonight! Forgive my ignorance, but is Passover celebrated twice a year?

Dutchie - Doh! Yes, inline skating. Didn't even think of that! Congratulations on achieving a PB!! That's always very exciting! And how terrific does it feel to get such a great compliment from your friends! That's awesome!

Angie - I hope the funeral goes well. The man's family is probably still in shock. Are you still feeling depressed? Or did your workout yesterday perk you back up? What did you decide to do?

Laurie Mac - It's great to be back :) Are you feeling some good DOMS from your IMAX3/GS Legs workout? That sounds like a fiendishly good combination that I will remember for my postpartum days.

Shelley - There have been a few threads in the past about how difficult people find it to take a rest day. Many people can relate! If you've gone 54 days without rest, do you at least do some "easy" workouts in the mix?

Denise - That's amazing that your brother is working out with you! What workouts is he doing? I want to have my baby at your hospital!

Annette - Is your foot *still* bothering you? Wow, you've been dealing with that for a long time! I hope the orthotics get here really soon!

Foodie Sue - I look forward to the day when I can once again call Step Blast "an easier cardio"! LOL! How were the beers?

Terri - That's a very good question about circuit workouts and staying in the fat burning zone. I don't know the answer to that, but I'll be if you started a thread about the topic, someone knowledgable would chime in real quick. Your workout sounded great!

Cathy - 25lb dumbells? Very impressive!

Mariangeles - I'm guessing that your workout today will consist of some sort of kickboxing? :)

Carla - Congratulations to you for making half-way through an Aqua-jock mish mosh!!

Tammy - IM2 and CW abs go together like macaroni and cheese. That's a great combination! Have fun!

No passover is once a year. Thank god. I dont think I could handle twice a year. Is it just me or when family comes over for dinner it can be a tough nite? I like friends coming over better, they are polite. I dont like that most relatives come over just in time to eat dinner, almost never bring anything, never help set up, never even offer to help, are always in the Bleeping way, and leave before its clean up time. So, we dont have these little get togethers often as you can imagine. Let me know what you do or say to get them to realize the rudeness.

Not sure what workouts I am going to do today yet. I am feeling kinda achy and have a sore throat. But if I don't workout I will feel fat...sad but true. Does anyone else ever feel that way for just skipping a day? I think I will at least do abhits dvd and some sort of cardio.

Fiddlefit that is a great idea. I will post a thread and see what folks have to say. Thanks to everyone here for all the advice and support they give. I am now addicted to these forums!

Haven't checked in for awhile, but am making a new start, in intensity and consistency.

Did 30 minutes on the bike and then Power Hour.
 
Good afternoon, ladies!

Today was GS Back, Shoulders, Biceps for me. I have not been maxing out my weights with the GS yet as I need to know what's coming before I attempt to do that... but I will. :) The GS are really awesome workouts!

I was fooling around with my six-year-old earlier and we were posing in the mirror (ok, we do this a lot since I started working out with Cathe, lol). I said, "SHOW ME THOSE GUNS!" and he made pistols out of his fingers. LOL He had no idea why I thought that was so funny!

Sandra, actually while I am taking this really good anti-inflammatory it isn't bothering me at all. And my poor orthotics were sent back to be modified for my arthritic big toe on the other foot from the original foot with the plantar facitis(sp?). I am just a foot mess, aren't I?!?:+ :eek:

I rode the bike on the trainer for an hour today after taking my middle son to tennis. I then climbed in and out of a hole in the floor of our new addition that gives us access to the plumbing and heating ducts and what not, helping my dh work on the plumbing.

Good Afternoon everyone.

Well last night I was a lazy no work out loser who slugged and slept on the couch all night depsite my good intentions.x(

I just finished my work out for today...1st 35 minutes of Step Blast including the warm up and a very short cool down. I didn't have it in me to even do the full premix I intended on :-(. Then I moved on to CTX shoulders/triceps/biceps and stretch. Actually was about a 75-80 minute work out when all was said and done so I felt better about my "failure" at step blast in the end.:)

Well, I'm going out for the afternoon so it's time to hop in the shower!

Hi again. Great workout Wendy.Finally I have done the TAEBO bootcamp ultimate and one TAEBO basic live series workout.I have done the nº 7 TAEBO basic live workout. The songs in this tape are: Celebrate, Joy, Now That We found Love, & Stomp. The soundtrack rocks!!!! Stomp is an awesome song. I love gospel. I definitely have a great time everytime I do this workout.Have a great rest of the day.

you keep amazing me Wendy. I used to w/o with my first son right up to delivery date, I was so fed up with that belly, and he just didn't want to come out :) He was actually born 10 days "late". But I don't remember lifting weights. Just cardio and abs. And lots of walking to make him come out. He's still always late :) :) But once he wanted out, he was sure in a hurry. Delivery was just 2.5hours from start to finish. We didn't almost make it to hospital in time. And the only thing that really hurt were the stitches afterwards.

So hope you have a quick and pleasant delivery too.

Finially got to use the computer..nearly impossible on the weekend with everyone home. LOL

Anyhow, just did Core Max today as we are expecting guest (hubby just announced last night) and so I was expecting them much earlier and did not want to end up all sweaty as they were walking in the door. Can you believe it, it is almost 4pm and they are still not here. Grrr. I could have already did my lower body workout by now.

I think they will be staying the night too since we live so far from them. Another rest day tomorrow...NOT! What's a girl to do???
I hate last minute stuff and waiting for folks to show up just whenever.

O.k., I have whined enough. Hope everyone has a great workout with or without me. LOL

Charlotte- I understand. I hate that kind of thing too. Drives me nuts.

Well, it may not sound like much, but I am REALLY REALLY proud of doing 40 mins. of cardio today and S&H shoulders and S&H chest. I can't believe I did it. I had such a hard week and I was dragging my body around, too tired for anything and my lower back pain was still pretty bad. I didn't even plan to exercise today, but then I was feeling so lousy, I thought, why not try? I can't feel any worse. Well now my mood is lifted and I'm really glad that I made the effort! :)

I will now set about enjoying a relaxing evening, and maybe treat myself to a pay-per-view movie. :D

I got home after working 12 hours and I had enough energy to workout!!! Yeah!! This is an all time first I have ever worked out after working 12 hours...Personal first!!
