I'm going to do L&G today, too! I'll send you lots of good vibes, ok? ;)

Yesterday was Step Heat (it finally came, and I really like!) and PLB floor work, 10 minutes walk to mailbox, and then StretchMax.

Today: L&G then 20 minutes of hi/lo cardio...then later this afternoon with be MoveFurnitureMax. Ugh! :7

Wishing you all fun, challenging and creative workouts for today!

Connie :D

Good Morning Fit Ladies!

MAJOR DOMS are in the house! That little run yesterday found muscle fibers in my legs that have been sleeping for a VERY LONG TIME!

Today I have IM#3 on the rotation and I don't know if I will make it in light of the fact that my legs are in the state they are in. I think I will do a warm-up and then SM#3 and then move on to IM#3.

Have a great day and hello to all that follow!

Tammy

Good Morning, Ladies!
Well, this morning I did the Viper! I love the Terminator DVD!

It is 8:45 am and we are expected to be hit by Arlene at noon. I love in Pensacola, FL. We are getting the direct hit. I just pray we don't lose power. We have a generator, but it's just not the same.

Have a great day!

Last night - PUB and Step Heat

Today - Probably a barnburner cardio - one of the Terminators or HCE and probably a session of StretchMax. I am neglecting my stretching.

Also CleanMax today in a major way.

Happy Weekend Everyone!
Yesterday I did L&S and CoreMax. Today Step Blast and stretching. I am sore but in a great way.
It is soooo humid here it's awful. I haven't been out for a walk in a week and I was doing that along w/ my workouts. Oh well. I feel muscles everywhere and it feels good.
Have a great day everybody!
Kali

Good Morning Fit Women,

Yesterday was ME and Garden Max. Bicep curls in ME are a real killer, but finished with the 25lb barbell...no need to add weights to it...ouchy! Tough enough!! Didn't complete the push ups though. :<

Today I did Tri's and Bi's and Shoulders from Legs and Shoulders as I am trying a new thing with endurance one day for upper body like in ME and then slow and heavy next day as it is suppose to help build bigger muscles this way with lighter weights and high reps and then heavy next (back to back/same muscle group). I still need to do Core Max 2 and then run for 30 mins this evening.

Carla,

Hang in there. Lots of prayers coming your way.

Charlotte~~

Legs and Glutes here too! then i will do some of Lowmax, but i'm not sure which premix yet. Normally i would have to mow this weekedn, but since i handed that over to my little brother, i don't have to worry about it! How great is that!?

Good morning strong women!

This morning was Low Max - Step only premix, plus Core Max #1. I am experiencing wonderful DOMS from L&G (yesterday) and PUB (Thursday), so some nice step aerobics were just what I needed to help loosen up those tight muscles.

Today is also Garden Max - I've got 5 40-lb bags of mulch to spread around, and some plants to plant. And some dead plants to dig up. Woo hoo!

Have a great weekend everyone! :D

Good morning!

This morning I did IMAX3 step-only; Muscle Endurance (no core); Basic Step stability ball abs; Body Fusion stretch.

I was feeling very non-energetic yesterday, so went to bed at 7:30 last night  I slept for 9 1/2 hours, almost solid. Ahhhhhhh.

Debbie - buying new fitness equipment is always exciting!!! We are currently on a very tight budget, and I haven't been able to buy anything new for quite some time (and I'm in desperate need of maternity workout clothes!). Yesterday I told DH that I was in craving some retail therapy....so I had a bowl of chocolate ice cream with a warmed up peanut butter cookie instead :9

Katie - did you ME along with me this morning?

Jes - new workout dvd's coming your way!! That's the most exciting purchase there is! I'm feeling okay, thank you for asking! I've got one week left in the "honeymoon" second trimester, and my energy levels are starting to decline. I may need to make 7:30 my regular bedtime - which is hard to do so far north, where sunset is 10:30-11:00pm! I'm happy I inspired you to put together a creative workout! I like what you put together. Was it fun? Was the "Snadra" a deliberate pun on mixing things up? LOL!

Connie - Since you love LG so much, then it will be worth every penny to buy the KPC/LG dvd. I think you will get a lot of good use out of it, especially with all the premixes. Let me know how the Fanny Lifter works for HSCircuit; Wendy and I just had a similar discussion about this. I'm glad you like Step Heat! Some people can't get past the dated feel/look of the older workouts, but I like them. They still have a place in my rotations.

Terri - If you have such a hard time taking a rest day, can you take one day a week where you do something really light? Like yoga? Or StretchMax? It will get your blood circulating and make you feel good, but still give your body some time to regenerate. Just an idea.

Laurie - the beauty of the BB series is that they are so finely chaptered that you can be very creative! With KPC I think you could almost make your own workout, one move at a time! Okay, I exaggerate, but another version of KPC I'm thinking of trying some day is to do the workout as-is until the combos, then do all three combos all on the right side first, then all on the left side. That should toast and challenge the muscles! Or, alternate the warm up, intermediate drills, and high drills with each of the combos, in kind of a circuit workout. After I posted yesterday I read the Globe & Mail, and there was an article specifically trumpeting Ralph's joy over the Quebec ruling. The article then discussed each of the premiers' reactions to the ruling, but it appears that everyone is watching Ralph and expecting him to make the first move. And he's got the gumption to do it :-( Your BodyFlow class sounds really fun! I'd love to take a class like that!! Since coming off of my bedrest I haven't reincorporated the Sunday morning yoga. I've been taking Sundays as a day to sleep in. I should put the yoga back in somewhere, as my lower back really does need some good stretching these days. I'll have to think about where in my week I can do that (and Dutchie alerted me to a really good pregnancy yoga dvd).

Wendy - I have the same problem with checking for DR!! I've read and re-read numerous descriptions of how to do it, but it just doesn't make sense to me. I think what I need is to actually feel someone's abs that have the separation, and someone's that does not, so I can see what the heck I'm looking for. Maybe we need to ask Sheila.

Shannon - Everyone has different lifestyles. The great thing about Cathe's workouts is that they're intense enough to do a world of good, even if you only have 45 minutes a day. In an ideal world we could all do two workouts a day, but I know for me personally, once a day, first thing in the morning, is the only time I'm going to get one in.

Jane - what did your HR monitor say about Step Heat? Did you burn a good amount of calories? Of the three workouts on that dvd, Step Jam is my favourite.

Mariángeles - I don't know how you are able to do such intense lower body work on a daily basis. Good for you!

Carla - good luck with the hurricane!!!! I hope you weather it okay. We'll be hoping to hear from you tomorrow!

Kali - I love that feeling, too!

Have a great day!
Sandra

Jes,

Enjoy LowMax! I need to do that this week, I think. Does LB get to use the cup holders and cooler? And what does he put in them :D ?

Cheers,
Sandra

Hi all, hot again today, UGH!!

I did the 37 min. premix on Kick, Punch and Crunch this morning.

That will be all, I have alot of household stuff to do today also!:7

Hi Ladies,

Great workouts. I did Kenpo X and MM, chest, shoulders, biceps and triceps. I will rest tomorrow, Monday is week #6 of P90X.

Have a fun and joyous weekend.

Happy Saturday!

Carla- I will be thinking of you> Let's pray the storm doens't get anywhere near you!

Sandra- I liked you advice a lot and will give it a try. Thanks so much for resonding.

Today I did lowmax and I am going to do abs here soon. I like to do them before I eat since my tummy feels flat then! I am hoping to get in either ME or triceps and biceps. Still up in the air! Busy birthday weekend for both myself and my son.

I hope you all are well and having a great weekend!

Terri

Jes.... my HRM on Step Heat was 133 avg HR, 158 Max HR - 351 calories burned.

Today - HARDCORE EXTREME - she got that name right!!! I did workout #2 which combined hi/low interval blasts from IMAX3, LowMax (I must get LowMax, I liked the intervals), and KickMax with the KickMax stretch. Wonderful 70 minute workout.

I forgot to strap my HRM on until after the first combo darn it. That was only about 8 minutes or so I believe.

So HRM says... Avg HR 146, Max HR 173 woo hoo... didn't drop dead so it must be okay (my max HR is suppose to be 176), calories 474.... yeah!!! I know I burned over 500 calories with the entire workout.

Nothing else today, my brother and SIL are coming our with the kids for a cookout.

Y'all have a wonderful rest of the weekend!!!

Hey ladies! i'm back! just finished the step pm of C/W and L/G. i had a lot of energy today! i think it's the paint}(

sandra: you know i can't spell worth a damn!:p
