Cathlete
I haven't been sleeping tonight, so I'll just start us off ladies ........

Q: When it comes to sports, which one are/were you best at & which one is your worst?
My best: Volleyball
My worst: toss up between Softball and Badminton, both of which I am terrible at!!

:)
Have a peaceful day.

Hi Elsie - sorry you couldn't sleep. I hate it when that happens!

Today I did DB - two metabolic workouts (one for legs) + pilates + a long stretch.

Missy - wow - you sure can ride. glad you are feeling better
Peg - so sad about your daughter's friend and his family
Henriette - my fav season might be summer too if are temperatures were as mild as yours - i like a mild summer. and, like you, i also appreciate all the seasons - no fav for me

Elsie - I was never good at sports growing up. I was a competitive irish dancer so there was no time for team sports :( to this day - i never watch sports and I never volunteer to play any - so glad i eventually discovered the gym and working out. this - i love!

have a great day everyone

Good morning Elsie ! Oh , I wish you would be able to sleep and rest peacefully....I hope things settle down for you
soon. Take care....Gosh, on sports, my favorite even tho' I haven't done it in awhile, would be tennis. In my younger days, I had tennis in
school and also took lessons later in life. Never was that great really, but did enjoy it. My worst, probably would be
volleyball !

Hi everyone! Elsie, you're right, I think it's time you took another step w/ the construction and contact the media. That's so obnoxious!! I'm sorry you have to deal with that.

Missy- 30 miles?!?! Yikes. That's crazy. I hope you feel better soon.
Siobahn- I love Irish step dancing. That's tough stuff. Do you still do it, maybe just for fun?
Linda- I love tennis too but I totally suck! I just have fun w/ my husband. Most of the time I'm laughing at myself, so I guess you could say it's an ab workout if nothing else.

My favorite sport growing up was soccer and field hockey. I'm seeing a theme here....I enjoy hitting and kicking things hhmmm. I was never good at volleyball as my wrists are so small. Probably why I'm poor w/ tennis too.

Today's workout was Susan Chung #3-Rock steady, rock hard. (More hitting and kicking.) Love her.

Have a great day.

Hi ladies,

Today I went to the gym and did a 50 minute interval elliptical workout. Usually I just hit 'random' on the machine and go. But today I changed things and hit the interval setting instead.

Honestly, I never played any sports per se. I mean in P.E. classes we tried different sports like field hockey (but we played in a gym), in college I took tennis/volleyball but as far as being good at anything I was not[emoji53]. I did play in the band so for marching band we marched a lot and attended all the football games but I never really knew what was going on. [emoji50]

And I was always a 'drunk' marcher because I could never march in a straight line and flutes led the lines so my whole line was 'drunk'[emoji44],LOL!! So technically I wasn't even good at that,LOL!![emoji2][emoji44]

Anyway, have a great day and workout!!

I forgot about the "marching sport" :). I was on the drill team and we marched with the band doing routines
To the songs they played, using hula hoops with streamers on the hoops! That was so much fun, we went to
Parades, and performed at half time at games too. You're right, Annette, a lot of marching. Our winter outfits
Were Blazers with turtlenecks underneath and shorts underneath, tights and boots. We had gloves and little
Beret hats. Oh, again, memories!!!

Hi ladies!

Thankfully after a better night's sleep, only up twice instead of 6-8 times I felt somewhat better today and after a day of working at home and two dental appointments for my son I felt well enough to do a short w/o. Fridays I usually don't manage a w/o so I decided to do a TB today, but a short one. I did 21 DF Dirty 30, but went rather heavy compared to Autumn so I got a good sweat out of it.

Elsie - to answer your question I have not tried BodyRock Baby or other prenatal stuff yet. I still like my intense workouts, just shorter and less jumping. Perhaps when I reach 36 weeks I will have no choice. I guess we will see soon enough.

Good question of the day, but once again I don't have a simple answer.

I love sports, not watching but playing them. As a kids I was mostly into horse riding, from the age of 6-18. I took dressage and jumping lessons several days a week, but always on stable ponies and horses. I never owned my own... still a dream for me. One day... I think when the kids have moved out, so seeing as this one hasn't even been born that's a long time from now. [emoji22]

I did a lot of swimming too, but can't say I loved it or was super at it. I just collected diplomas and certificates.

I also played tennis for several years, and like several of you would love to take that up again, although I don't think it was my best sport.

And basketball of course from 15 onwards, decent player but not the best.

I tried soccer one season but after years of bball that wasn't great. Reflexes make you want to use your hands and that's not a good idea unless you are the goalie.

So out of sports I have done for some years my best was probably horse riding, though not really competitively. And second best basketball.

I did a boxing for a very short time. I enjoyed learning punches and moves, hitting the bag but I dreaded fighting anyone, even sparring. I guess that makes me a shitty boxer.

Worst that I tried: soccer or boxing.
Worst I never did as it is not a sport that interests me: Chess.

I enjoy most sports as I said... playing/doing them not watching, but not really competitively, just recreational.
