Hi ladies!
Thankfully after a better night's sleep, only up twice instead of 6-8 times I felt somewhat better today and after a day of working at home and two dental appointments for my son I felt well enough to do a short w/o. Fridays I usually don't manage a w/o so I decided to do a TB today, but a short one. I did 21 DF Dirty 30, but went rather heavy compared to Autumn so I got a good sweat out of it.
Elsie - to answer your question I have not tried BodyRock Baby or other prenatal stuff yet. I still like my intense workouts, just shorter and less jumping. Perhaps when I reach 36 weeks I will have no choice. I guess we will see soon enough.
Good question of the day, but once again I don't have a simple answer.
I love sports, not watching but playing them. As a kids I was mostly into horse riding, from the age of 6-18. I took dressage and jumping lessons several days a week, but always on stable ponies and horses. I never owned my own... still a dream for me. One day... I think when the kids have moved out, so seeing as this one hasn't even been born that's a long time from now. [emoji22]
I did a lot of swimming too, but can't say I loved it or was super at it. I just collected diplomas and certificates.
I also played tennis for several years, and like several of you would love to take that up again, although I don't think it was my best sport.
And basketball of course from 15 onwards, decent player but not the best.
I tried soccer one season but after years of bball that wasn't great. Reflexes make you want to use your hands and that's not a good idea unless you are the goalie.
So out of sports I have done for some years my best was probably horse riding, though not really competitively. And second best basketball.
I did a boxing for a very short time. I enjoyed learning punches and moves, hitting the bag but I dreaded fighting anyone, even sparring. I guess that makes me a shitty boxer.
Worst that I tried: soccer or boxing.
Worst I never did as it is not a sport that interests me: Chess.
I enjoy most sports as I said... playing/doing them not watching, but not really competitively, just recreational.
