DAILY CHECK IN MONDAY OCTOBER 30TH @

Cathlete
Hi gals,

Today, I after throwing together the interval workout last night and my son figuring out the music and burning a cd, I presented the workout this morning to 6 ladies.

And it was a HIT!! An hour of 10, 5 minute intervals with a 4 minute warm up and 4 minute cooldown.

All very basic moves that got progressively more intense as we went along. More challenging but doable. 1 minute of high intensity going hard and fast, then 2 minutes of lower intensity moves , then 2 minutes of weight work . Then repeat with different moves. It was tough for me, but definitely a plateau breaker.

Then I did about 50 minutes of heavy weight work.

Have a great day and workout!![emoji16]

Hi Annette and all still to follow,

Glad your new workout was a hit! It sure sounds good.

I had lots of plans for today, but some how didn't get much done. I tried a dance workout but stopped after 25min when the shimmying about started hurting my pelvic area and hips. Similar to the pains I felt yesterday so perhaps I need to stop with the dance workouts [emoji26]

I then spent all afternoon baking 4 batches of Chocolate Chip cookies. It's Magnus's birthday today and he loves those cookies, so he wanted to treat his team mates tonight:

By walking about baking and more laundry and grocery shopping etc I more than got my 10,000 steps in and I feel drained, so sadly no other workout for me today. [emoji24]Tomorrow is a new day and who knows what I will be able to do then.

Great Job Annette. Change can be hard for some people but THAT is when you see results! OH MY Henriette, now I'm going to obsess about choc chip cookies. Yesterday I made salted caramel cookies. They're ok, not great. What I wanted was choc chip. Now I'll make them! I enjoy baking but it's just hubby and I at home. It's not easy to keep away from a decadent cake, brownies, cookies etc. Your cookies look delicious. I'm glad you're feeling better too. Elsie, I'm glad you finally got some sleep. Lack of sleep can be totally draining and cause illness because your immune system is down.

Today I did Cathe's PHA training. I'm surprised I was ok with it. I seriously worked my lower half yesterday.

Hello to all who follow. I'll be checking back later.

Oh wait....question of the day....do you own a carpet steam cleaner? Selfish question I know. I'm in the market for one as I just returned one to Waldo's. Maybe Linda can come up w/ a better question of the day.

Hey all, I did Body Blast today for 45 minutes. I did not complete the workout, but I finished up to the blast portion. 4 inches....still recovering, but making progress.

I do own a carpet steamer. A Hoover. probably the cheapest one they make, but I have a dog, and I use it all the time. It has great suction. I'm careful to take it apart and clean all the parts after each use. I think that prolongs the life of it and the quality of the cleaning.

Happy Birthday to Magnus!
Hey, great workouts girls. Cannot believe you are still counting steps, Henriette. :) Way to go on a successful class Annette! You are one accomplished stepper, Missy. I love step , although I have to find some time before & afterwards to roll out my psoas cause they get so tight. Steam cleaner? No, but the carpets here could certainly use it. We have been looking to rent one, although I am just so tired to do that now. No workout for me today.
Hey Linda & Ceci! *waves*

Hi girls, hope your day was good. Happy Birthday to your son, Henriette, hope he had a great day, I KNOW he
Had some great cookies!!!!

I have a cheap carpet cleaner, used it once I think, it's kind of small, but I had water everywhere!!! So I have never
Tried to use it again. A Bissell, I think. Yep, my carpets could use a major cleaning, I vacuum them every week,
But they haven't been cleaned like that in a long, long time.

Tonight I did an old workout blender workout. What I mean by an old workout blender workout is one that I made
From the first blender (the one we could put on the computer and used with downloads.) I made about 30 of those,
But it took a long, long, time to do and the downloads took up a lot of space on the computer. The workout itself
Was a mix of some of the STS workouts. Have a good night.

Oh, Annette, great job with your class! And Elsie, I agreed with you on the standing ab work and
Them %#$& bear crawls!!!!
