Daily Check In: Monday, July 25, 2005

Hey, I'm back.

LOL, sorry, not today Sandra...I ended up deciding to stick with my rotation so I did pub/plb bonus premix. Imax Ex will have to wait a couple more days. }(

Have a good day all.

Hi, all I was doing other stuff this weekend so no formal exercise to speak of. Clean max on Saturday though.

I did Hardcore Kickbox Circuit today then did the Plie and regular squats off of PSSL&A and abs off of PSBB&A. Nice workout, my weight is waaaaaaaaaaay up so I am determined to get it back down again.

Have a great day!!:D

Morning everyone:)
This morning was L & G and core max2, I think I really just like abs w/o any equipment.
Becky, happy birthday, lucky you having strawberry crepes, my mouth is watering.:)
Have a great day and stay cool everyone.

Morning ladies! Yesterday was Bootcamp and today was IMAX 2. I'm starting my new rotation this week, so I'm excited to change things up. I'm kind of doing my own version of Cathe's January rotation, but since today was supposed to be SJP and I did BC yesterday I decided to switch it with Friday's IMAX 2.

Down another pound and a half this week! WOO HOO!!! My clothes are starting to get too big. Guess I'll have to do some shopping.:7

Have a great day all!

Hi again, I have done back and biceps P90X for the first time. Guuuau. What a workout¡ All the weight workouts of P90X are wonderful. I highly recommend these workouts.

OK, I came back to wish BECKY a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! did you enjoy those crepes?

Wendy~! I see you did PUB/PLB nounus premix. How do you like it?

I reevaluated my week and am trying 1 (one) Gym Style upper body segment each day, 30" of cardio and some sort of leg work. Also hope to get in 3-4 good ab segments. and a yoga session.

For example I did GS chest (yes all the pushups, grunt...)
Then I put in Boot Camp premix 'everything but core' This is how I did it: I walked/jogged on Treadmill duringwarm up. hen during each cardio I ran on treadmill and did the prescribed lower body work. Then I ran on Upper body and styed running through the cardio segment until the next LB segment came up. I ended up doing 3" runs at my medium/fast pace, and lower body alternating. through out. If I didn't get to 3" then I paused the DVD until I had run 3" for each cardio segment. It was a challenge to run after some of those LB segments!

I guess I was bored this afternoon cause I did a 2nd work out! LOL the warm up and first 4 blasts of lowmax and then the ab work from cardio hits.

Judy-I like the pyramid bonus workout. It's a great compact way to hit upper and lower body. I'd love to do both full work outs in one day but that's a bit much for me time wise. I actually haven't done either w/o in full in ages...I'll have to split it up into 2 days and get them in one day soon! }(

back and modified my workout a bit. two ten minute jump rope intervals (oh my this is sooo hard for me) w/ 30 pushups after each interval. I think I ended up throwing two more pushup sets for a total of 100. Then BC cardio only premix and abs from C&W. Great workout!!

Hello:

No one will read this since it is so late, but I haven't posted since Wednesday. I was traveling for work W-F and then had a really busy weekend. Even though I had a lot going on, I still only took Friday off, my normal rest day.

Saturday I took a ME-like class at the new gym we just joined. I was excited because it was very similar to a Cathe class, the music was jammin, and it was challenging yet I could really keep up thanks to Cathe. The gym will never replace Cathe during the week, but it's nice to have some variety.

Sunday I did KPC. Hadn't done that one in full in ages. I wore 2 pound hand weights during all of it but the last two drills. Uh, that made a difference!

Today I did Step Works for the first time. I really liked it. I haven't liked some of the older ones as much, but this was gem!

Until tomorroww...

No worries Foodie Sue, someone is most definitely reading this. Sounds like you had fun at the gym. I love working out with a group, it's so motivating. Step Works is one of my fave step workouts, I love the choreography, the sweat and time flies when I do this one}( :)

Happy Birthday Becky!!:)

Sandra, you're doing so well, I think it's safe to say that your 'scaled back' version is more than the average non-pregnant woman could do. I think it's awesome the way you and Wendy have worked out so consistently through pregnancy.:)

I had a very physical day and it was wonderful. I started with SJP step then all of the finished combos from SB followed by the challenge. I taught a BodyPump class at noon and then went North with my family and a canoe and had a ball jumping off of a big hunk of Canandian Shield into beautiful Frontenac Lake. We swam and paddled the canoe around for 4 1/2 hours, I am bushed and will sleep like a big old baby tonight. I was impressing the lot with the ease in which I maneouvered the canoe off and on the car. THANKS CATHE!!!!:)

Take Care

Wow Laurie, what a day!! You don't have to wonder if you got an adequate w/o in today!! I bet you will sleep good tonight.

Yeah, it was a very good day Jane. Did you enjoy BodyMax? It's one of my all time favourite's definitely one of my desert island picks, I love to step and that routine never fails to please. I read your earlier post and have to ask, what does RA stand for?

Take Care
Laurie:)
