First on this first Monday of the New Year!!

Today I did that Cardio Burnout off of FIT tv which is On Demand with Comcast. The instructor is Cathy Siphers and once again that workout knocked me for a loop. I even tried the Burpees and Mountain Climbers but honestly my large bust gets in the way so I stuck with jogging or marching in place.

She does (after a warm up) grapevine, moving squats, jumping jacks, double jumping jacks, burpees, mountain climber and then goes to abs, then weight work and repeat again but with a different body part for weight work. The last weight work in legs both standing and on all fours with legs lifts to the back and to the side. You end with a shorter cardio (less reps of the above) and abs, then a short stretch. It is a 41 min. workout.

I also went to the gym for 35 min. of weight work.

Hi Annette you hit it hard today!well done! Today I did Sts meso 1 disc 3 legs. I had to choose lighter weights then the targeted ones but overall it was ok. Will let you know if I have doms tomorrow...
 
Hi ladies,

I took another rest day today. I got up this morning but have been feeling a bit under the weather. I decided to meditate instead. I am feeling better now. Usually, a couple of shots of apple cider vinegar gets rid of sore throats or other symptoms almost immediately. That stuff is potent.

Conni - I hope all is well with you. it's not like you to miss check in
Annette - you sure are the queen of double workouts
Sandy - so happy you are doing STS. each meso is very different. I love the push ups in meso 1. i have a pull up bar but tend towards bent over rows instead. and, i never did my 1 rep max
dawn - so glad you have been joining us. i hope you got in a workout today

i will be back at things tomorrow. i feel much better this evening.
 
Hey Everyone!!!!

I was up late last night watching Football and it was a very exciting game that left me wide awake when it was time to go to bed... needless to say... my night was very restless and I did not get a full workout in this morning.. I did the warmup for the ICE Low impact Sweat workout with some foam rolling and that was it, I really wanted to do RWH lower body today, but... will shoot for that tomorrow and go from there.

CeciFifi: hope you are feeling better, I love meditation and thanks for welcoming me!

I'm very interested in STS.. you girls really love it??? Is this something you are ok with doing without a spotter? I have to really modify some things due to spinal issues, I have a large fusion in my neck, so I never do barbell back squats anymore, I can't load my spine like that anymore.. but I can hold heavy dumbbells and I modify with different types of front squats and sumo squats... Is this program easy to modify?? I also do not have a squat rack at home. I would really just like to the do the Meso 2 for hypertrophy... would it be ok to just do one part of it?
