Hi everyone,

Thought I'd start the January rotation today. Boy did that go wrong!

After the first two cycles of Bootcamp I felt really dizzy so I had a few sips of my shake. After the third cycle I felt really sick. And after finishing the fourth cardio I had my head in the toilet....

I had to quit and called in sick. My colleague said two others already called that they'd also been throwing up. Guess it's a bug. Not a sign of my unfitness (is that a word?).

Today I'm starting a CTX rotation week. I am going to cycle through all six workouts and add on to the body part of the day.

So today is PowerCircuit w/GS Back.

Tammy - yep I wasn't sure which one to post to but since you are on this one too, looks like we go with this.

Jane - have a good workout and day. OUCH all those walking lunges. Sounds like a good workout.

Hmmm...for me it's - LM.

I just got a call from my DD she is in Quebec City for a 2 week intense French speaking program and then heads off to France until May. I slept so well last night! I'm so proud of her but gosh this was emotional too! She left yesterday at 11 am!

Morning ladies. Well it looks like working out last week was just not in the cards. After overdoing it on Monday and Tuesday, therefore having to take a rest day Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to recover, I was all ready to work out over the weekend. Well, Friday evening my 2 year old daughter fell and hurt her wrist. So, we spent the weekend going to the doctor and getting x-rays taken, etc. Luckily, it turns out it is not broken, just bruised. But we spent the weekend tending to her, so I didn't get a workout in at all.
So, this morning is the beginning of a new week and a new start. I did C&W step only premix, plus biceps and abs. It's my Birthday on Friday and my daughters on Thursday, so I am going to have to avoid cake all weekend.:eek:

Dutchie, I hope you feel better. And for anyone doing the Jan rotation...have fun in your second week!

I'm on my second week of CTX rotation so I did All Step today. I received my new Ryka Enlights this weekend. Nice and cushy.

I have to track down the tread that talked about where to buy the strech bands since I snaped my old one while doing Stretch Max on Saturday!!!!

Tammy...a CTX rotation sounds fun. I might even try some of Cathe's rotations after I am done with P90X.

Jane...WOW...500 sit-ups!! You are doing great!

Kim...good job on those chest muscles.

Robyn...enjoy Lowmax. I bet you are proud of your DD. It was so nice she was home for the holidays....:)

Katie..I am glad your daughter didn't break her arm. But I am sure a bruise is painful. Hope she feels better soon...

I am doing P90X Core Synergistics this morning, and maybe some legs and upper body sho, bi's and tri's this afternoon. My legs are still a bit sore from P90X Legs & Back on Sat....

Katie: Glad to hear it was only a bruise. But never the less a child who doesn't feel well can be exhausting. I didn't workout much last week either, but this is a new week! :)

I have Tone It Up and 30 mins of Cathe cardio on tap for today....would have gotten it out of the way this morning but alas, I did not get my lazy a$$ out of bed in time! Can y'all just smack me! I keep complaining and saying I should set an alarm and I continue to NOT do that. x( x( x(

Fit Mom- It is so hard getting out of bed, I know! Once you start to do it, it isn't all that bad. I never have a morning though when I just hop right up, it always takes awhile. : )


I did Kick Max today and loved it! I feel myself getting into shape slowly but surely.

Since our computer system was down for upgrades, I got in my w/o. Whew!!!

HCX#1 - the circuit, 400 walking lunges without stopping, didn't get too far on the situps, I did 20, those are hard!!!

I went to crunches and did 100 regular, 100 right oblique, 100 left oblique, 100 reverse, and 100 regular. I finished off with the stretch from HCX#1

1 hr 40 minutes, what a workout!!!

Dutchie, I hope you feel better. Katie, I can totally relate to family issues interrupting planned workout schedules. Today I planned to start P90X Lean. I had a schedule all worked out for housekeeping, breakfast, and the workout. I should have known it wasn't going to happen as planned when it took four attempts before my DH and the kids left for school. All was as planned for about 45 min. I put a roast in the oven for dinner, and I began to prepare my breakfast when dh called to say my three year old had an accident at school, and needed a complete change of clothes and a blanket and pillow. Normally ds has a change of clothes at school, but dh brought them home on Friday and forgot to tell me. Also, ds is star student of the week this week so I was supposed to send pictures and a little bio of ds to school with him today.

Upon arriving at the school I realize "complete" change of clothes included shoes, but I didn't have those so I had to go to a nearby store and buy a pair of sneakers for him. (Okay I bought a few things for me and my dd too, but I figured it was still early, and I had the time. Besides, I love new workout clothes. :))

On the way home I stopped to run a few errands, and I just arrived here about 20min ago. As I walked in to put away the groceries, the phone rang. It was my mom who wants me to attend my sister's doctor's appointment this afternoon (1pm). So no P90X until at least 3pm.

Aargh! I don't mind going with my sister to the doctor's office,fI just wish they would have asked me in advance. If I had known, I never would have run those extra errands this morning. Oh well, DH says he'll make sure I have the time this evening so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Thanks for letting me whine.


I kinda feel a little silly now. :+

Oh Dutchie, I hope you feel better soon.

I did the up premix off of PUB minus the abs but added in the abs from Body Max and stretch.

We are leaving Wed. to go and visit my mom in the hospital. She was moved to the Medical Progressive Care Unit last evening. She is getting worse and her MELD score is now 39, 40 means they are pretty much going to die without a transplant or that they are too sick to receive a transplant. So please keep praying that they find a liver for my mother.

I will be off line from part of Wed. througth Friday evening.

Okay, my work is done...After Tone it Up I jumped right into step segment 1 of Step Works, then Step Segment 2 of Power Max and then ended it with the Step Fit step cool down and stretch. :)
