Hello everyone.

I took my 2 rest days like I wanted to yesterday and saturday.

Today will be cardio, legs and abs.

Have a great day!:)

Hi Wendy,

did you enjoy your rest days?

I've done GS-UB premixes today.

Then my new IKEA sofa's arrived. And I had to take the packaging off, screw the little legs on and put them where I wanted them, which was a bit of a problem with that Xmas tree. In the end I put the Xmas tree on a side table and shoved the largest sofa in front of it. Believe me, it was a whole w/o in itself.

Guess what I did yesterday for the very first time in my life??? I juiced fresh veggies. Never done that before. Saw an infomercial on tv and remembered that my kitchen machine has a device for it. Took 1 minute to assemble, 2 minutes to half or quarter the veggies (pumpkin, cucumber, zuchini, banana), and literally within a few seconds I had a glas of juice. And to my surprise it tasted really good. So after work I'll be off to the supermarket to buy all kinds of veggies.

Anybody have any good ideas?

Gotta love those rest days huh Wendy!? I enjoyed mine yesterday.

Dutchie, juicing sounds like a great idea.

Today is SJP hi/lo and wts.

Have a fabulous day fitness buddies...

I ended up taking last thursday and friday off as rest my stomach days. Saturday I did Power Hour, Sunday Step Blast and Kick Max drills plus lots of stretching. Today was High Step Challange which I didn't care for too much but I'm sure it will grow on me!

Dutchie- they are building an IKEA near me. I'm curious to go in but I'm sure it will be a mad house!

Have a good day everyone!

Jeanette

Hi Everyone,

Saturday and Sunday were rest days for me, but not to much resting went on. It has been very stressfull at my house lately. I hope once Jan. arrives that things will settle down.

This morning I did PP (I haven't done this one in a very long time)and HSC abd. I hope to get some walking lunges in this afternoon.
Trying to a little version of freestyle training. I did this last year and it did whittle down my hip and thigh area. I am short and carry a lot of my weight in these areasx(

Have a great day everyone!

Elaine

ps we got 18" of snow on Friday, lots of fun!!:)

Edited to say, Wendy just saw your ticker tape, your doing a great job! You are almost there.

Dutchie...those fresh veggies juiced sound so good. I've never done that myself. They are great for you...:)

Jane...good workout!

Jeannette...I'll be joining you with HSC! I seem to enjoy circuits..

Elaine...glad to see another freestyler...:)...WOW...that is alot of snow!!

Mariángeles...you should check out the Freetyling rotations thread posted in this forum. Might give you some ideas if you don't want to buy the book..

So HSC for me today...

Have a great day ladies....:)...Carole

Okay, I did 100 walking lunges. I am not use to doing them so I thought I would start slow. I hope to build up to 200.

Yes Carole that was a lot of SNOW!! My kids and I had a lot of fun in it. Can't say the same for my husband. He only views snow as work. Poor guy :-(

Hi all, it has turned into a very stressful emotional day for me. A very sweet lady from our church died from complications of pneumonia after receiving chemo for her leukemia. She lost her dh 4 years ago and she isn't very old herself, they had no children.

But after crying, I did manage to do some weight work. I did Biceps and triceps off of the Pure Strength series and abs off of MIS.

I can't take much more so pray life calms down a little especially here with the holidays upon us!

Thanks

Hi Fit Chicks!

I'm late checking in today. I did PS: B/B/Abs and CTX: AllStep cardio only. I'm having to bump up my step to 8" for most workouts now. My knees aren't loving it, but otherwise I barely feel worked out.

Annette: I hope things get better for you soon...

Elaine: Great job on those walking lunges.

Carole: I love HSC!

Mariangeles: Your workouts rock girl!

Jeanette: Great workout...I hope HSC grows on you, it's one of my favs.

Jane: Nice mish-mosh!

Dutchie: Enjoy your new sofas! I'm shopping for furniture after the holidays.

Wendy: Glad you enjoyed your rest days.

Hello again.

I did Super Sets L/B Blast with light weights...what a BURN on that one! HOLY COW! I used light weights for the first 2 rounds and went even lighter yet on the 3rd round and was still feelin' it like crazy }( , C&W step only premix on a 6" step and LL ab work today.

Dutchie, I enjoyed my rest days immensely but that could have something to do with the fact that I was a busy bee over the weekend so I didn't have much down time to be thinking "oh, I should be working out right now!" LOL ;)

Carole, I am really liking freestyle...well, my version of it anyway! LOL It's fun and allows me lots of room to get "creative" with my work outs, especially when doing legs!:) It does take longer than a traditional rotation but so far so good. I am keeping up. I'm also not trying to do some ridiculous amount of cardio every day which helps the time factor a lot. I do about 30 minutes per day unless I find I have extra time! I responded to your post in the rotation forum, btw. Thanks for your input!

Enjoy your evening everyone! Great work outs!!!:)

Hi everyone!

I'm the late one again.

Wendy glad you are enjoying the freestyle.

So Carole: Do you like HSC. Interesting when I asked what to buy of the new series (I have LM, Imax3, KM) folks said GS over HSC.
Hmmm

I did S&H Legs and shoulders. This is my 10th week back. I want to get some more definition. I'm feeling about 80% back - not bad after over a year off I figure :)

Have a good night all

Robyn...if I wasn't one of those people I'd say GS over HSC!! HSC is a circuit workout and GS is a great collection of weight workouts, so it really depends on what you like best. Since you mostly have cardio from Hardcore I can see why people would say GS. Yes I do like HSC and most of Cathe's circuit workouts..:)...Carole
