Hi everyone,

Did MM-legs+KM leg drills, then MM-UB incl. abs. Nice workout. Inbetween loaded the washing machine and the dryer, and woke the kids ;-)

edited to add:
Guess what happened last night. We were all in bed by 10PM and I was fast asleep when the doorbel rang at midnight. My neighbour's cat had escaped and was on my roof and he wanted her back! He's 200 pounds overweight (my neighbour, not the cat, though the cat looks like the neighbour as it is overweight too!), so I offered to climb on my roof. Mind you I was in my PJ's and it was 1C. I "rescued" this fat cat and gave it to the neighbour (good thing I workout!) He was as happy as a little kid. He's in his late thirties but you know Jack from Will and Grace? Well kind a like that! So after having done my good deed of the month I went back to bed. But ofcourse I couldn't sleep! I watched part of the superbowl (never watched this sport before). What do they have on their faces? And a West Wing episode. At 2AM I turned the tv off, but I couldn't sleep. I thought about setting my alarm at 7AM instead of 5AM. But I told myself I wasn't a whimp and I got up as usual. I am sleepy now, but not tired ;-)

Have a great w/o everyone and a wonderful Monday!

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

My hip is still sore, so I think I'm going to bag my cardio for the day and just do 90XS/A.

Dutchie: Great workout today...sounds like a leg burner. You are a very nice neighbor...and brave too! Loved the visual...Jack from Will & Grace! What a hoot!:7 :7 :7

Jane: Hey there! MM is a great one! How are things going?

Hello to all that follow...it is back to work for me today...blech!x( x( x(

Morning everyone!

Dutchie - great story. My cat likes to get up on the roof too, and she used to meow piteously until my SO would get the ladder and get her down. Then I told him to leave her. She got up there, she can get down. And you know? She did;) And which particular thing on their face? They wear protective face guards on their helmets, and they wear black stuff around their eyes to cut the glare:)

Jane - Wow - quick post! Have fun with MM.

Last night I did Imax 3 warm-up and Blast only premix, then Bootcamp Cardio only and Bootcamp Core only premixes. I also did legs yesterday (squats, plie squats, walking lunges, one-legged lunges with back leg elevated, deadlifts, calf raises).

Today is Power Hour. First time trying this one:)

Have a happy Monday!

Hi, Everyone -

Today will be Imax 2. Whoopee - my favorite!!! I wish it was workout time right now.

I got some pretty good workouts in this weekend. Friday I tried Bootcamp for the first time - fun! I need to find some info on the premixes, like how long they each are.

Saturday I did Step Blast, PUB and CoreMax 2. Sunday I did KPC and Gym Style Legs ... yowza! My first time on that one. What a workout!!!

Happy Monday to everyone. (Yeah, right x( )

Hi everyone!

Dutchie You're a great neighbor! I hope "Jack" appreciates your middle of the night rescue!!

MM was on the rotation for today but we just did it a few days ago so I subbed MIS. Great choice for me. I hadn't done it in quite a while start to finish and I really enjoyed it.
I might add some stationary bike time later.

It's Monday & it feels like it ! I've had one of those everything- you- try- to- do- goes- wrong- kind of morning so far, but I feel much better POST WORKOUT, so hopefully it did the trick and things will start shaping up! (literally- ha!):p

Happy workouts and have a good day!!!

Hi Ladies.

Dutchie, funny story but I'd be pist if I went to bed early and then that happened and I couldn't sleep! Good for you being stubborn and getting up at 5am anyway!;)

Jane, enjoy MM! I don't have that one but I have the GS series and ME so I wonder if it's worth it to purchase? What do you think?

Shelley, wow, talk about needing leg day love last night! Holy cow! Any DOMS today?? }(

Tammy, enjoy your weight work out! Hope that hips feels better fast!

Shannon, have fun with IMAX 2. By the time I finish this Jan rotation I'll have done the Imaxes more times in one month than all of the rest of the times I've done them combined! AAAAH!}( :p

Becky, hope your day improves! I hate days like that!

So today for me is the Viper. The rotation calls for another HC Extreme work out but I don't have it so I'm subbing in Terminators. I purposely chose the viper cause for me it's the easiest of the three!:p

Have a good Wonderfulday if you can!:)

Morning ladies! This morning was BC. Yowza! It's been awhile since I've done this one. Wasn't feeling so well about an hour and a half ago, but I feel great now!

Saturday was NOT a good day eating wise for me! I have to make up for it this week. I can still feel the extra water weight!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Katie

Wendy - my legs are a feeling it just a little bit today. I realized halfway through the Imax 3 Blasts that I was using an 8" step. So I just kept going with it. Really added that extra oomph.

And I think that MM is definitely worth getting. It's a great total body workout, similar to ME but different enough to warrant having both. And there are some awesome premixes on it too:)

Thanks Shelley for the info on MM. I'll have to add it to my wish list!;-)

I can do Imax 2 on a 6" step but I am afraid to jump on the board at that height so I keep the jumps on the ground. I only do Imax 3 on 4" because there is SOOO much jumping on and off the board in that one that I fear I'd miss too much if I modified it. I can't believe you can do IMAXES on 8"! You da bomb!:+

I have tried LIS and LowMax on 8" so far...:)

Wow Dutchie, you had an exciting night or rather very early morning, I hope you can sleep tonight with no interruptions.

I did PUB warm up and biceps then did my Billy Blanks Lower body Bootcamp workout, I will be sore tomorrow lemme tell you!! It was all lower body no arms at all and I sweated too. I have alot of running around to do today, I am getting my mother's diamond ring appraised and then resized hopefully.

So I actually got up early to get my workout in and was done before 9:30 which here lately is good for me.

Hope you all have a great day!!!

:7

Good morning ladies

Good workout Dutchie. Funny story about rescuing your neighbors cat!

Jane, have fun with MM

Shelley...great workout last night...wow!! Power Hour is a great endurance workout, I don't even attempt to go heavy...:)

Tammy...sorry about your hip. I felt mine a little in my run yesterday but so far it feels good this morning

Shannon...you did some good workouts this weekend!! I have the time info on the BC premixes if you want to PM or email me I'll send them it you.

Becky...hope your day continues to shape up

Wendy...good choice, the Viper is fun!

Katie...I haven't done BC in ages...glad it helped you to feel better!

I am a bit wiped out from the run yesterday...on tap is P90X Core Syn and a 3 mile run....

Have a great day...:)...Carole

Good morning,

Yesterday was my rest day, so I didn't workout. But this morning I did GS Chest. Woohoo! I bit the bullet and finally tried it. I've been dreading all those push ups. Turns out, I really enjoyed the workout. I was able to do the first 42 with straight legs, went to my knees for the next 30, then back to straight legs for the 2 4/4 count push ups at the end. I stuck to 15lb dumbells for the rest of the workout. My chest is now very "pumped" (and by pumped, I mean that I can barely lift them as high as the keyboard to type :) ).

Tonight I will be doing Rhythmic Step, and if I have time, I'll do CoreMax 2.

Dutchie - what a story! On your roof at midnight!! That neighbour better bring you a nice apple pie or something for all your troubles. You asked yesterday how HSTA compares to BC. HSTA has five longer cycles, compared to BC's ten. The cardio segments are about 2 minutes long, versus BC's one minute, and they all involve the 8" mini-step. They remind me a lot of IMAX2 blasts. HSTA also doesn't have any explicit core work in it, although a lot of the moves use core work. I find the weight work in HSTA more challenging and thorough than in BC, but the cardio segments in BC harder than HSTA's. I find both workouts give me a great workout, and I can't choose between them which is "harder". Possibly BootCamp, due to all the weighted core work. But they're close, in my opinion.

Jane - have fun with MM! I love that workout!

Shelley - Freakin' h*ll!! How are you able to walk today??? And you're now going to do all that leg work in PH?? You are phenomenal! I bow to you! You have raised the bar on intense cardio!

Tammy - bummer news on your hip :( I hope you feel better soon.

Shannon - excellent workouts you've been doing! You must feel wonderful!

Becky - the first time I did MM, I thought it was like an updated version of MIS. Great substitution. I don't like doing the same workout more than once a week (or even once a month, actually), so I would probably have done the same thing. I hope your day improves. How's the grandson?

Wendy - IMO, MM and ME are very different workouts. MM is more heavy-lifting/strength orientated, while ME has more of a cardio/endurance factor. I think you should get MM :) Have fun with the Viper today. I haven't done that one in ages, but I remember that it was quite a challenge.

Katie - great work on BC! I need to give that one a whirl; it's been a while. It always leaves me feeling great, too. Doesn't your core feel 6 times tighter?

Carole - was the SuperBowl all that you'd hoped it would be?

Last night my 5 year old woke around midnight, and vomited all over the bed. She complained that her stomach hurt. I washed her and the bed up and we all got back to sleep; she hasn't puked since. I'm thinking it must have been the result of eating something bad, but I can't think of anything she's eaten that the rest of us haven't, and we're all fine. Is it possible for one person to be susceptible to food poisoning, and the rest to be able to resist it?
She's just gotten out of bed and told me that she feels much better and her stomach isn't hurting any more.

Have a great day,
Sandra

Dutchie thank you for the image of a 200 hundred pound cat on your roof. I laughed and laughed.

Tammy, I am so sorry your hip is sore. Rest it and take great care of your feet. Knee and hip trouble often start there. How old are your shoes?

Shelley, how's that PMS? I am sending you waves of ove to help y ou get through it.

Carole, Jane, Shannon, Becky, Wendy Katie, Annette, hi! :D Enjoy those workouts!

Sandra, how is your 5 year old this morning. Throwing up is dreadful and it's worse when you have to get up to deal with it! I hope she feels better soon. I think with food poisoning, if one person gets sick everyone who ate the tainted food will feel some effects but the smaller the person the more susceptible they may be?

I am taking a rest day! I knew I would know when it was needed. I have worked out two weeks straight. I did the advanced yoga class last night and we did a 14 minute headstand, a 12 minute shoulder stand and a 10 minute setu banda, or bound ankle pose which is simply to sit with heels together pulled toward your groins and stretch the adductors. I am particularly tight in the inner thighs and they are so sore as are my glutes so I am scratching Power Circuit and TS 5 legs and rearranging my workout schedule, probably just by rolling everythinng over to the next day and doing a workout on Saturday which is supposed to be yoga only.

DOMS!

Sandra - I'm so sorry to hear that your DD wasn't well. There's nothing quite like washing out pukey sheets at 3 a.m., is there? I'm glad she's better today.

Bobbi - a 14 minute headstand? YIKES!:p

Good Morning all

I have Muscle Max and Hip hugger abs on my schedule today. I think I need a cup of java first ! Have a good workout everyone !

Shelley, I'm 2 inches shorter! :D We did variations, including full lotus. I love that I can get into a full lotus while standing on my head.

Lisa, I love your avatar photo. It's beautiful and has a very elegant, 50's look about it.

Good evening fitness buddies....

Sorry about the short post this morning...LOL... it was short and to the point wasn't it Shelley. I posted that when I had about five minutes left before I had to go to work and I hadn't even brought up my work computer! I woke up at 2 this morning (back into insomnia mode, I'm afraid, last night was night #3 of no more than 5 or 6 hours sleep!). I got up around 3:15 and got most of my housecleaning done.

Wendy - MM is something you NEED! I have ME, GS's, and MIS but MM is just so different. I didn't sub it today on the rotation although we've already done it one because the time just flies on that one. It is now my favorite total body w/o.

Tammy - everything is going fine, how about you?

Sandra - sorry about your daughter. I'm glad it was shortlived though and she is feeling better.

Dutchie - I wanted to comment on your escapades on the roof when I read them this morning but didn't have time. I'm sure that was a sight!!

Hey Carole, Bobbi and everybody else, sorry if I missed somebody!

I did Muscle Max this afternoon. I'm off work tomorrow and it is a rest day and I have an 11:00 appt for a deep tissue massage in the morning. Now it doesn't get any better than that! Now if I can only sleep tonight!
