Morning all!

Well, last night I did Lowmax and once again it snuck up on me and kicked my butt:)

I'm not sure what to do today. I am going out dancing tonight (probably will be dancing for about 4 hours). I think that I probably don't need to do cardio today (BodyMax is on the schedule), but I might just do some upper body work.

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today I'm planning on CoreSyn and a light treadmill run. I picked up my custom orthotics and I'm trying to 'break' them in.

Shelley: Have a great time dancing tonite. I can't imagine dancing all nite after BodyMax:eek:

Sandra: I love the GS...they are just fantastic workouts. Those slow motion lunges are torture for me!

Carole: How is your 90x rotation coming along?

Wendy: You're doing great girl!

Good Morning Friends In Fitness!!

TGIF !!!!

Today is short cardio...Imax2 w/u & 1-3, Imax#3 4-6, 60 seconds of Plie jacks, c/d & stretch.
The plan WAS to add PUB to that, but since dd is home from school sick again & I need to get her into the doctor...I'll have to see what time permits.

Yesterdays dental appointment went fine. I now have a temporary crown and a sore jaw. :eek:

Today was SS premix (60 minutes) then I did all the corework afterwards.

I have a little DOMS in almost every body part (especially lower body!) at this point!:eek: I hope I survive!

A big HELLO to everyone!

I've been lurking daily and have late appointments today so thought I'd join in today 'cause I had a great workout this a.m.

I warmed up with KPC until the drills then did the CK drills followed by PUB. I want to try the first part again as I was interrupted by workmen doing plumbing and drywall in the room next to my w/o space. I felt kind of silly doing the CK jab drills with an audience so I cut it short and started PUB. My arms already have a nice tingle in them }(

Shelley have fun shakin' your LowMax toned booty on the dance floor:)

Tammy, we do orthotics in the clinic I work at and it takes some people a while to get comfortable while others feel great right away. I hope you are the latter.:)

Becky, I've had one crown and hope it's the last. I refer to it as my $1 000.00 praline as I broke the tooth eating ice cream of all things. Hope your jaw feels better soon.

Conni, have fun with RS, one of my stepping faves!

Wendy, I love LG, who knew hard work could be so fun.

Hey Carole! That sounds like a great lower body workout, maybe one of these day I'll bite the bullet and order P90X.

Morning ladies! Today was Leaner Legs followed by the first 5 intervals of IMAX. My legs are FRIED!!! I swear, Leaner Legs just never gets any easier. I always feel so bad after it's done for all the mean things I say to Cathe while I'm doing it.}(

Today is usually pizza night at our house, but NOT tonight! No more Friday night pizza. At least not for awhile!

Good morning,

Last night I did Lowmax and once again it snuck up on me and kicked my butt:)

Yesterday morning I did GS Biceps and finished off my first time through the GS series. By last night DOMS from GS Legs had really crept into my lower body, and the rest of the series was making my upper body feel pretty sore, so I wasn't sure I was going to be able to make it through all of LowMax. But once I got started, the workout sucked me in and I completed it. I love a workout that has a high level of cardiovascular intensity, but is so kind to the joints.

Shelley - have fun dancing your tail off. You could always start a new dance craze and through in a few pushups every so often on the dance floor.

Tammy - I hope your orthotics work well. Have a nice treadmill run. And I'm still feeling those slow-motion lunges!

Becky - that's short cardio - but very intense! Can you really do 60 seconds of plie jacks, especially right after having done all those in IMAX3??? Wowza!! Take care of your tooth.

Conni - nice weekend plans. Enjoy!

Wendy - I hope you survive, too! The boards wouldn't be the same without you. What hi/lo do you plan to do? I'm glad you got through yesterday's workout in tact. That's unfortunate about your knee, but at least you're listening to your body when it starts to squawk. I'm sure your lower body is a ball of aches these days. Your rest day will be well deserved!

Carole - how crazy am I that I would like to do GS Legs again today?? I'm not going to, mind you! Have a good workout today!

Laurie - hello! So you're doing some renos on your new home? Your workout today was very creative, as usual. I always feel a bit self-conscious doing those CK drills, too.

Katie - I did the Jan '04 rotation over a year ago, and I STILL remember the day I did LL and IMAX 1-5! I was soooo proud of myself for getting through that. Good for you!!!

Pamela - don't apologize for your posts! I loved hearing about your run yesterday. It's fantastic when it all comes together like that. It's quite an accomplishment to be able to run for 30 minutes! Here's a big High-Five to you!!

Bobbi - I'm taking a bite from your book today and doing a TimeSaver Mish Mosh. That's such a versatile dvd, isn't it?

Today I'm doing a home made workout that uses the TimeSaver dvd to combine the combos of Step Blast and the KPC intensity drills:

SB warm up;
SB combo 1;
KPC intermediate drills;
SB combo 2;
KPC high intensity drills;
SB combo 3;
KPC abs and stretch.

Laurie, I know what you mean. I've been having work done at my house for the past year, and it's really awkward when they need to come in the house while I'm in the middle of a workout.

Hi Again !

I did my workout, short cardio and Sandra- I made it 50 seconds on the Plie jacks and just couldn't go 10 more seconds!!!:eek: Not after Imax3 !!!
But I did PUB too, so it was a crazy good workout!}(

Then took DD to the dr. and she is on steroids, and a cream for the worlds worse cold sore (she gets HORRIBLE ones several times a year and her whole bottom lip swells so big she can't eat! Even her dr. and all the nurses in the office come to look because they've never seen a cold sore so big and awful ). and the same infection this time caused red bumps all over her torso, which the steroids should also take care of. Poor kid is miserable. She JUST got over the flu!

Well anyway it IS FRIDAY and I am grateful for that!!!!:7
Thanks for all the well wishes. The jaw will be fine and DD is on her way to recovering, so things are looking up!:7
 
Hi all,

I broke down and bought more Taebo tapes, gotta change things up somehow and I can't comfortably do step anymore so I got 2 new ones to try. I did PUB chest today along with one of my new taebos called Taebo Fat Blasting, and I used weighted gloves since I don't have the bands. It was a killer and I was sweating pretty good. The other one is longer and I will have to do it on a week that I don't do weights along with cardio. The one today was 45 min.

Well, it appears that today is turning into a rest day for me...I just don't have the time....:-(

But along with the IMAX 3 that I missed, I WILL make today's work out up at the end of the rotation!}(

Hi, kids! What a crazy day! I worked otu wnet and had my crown reglued and am so far behdn it's not funny. The DH managed to get an earlier flight so I hedded off to the airport to pick him up which is great since I didn't want to go out there at 10:00 PM. I barely had time to make the house look presentable after te dentist and before going to pick him up so I am going to finish up my housework so he doesn't know how much housework hooky I played all week in his absence. Our secret, okay?

I did TS 2 warm up & cardio (SB and SJP), then I did CTX Power Circuit and the TS 2 back and core strength training. I was dripping sweat. It was really fun and I loved it although I have to wonder why I don't just do the actual workouts since I want more cardio. I could still do the strength work. But my one and tow body parts per day weeks are through so it's a moot point. I hope you are having a lovely day. I am off to clean! :) Or should that be =(?
