Hi gals,

Today I taught my disco circuit workout to 5 ladies for 53 minutes.

Before that I had done 30 minutes of heavy barbell work and after class I did 10 minutes of abs and floorwork legs and stretch.

I had no time to stay after class for a full weight workout so we went early, youngest son had a dentist appointment.

Hey gang, I did a mix of Step, Jump and Pump, Party Rockin Step, and Step Moves. Again the HR was high. Like upper 170s at one point. Usually it's in the 140s.

Annette - you always manage so much! I am lucky if I have an hour on weekdays with everything else going on.

Missy - I forget, is that your name or a nickname?
Your workout mix sounds right up my alley, but strange with the HR. You sure it's not your monitor acting up?

Country Heat arrived today so I did the first workout. I did both the breakdown and the routine, but the breakdown was a complete waste of time. Seriously! In the routine Autumn also breaks it down demonstrating each move while the rest of us side step and then you repeat it 8times 8 count, then another move, the same way and then you combine those w 8 counts twice. So very simple and more like low impact moving to music than dancing. For all the other dvd's I will skip the breakdown and just do the routine. It wasn't bad, but also not love at first try. Who knows what the rest are like. Will be trying them while I don't feel up for intense workouts.

Missy is short for Melissa. My last name isNorman now. I got married in august.

I'm definitely feeling like my hr is that high. Very labored. So I back off. My resting hr is higher than normal too. But it varies.
 
Hey everyone. Congrats Melissa. Your 1 year anniversary will be here before you know it! Henriette, I hope you like the workouts. I love a new workout and you have to go easy on yourself. All those BB practices count too. More and more I have found myself weary in the morning. I used to have so much more energy but these days, not so much. It's all good though, I'm getting older and need to be smarter about what I do. I'm happy for what I can do. Some days I'm an animal other days a sloth.
 
Melissa - How exciting nearing the year mark! Was it a big change getting married?

Peg - it's nice of you to say my bball trainings count, but lately I have been really just walking back and forth telling the kids what to do and not joining in. I guess there is just a lot going around, my cold and heavy head are still sticking with me. And yesterday my son came down with a fever, so I am real lucky I have the option to work from home when needed.

Adding on to my day of little movement... Working from home means barely any walking all day, after the Country Heat we had dinner and then we went for a walk, so I managed my 10.000 steps after all. Yeah!

Today I did STS Meso 2 - legs - essentially cardio leg blast for 45 minutes. I love STS and Cathe is in amazing shape in these.

Today, I did Barlates/Linda weightless Arms ( 24 mins) & a At The Wall yoga practice for 30 minutes.

Hi girls, great workouts! I was off today so got my hair trimmed and ended up doing a PHA workout, blender mix.
