Daily Check in Christmas Eve 2015

Good Morning Everyone,

So happy to check in on Christmas Eve with all of you.

Today I did Slow & Heavy Chest/back (1/2 of back) + arms/abs segments from Signature Sculpt + 5 minutes of TTapp.

It's gonna be warm today. I might just wear flats with no socks.
I work today until 1pm and will go to the 5 mass after that with kids. We are having homemade fish and chips tonight, turkey tomorrow.

Annette - What helps for me is..... a modified paleo diet. I no longer eat bread, pasta, rice or potatoes on a regular basis. In fact, I barely touch them. As we age we can develop insulin resistance and just can't manage carbs like before. I used to eat sprouted breads etc... but no more. I eat a high protein, fruit/veg dense diet. I get my carbs from veg's/fruit now. I make a lot of soups, smoothies and snack on carrots and hummus (watch the carbs here). I have even started making my own crackers from seeds and water. very easy. lotsa recipes on line that are low carb and filling. Good luck. You've been working hard! For the record I am 49, 5'5 and weigh around 130 pounds. I wear a size - 26-27 waist jean - if yoga jeans, 25 and they still stretch???? I was always a bit pudgy until around age 37 - when I got more committed to weight training. TMI.

You have a great diet plan, Siobhan. I also try to limit sweets, it is my big downfall. I am also 130, 5 ft 6 inches, and wear a size 4. .I do eat some carbs, my dance schedule requires it, I get too busy to eat which is a problem I love, lololol.
Today I just finished Cathe Live ICE Bootcamp-literally live! So much fun to know I was with my gals in Jersey now..

My issues are nothing has taste so the texture has to be palatable for me to eat it. I no longer eat cookies or crackers or pasta (just nasty with no taste). I can tolerate bread. The only regular protein I can tolerate is chicken and peanut butter if on bread. Or crackers peanut butter is just too dry and of course tasteless.

I no longer eat ground beef or turkey (just feels like grains of sand in my mouth) , most ham is lifeless and of course I can't taste the salt . Steak is just a tasteless piece of rubber once the juie is gone. Even before this I wasn't the best veggie eater.

Oh and I am 51.

Today was 30 minutes of the Advanced Taebo #11 then did a new one called ' Insane Abs' which is Taebo also. It was 49 minutes long and really good incorporates cardio into the ab routine.

Hi all, sweets are my weakness too. Apart from that I eat pasta no more than once a week, rarely touch rice and eat very little bread, eat whole grain Wasa instead. At lunch I always eat a mixed salad with avocado, fruit, eggs, salmon or cheese. I have cut out of my diet yogurth and mozzarella cheese. I try to eat fish more often then meat and meat is usually turkey or chicken. I eat lots of almonds and walnuts. I use only extra-0live oil to flavour my food. That seems to be working for me.
TOday i did intensity: step, hiit low impact and boot camp. Happy Christmas eve!
