Good Morning everyone!

No joke...

Yesterday I did some running for abit, but previously did Legs & Glute day before so hamstrings were burning for sure.
Feeling like a million bucks again today and will do Tri's/Bi's and Boot Camp.

Good Morning Charlotte and everyone!

Last night I did the PUB Down Only Premix then I decided to give All Step a shot again I STILL can't do it!!! lol I don't know why! I can do Step Blast, I can do Power Max, I can do the step from Cardio and Weights and SJP...but I just can not do All Step SO I got about 1/2 way through it, got mad and threw in the step portion of 10*10*10 to finish up my cardio for the night instead! :)

Wasn't gonna exercise today but I think I can squeeze it in...it's a cardio only day.

Today is filled with free diagnostics (MRI, ultrasound, mammogram(for the first time-yuck) for a breast cancer study that I am enrolled in, so I dont know what workout I may or may not be able to fit in. I would work out now, but I am a little nervous for some reason. It's not like I have cancer, but all this screening gets one thinking negatively. When its all over though; I am going to try very hard to do CM, core, and definitely stretchMax later this afternoon. What I really would like is a massage-maybe tomorrow.

Hey, All!
Today was 45 min. yoga. It is my off day, and the stretching is just great on these tired muscles. It somehow pumps life back in them, so I can start fresh again tomorrow.
WOW! Ya'll would not believe how much it has rained here. I don't just mean rain-it's pouring. They have called for flash flood & severe thunderstorms. My yard is a swimming pool. My son and I are supposed to get our teeth cleaned, but I don't know. I might need a boat to get there!!!

Good morning, all!

Suzanne, you should definitely get a massage this weekend! I had my first mammogram last year and it wasn't bad as I thought it was going to be....it just made me feel OLD!

Stayfit, I hope you feel better soon.

This morning I took the dogs for a short walk and tonight I'm doing Muscle Max. I'm stopping at Wal-Mart and maybe SportsMart on the way home to look for supplies like a high step, dumbbells, etc.

Carla - where do you live at?? We never worry about flash floods here, just tornadoes. Weird how you adjust to different environments - flash flood warnings would scare me to death!

Today is a weightlifting day. I scheduled to do ME, but I might switch and do PUB and PLB up only. I got a set of 20 pound dumbbells and cannot wait to use them and I think PUB would be a better choice and my legs are fried from running and I ended up doing Kick max yesterday too - love that workout! I am still waiting on my order for KPC and Legs and Glutes and its been a weeks since I ordered it - they do take forever!!!!!!!x(

Mariangeles - Get some rest, I look forward to your workouts next week - you inspired me to get the Terminator DVD and I miss your posts! Hang in there :)
 
Wendy- don't get discouraged. I have the same problem when I do PUB with the part when Cathe has a set of 20's in each hand for bench press. One arm works and the other won't go up at all. LOL. Frustrating and have to keep rewinding the tape and keep trying.

Mariangeles- hope you feel better soon. :)

Gonna get alot of rain here too in Virginia, but very sunny and just gorgeous right now!

Good morning!

Last night the whole family went for a bike ride. Only the 3rd time we have been able to so far. We decided to tackle two fairly steep hills. I thought I was going to die! I would have been fine but I had a cart hooked up to my bike with my three year old son inside. What a difference it makes with the all that extra weight behind you! Will have to try it again! Hee hee hee! One of these times I will make it up both without breaking a sweat or panting like a dig. LOL!

Not sure what I am going to do today. Would like to get an ab workout in but cannot decide what else.

Mariangeles - take care of yourself and don't rush back into anything!

Wendy - I think it's fantastic that you're working out at all. When I was pregnant, I lay around like a beached whale for 9 months!

Suzanne - I started having mammograms in my twenties. They're uncomfortable, but not bad apart from that. Good luck!

Tonight I am going to do Step Blast and KPC abs.

Hello all you buff ladies,

Today is the warmest day of the year so far:)

Tue - L&G + PS back/biceps
Wed - Imax2 intervals 1-5 + CTX Leaner Legs
Thu - PS upper body (all of it) + 5K tempo run.
Fri - Imax2 interval6-9 + PS-Legs + 11K inline skating (great relaxing ride)

Read somewhere that running slow puts more weight on your leg which can be a factor in shin splints, so during my run yesterday I started out as usual, nice and easy. And my lower leg played up again, then after 7 minutes I increased speed gradually and my leg was fine. At the 4K mark I slowwed down again and my leg played up again. Strange huh? When I was running fast, my HR was at 180 and I know I can't keep that up for my long run tomorrow. So, have to wait and see how it goes.

Hello to all!!

Happy April Fools day everyone!!! LOL

Last night was P90X: Yoga X with my hubby Tom, he did very well considering he is not very flexible..I love him so much!! He looks so darn sexy since he has lost weight, he is now down to 200 lbs and look great!! His goal is 190 lbs!! I am so proud of him because he is working so hard eating clean and exercising!! I like Yoga so much I would like to try some other types..any good suggestions?

Today was:
P90X: Legs and back and Ab ripper X..which was super hard as my abs and legs are still sore from Wed!! The burn is good!!!

I love P90X, I can already see changes in my body...esp my abs and arms!!! Unreal!!! I am completely out of my comfort zone, as I have always been a 5 days a week 60-90 minutes cardio queen for ages!! This week I have only done cardio 3 days 35-40 minutes, and I plan on doing 25 minutes of HIIT Saturday morning before work, and Sunday will be a rest day...I feel great!!! I know now that I was in the over training mode, with my 60-90 minutes of cardio and then a 45-60 minute weight routine after my cardio! Oh well we all learn the blunders of out ways....

Yes ma'am. I weighed 208 lbs when I was 9 months pregnant. However, having a colicky baby goes a long way towards getting rid of excess weight.;)

I loved your post! How sweet that you can workout with your husband! Sorry I can't give you any yoga advice....I have only tried yoga once or twice but am now thinking that I need to incorporate it more into my rotations.

I just found out what P90X was today and studied the website so I was really interested to hear how you like the program and how it's working for you. It sounds like you are getting great results! How long have you been on the program? Do you find the diet hard to follow? It sounds like something I might want to try down the line a bit.

A colicky baby :eek: ...that is one thing I am sooo not hoping for!

I don't know if I was colicky per say, but at the very least, I was a SUPER cranky baby!! I used to torment my mother being up screaming and crying all of the time....I can't help but think it's gonna come back around to bite me in the a$$ when my baby is born....lol

My sister gained a lot of weight during her first pregnancy-she was over 200 as well. She managed to get rid of it all including the 15 pounds she put on when she got married! It was quite impressive! But then she had another baby, and another, and another...shall I continue? LOL And after popping out 6 all together, she just hasn't made it back down to that weight again. She looks great just the same though!:)

Just got done not too long ago with KPC premix # 4...no abs tho.:)
Gotta jump in the shower now...expecting company in about an hour or so! Having 2 girlfriends over for dinner and an "estrogen fest" Wa Hoo! My DH is not gonna be around much this evening...I wonder why!?!? LMAO! }( :p :7
