daily check in 7/26 tuesday

I don't see a post yet today so I will start.

My WO will have to be later. My kitties kept me up last night. After our family being away all weekend, they were really wanting attention. They, Rocky & Apollo kept jumping on our bed and calling us. Finally I went to see if they could get out through their kitty door. They could, but they wanted me to watch them play with their toy mouse! It was like a night of being up with a baby! I haven't had to do that in many years.

Oh, later my WO will be GS Back, and I will try CTX Power Circuit segment. My heel is feeling better, so I am ready to try step again. I am still trying to get in an endurance leg segment each day, 30" cardio and one upper body part via GS.

Good Day to all who follow.:)

Hi Judy and the rest that follow,

Last night: KPC

Tonight: something less intense due to the heat

Judy, I used to have a cat, Pugsley, that kept me up all night because he wanted to play and not just after I was away for a few days. He would actually snub me for a day or too if I had the audacity to go away for more than a day. He was a great cat, nutty and energetic, but great.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning Fit Ladies!

IM#3 for me today...

Judy: cute story!

Hello to all that follow...have a great day!

Tammy

Morning all!

Today will be KPC w/ 1lb weighted gloves and ME I think. Stay cool everybody :)

Good morning fabulous fitness folks.....

Well, I changed my mind yesterday and decided to stick with the generic rotation I'd made up instead of trying to play catch-in from last week. Yesterday was strength/endurance day, so instead of BodyMax, I did PLB and CoreMax #2. I did all of the knee roll-ins AND all of the side-to-side knee roll-ins, yes I did!! No pikes yet, maybe one of these days. Another reason I ditched BodyMax was that I didn't want to work upper body, was still a little sore from the those GS's on Saturday.

Today is steady state cardio and core. Haven't decided yet what that will be.

Laurie - in answer to your question on yesterday's check-in thread, RA stands for rheumatoid arthritis. Do you have another day planned today like yesterday?!!

Have a wonderful day everybody!

What's Happening, Ladies!?

This is the last week of summer vacation for my boys! We are busy shopping for school stuff. They are going to a new school this year! We are so excited and a little sad. They have to make all new friends!

Today LL, abs, run, & SM 3.

Have a fantastic day!

Hi good morning, today I will do hi/low heaven and Yoga P90X. Have a great day everybody.

Mariángeles a spanish terminator and TAEBO junkie. :)

Hi ladies.

It's supposed to be another scorcher here in Jersey today so this mamma isn't setting foot outside for most of the day!

I have KPC in mind for today...it's a cardio day according to my home-made rotation!

Well, Joey is calling me so I must go!

He spent his 2nd night in his own room last night, BTW! I got up to check on him twice during the night. Hi, my name is Wendy and I'm a paranoid mom! LOL :p

TTYL! Have a good day!

Hi, everyone -
Thanks for the welcome yesterday, by the way.

Today will be KPC and abs, and I might throw in some walking lunges if I have time.

It'll be a busy day at work, slaving in front of the computer. I look forward to working my tail off tonight. And hopefully I'll have some time at lunch to stretch. I have a nice little secluded spot on an unfinished floor of a new building... works great, until people move into it!

Good morning everyone!

Well today I rebelled. Maybe I will blame it on our 105 degree heat index here in Ohio, but I just didn't want to do Imax 3 today, which was on my rotation. Instead I did Phillip Gray Step to be Fit, which was a fun steady state step workout with a short ab section.
I am just such a rebel, I guess...

Have a great day all, I will have to get back on the interval boat Thursday with Lowmax, so hopefully I won't poop out again!

Good morning!

Judy...cute about your kitties. They do need extra attention when you have been gone it seems...:)..Nice to hear your heal is better..

Cathy...I did KPC yesterday. I think it is my fav of Cathe's kickboxing. Hot here too in fact it seems hot everywhere!!

Tammy...have fun with Imax3!

Debbie...I think KPC is much more effectiver with a bit of weight..

Jane...good job on Caoremax and the roll in's. I bet you will get the pikes soon, it just takes practice and not working your arms first!! I like KPC abs with the pikes as Cathe alternates a roll in and then a pike.

Carla...looks like a tough workout.

Mariángeles...enjoy P90X Yoga...

Wendy...that is cool Joey is sleeping in his own room, but yes tough for Mom...:)

My back is sore from PUB yesterday...yeow! I am doing my Freestyle legwork, 5 mile run (before it gets hot!) abs and then Shoulders, bi's and tri's..

Have a great day...:)...Carole

Hi Everybody!
I feel like I am late today, you all must have gotten an extra early start!
This morning, in honor of breaking 100 degrees here in Ohio yesterday, I did STEP HEAT.:p I thought it was appropriate. Also did GS shoulders & biceps. It was a good sweatfest even with central air chuggin' away and a fan directed on me , set on high!!

Have a happy day everyone!:)

Good morning everyone!

I was away for the weekend, but still managed to sneak in some workouts. Friday was a forced rest day, as it was our travelling day.

Saturday, I did KPC. I had no stability ball, so I had to modify the ab work, but it was great anyway.

Sunday, I tried to do KM, but couldn't figure out how to work the DVD player, so I ended up doing a sort of shortened version of KPC, no abs. Then when everyone came back from their boat ride (I don't go far in the boat, as I get very motion sick), my friend's 12 year old daughter wanted to watch one of my workouts, so I put on KM (after figuring out how to work the DVD player!) and we basically did the whole thing together! Me and the three kids! It was awesome. Then we did some push ups and stretching.

Last night after we got home, I did Imax Extreme - cardio only.

Tonight I'm trying GS Chest & Tris for the first time! Wish me luck:)

Morning Everyone,

Today will be S&H Legs, and a run.

Wendy, welcome to the paranoid mother club. Wait until your DS is convinced that you have eyes in the back of your head. My DD's actually have looked for them. :D

I was forwarded a picture of my oldest DD from the faire. Our children are photographed all the time. We are not allowed to carry cameras during the performance so I rely on others to capture images. Hope this works.

Have a great day!

Shelley,

Thank you, I think she is a beauty also. But then I'm her Mom, so I guess I'm biased.

Actually, my hubby is the one who constructs the clothing. I sew also, but I do the chemises (white shirts), beading, and hats.

This has been working well for us.

Laurie Mac

Happy Tuesday!

This morning I did PLB. I may not be able to walk tomorrow. ;) So if you don't hear from me tomorrow, it's because I could never get out of bed.

Good morning,

This morning I did SB combos 1 & 2, and the abs from Christie Taylor's Totally Cool Step. Short and sweet 45 min workout. I can't wait to be able to do SB as produced again.

Wendy - I did that PUB/PLB premix last week for only the second time since I bought the dvd. I really liked it. It gives a very good total body workout in an hour. How old is Joey now? Is he sleeping through the night on a regular basis? You're a normal mom, not paranoid at all!

Katie - way to go with your workouts and weight loss! Shopping for smaller clothes is always fun!!

Mariángeles - I'm glad to see you're enjoying the P90X series so much, after the hassles you had regarding your credit card charges.

Judy - I have no doubt that it was challenging to run after some of those lower body segments!! What a creative workout. Good for you! How sweet that your kitties missed you so much. Too bad they couldn't have picked a better time to show it!

Foodie Sue - I really like Step Works, too. It's an oldie but a goodie.

Laurie - thank you for your words of support! It's hard to make the mental adjustment to 'scaling back', but physically I think it's probably time. Your day yesterday sounded terrific!!! My mind is very forgetful, but did you go to the provincial park that is about a 45 minute drive from Kingston? Is it called Frontenac Provincial Park? If so, I used to hike through that park quite a lot. I miss all the lakes and parks that are within driving distance of Kingston. The Canadian Shield, the loons, the beavers, and the fall foliage make that one of the most beautiful parts of Canada, IMO. I'm definitely coming back for a visit one of these days!!!

Jane - that's quite a great accomplishment with CM#2! You'll be doing the pikes before you know it.

Conni - I've never even heard of Philip Grey! Can you tell me a bit about him/his workouts?

Carole - it's not hot here. It's very comfortable; a typical Edmonton summer. We need to wear jackets at night and in the early morning, but have to open the windows and put shorts on by about 10am. It's the perfect summer weather, IMO. Come for a visit! We are currently hosting the World's Masters Games, and there are sporting events going on all over the city, until the end of the month. DH just rode in the Cycling Time Trial last Saturday. The half-marathon is scheduled for either the 30th or the 31st (can't remember). Wanna run it?

Becky - LOL! Step Heat sounds about perfect! Now you need to do either Christie Taylor's Totally Hot Cardio, or Totally Cool Step.

Shelley - great workouts for a travel weekend. You were in the Muskoka's, right? Lucky you!! Did you jump off some Canadian Shield, too?

Laurie Mac - love the photo! Thanks for sharing. Your daughter looks beautiful. Does she have a love of the theatah? How did you post a picture directly on the forum?

Have a good day everyone!
