Today for me will be IM2, and tonight I am going to try a second workout of GS:Chest/Tri and CoreMax.

Mariangeles, sorry your back is still bothering you. There is nothing worse: the pain and not being able to workout.


Today I am doing Imax 3 again. I'm going to add 10 minutes of moderate cardio between the warmup and the first interval. As I get older, I just can't do that kind of high impact with a longer warmup.

Tracy-We are getting snow here also (in eastern PA) in about 3 hours. On the IMax workouts, sometimes I feel like I need a longer warm up too. (It's not just age I don't think. LOL)

Carla-PLB is my favorite lower body. Great workout for you too.

As for me, I didn't check in here for February at all...no reason...just because. But I am back. I am loosely following Cathe's Fat Loss March rotation she posted. I changed it a bit to incorporate other of her workouts (I'd get bored doing just the Hardcore). Anyway, this morning was Cross Train Express Upper body segment, and my arms are really feeling it now. It's only the second upper body workout I've done since my wrist surgery in December. Feels good!

My week this week:
Sun: Power Max (done)
Mon: CTX Upper (done)
Tue: IMax 3
Wed: Leaner Legs
Thu: Hardcore Extreme of choice
Fri: Muscle Max
Sat: Off or Stretch Max

Had a busy weekend, so no w/o's for me.;( Went to the Circus on Saturday. It was fun. Then yesterday was church followed by a trip to Lindhurst, IL for a meeting. Didn't get home until after 7pm. So now I have to work off that extra eating out that happened. :9

Good Morning everyone!

So tonight I am up in the air as to what I want to do...Do you think it's okay to follow up Supersets with a circuit work out like Cardio and Weights the very next day? I am not suffering from DOMS but I don't want to push it....should I just do straight cardio tonight? My focus is weight training this month and I'm having a hard time figuring out the best way to set up a rotation so that all of my muscle groups get a sufficient work out each week with out over doing it...Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Good Afternoon all,

Mariángeles, hope your back gets better soon.

Didn't do much over the weekend, just 30min on the elliptical cause my kids are in bed with the flu. You know what that means, up and down the stairs with hot drinks, juice, light meals, cut up fruit, etc. They are 14 and 12yo but when they're sick, they turn into little helpless baby's ;-) They are feeling better today, but still have a fever.

Today I did L&G and maybe tonight I can climb on my elliptical again.

Wendy-I think you'll be fine following up with C&W today. Just don't overdo it on the weights...keep them lighter.

Good Morning ,Just checking in . I got up early and did Imax 3 and Workout #1 in Core Max . It felt great . Gotta lot to learn in Imax3 though !!! But Its fun . I might do some Tae Bo Later today ... Cathe in the Am .Have a great day ladies And you guys out there too .:) :) :)
 
Good morning ladies!!

This weekend at work was a breeze, as we were not busy at all!! The baby rush is going to hit any day now, as it has been too slow for too long!! Labor and delivery is always feast or famine..LOL. Heck it was so slow I was able to workout with a co-worker for about 30 minutes, it was fun!!!

Mariángeles: I am sorry to hear that you are still in pain with your back, have you seen a doctor about your back?

Tammy: I was also thinkning of doing IMax 2 today..LOL Great exercise minds think alike..LOL. I like how you are doing one workout in the morning and then one later in the day.

Tracy: I don't blame you, all that impact can make your knees and back sore..Have a great workout!

Carla: Wow Carla!!! Great workout! 15lb dumbells...YOU GO GIRL!!

Laurie Mac: Yeah those busy weekends can get to you! The circus sounds like fun!! Sounds like you will work off any extra popcorn and or candy with Kickmax and Core max!

Wendy: I think you would be fine to follow up with a circuit work out like cardio and weights, however I agree with Gayle about lighter weights.

Mary: IMax 3 is great in the am, that is great that your going to do more working out later today.

Dutchie: I am sorry that your kids are sick, I hope they get better soon! Thankfully we have warded off the flu bug so far.... I hope.My goodness you are getting a great workout going up and down those stairs all day!!

Today was:
SJP: Step and hi/lo cardio circuit: 60 minutes. This was my first time using this workout!! Choices, choices and more choices.. WOW!!I loved this workout!! Very fun!
Super sets: Lowerbody premix: 33 minutes! This was the first time that I ever did this workout as well! My legs were Dying on the last set of each round!!!!!Wahoooo!! Felt great!

Good Morning everyone! I have no clue what I will be doing for a rotation. Maybe Feb 2005 for weight loss?? I am looking at a couple different ones right now, will let ya know! I need to lose about five pounds more is all and then work on getting great definition! Any suggestions!??

Wendy - hmmmmmmm C& W sounds like fun! Maybe I should do that one today until I figure out my rotations!

I did PUB and CTX biceps then did CTX Kickbox for cardio.:D No workout on Saturday due to other events going on.

Mariángeles, sorry your back is still bugging you. Have you seen a Doctor or Chiropractor?

Tracy...that is a great idea doing a longer warm-up before Imax3! If my legs are kinda stiff I have warmed up on my Nordic track 5-10 min before I head out the door!

Gayle...looks like a great rotation.

Wendy...I think it would be okay to do Cardio & Weights after SS. If you feel tired just don't do the whole workout...

Dutchie...sorry about the boys being sick. I am getting over the bug too, seems like the cough likes to linger though..

Reba...eating clean has always helped me with weight loss and definition.

Wanted to let you all know Josie has been VERY busy at work and will post here when she can...she says "Hi" to all of you!

My legs were very tired from the 20 miler yesterday...I did the first 5 intervals from Lowmax this morning . This afternoon I'll do the other 3 intervals from Lowmax and some Taebo. Then PUB shoulders, tris and bis plus a section of Coremax...have a great day....:)...Carole
 
Good afternoon, ladies:

I have been in absentia due to a bout of the FLU that is just killing me. I don't know what is worse, the headache or the stomachache or the desire to do NOTHING BUT LIE ON THE COUCH IN FRONT OF THE TV! This is so anti-me, ugh. I also note with interest what a hard time I have taking care of myself properly. If this was one of my kids (well, it was both of them last week, lol), I would be babying them and making soup and tea, etc... but because it's me I feel like I should get up and do something. Ah, well. Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day.

Mariangeles, I do hope you have gone to a doctor since you have been in so much pain for so long. :-(

Hello:

Today I'm on the third day of the #3 March rotation, so I did Kickmax, the first time in it's entirety. It's 11 hours later and my legs and lower back are still killing me.

Happy workouts for all you evening exercisers!
