Hi good morning. I have just done the TAEBO total body fat blasting. It has been a great workout. I love TAEBO and I am agree with Billy when he says: You have to give to get some. It is so true. Today I have to go to the wedding celebration of one of my cousin. I will miss you there my fitness friends. Have a great Saturday day everybody.

Mariangeles: Have fun at your cousin's wedding! I am going to try my first Taebo during the upcoming week.
Wendy: Saw the pics you posted of little Joey. What a darling.

Last night: HSTA
Today: PowerMax, Gym Style Biceps and Floor Leg work.

I may be signing up with Ms. Fit and so my workouts may be cahnging significantly. I may be focusing more on muscle gain for the next 6 weeks or so and then muscle sculpting. That means, a lot less cardio than I have been doing and a focus on one body part/day training. I shall keep you posted.
 
Good morning!!

The weekend is finally here, yeah...for some of us...I work weekends..LOL!! I managed to get my butt out of bed this morning and did 25 minutes of HIIT with a 30/30 split on my Elliptical machine.

I am up WAY to early for a Saturday, but I am on my way to work. Hopefully, when I get home I will accomplish the GS all upper body timesaver.

Today was IM 3 w/u & blast only premix, GS Legs (standing), HSC abs & c/d. This evening a run.

Why, oh why, am I up so darn early? I didn't get to bed until after 2:30 and it's 8 a.m. here. Blah.

Tammy - I had a blast, thanks:) I was supposed to be cycling out to my sister's today, which is about 25 km one way. After the 19 km inline skate yesterday, followed by about 2 hours of dancing like a maniac last night, I don't think my legs are going to allow me to do that:p So I'll have to figure out a workout to do later, perhaps one that doesn't involve TOO much legwork. Is there such a thing?;)
 
Hey, and a beautiful Saturday morning to everyone! It is perfect weather here. I will definately be running today!

How was everyone's Friday night? Last night was a Star Wars marathon for me. We saw Revenge of the Sith on Thursday, so spent all day yesterday watching 4, 5, and 6. I am Star Warsed out now!

Good Morning and Happy Weekend to everyone!!

Yesterday was Legs and Shoulders though I could not do the leg segments as my knee started to act up after I went down with the 55lbs...instant pain so had to quit. Just did shoulder segments and calve raises then felt fat the rest of the day! BLAH!!!!

Today was Tri's and Bi's. And I still have to do Core Max #3 later. Going to the Space Museum in Dulles. Hubby suggest we eat pizza later....oh, my! Then off to the Demolition Derby in Page County...YEE HA!!! Hope nobody spits chewing tobacco on me. YUK!:eek:

Good morning!

This morning I did CW step-premix, and SuperSets. I'm thrilled to say that after my 9 weeks of bedrest, I've managed to gradually increase my intensity levels over the past few weeks to the point that I was able to do CW unmodified today. I didn't know if I should expect to see increased conditioning, or whether the growth of the pregnancy would counteract any gains. This was one of those mornings when I thought I had zero energy, yet the minute I started my workout, I suddenly had a ton of it. It feels good!!

Connie - what did you think of CW today?

Emily - when is your birthday? How old are you turning?

Terri - you did ME the day after doing Push/Pull 3 sets?? Oh my!! I've done the Push/Pull 2 sets a few times, and find it really gets in there. Are you able to move your arms today? Can you type?

Angie - if you're cutting out the zillion squats to preserve your knees, does that mean you won't be doing the leg circuit section of BodyMax? That's a challenge for the knees, for sure! At one point I was doing Leaner Legs twice and week, and developed knee pain. Dropping one LL workout a week really helped. I want to get that book! It's quite expensive in hardcover, so I'm going to wait for the paper back version. Let me know how you like it! I think it will provide good motivation for taking good care of your body.

Foodie Sue - so, did you get in a workout yesterday? It's really tough when you're sleep deprived!

Shelley - Yes, I have to ask - why are you up so darn early when you went to bed so darn late?? An easy-on-the-legs workout is CW, IMO. Our SportsChek is advertising the same shoe sale you mentioned. They very sporadically carry Rykas, so I was tempted to stock up with this sale. However, I only want to buy one pair, but they tell me that I will be charged full price for one pair ($129.99)! So, I can get two pairs for $99.99, or one pair for $129.99. Ridiculous.

Missy - my Friday night was really nice, thank you for asking. All of us actually stayed home together and did nothing. It's been a very hectic couple of weeks, so I was very happy to have no plans for the evening. Three SW movies in one day?? Ugh! I couldn't stand to spend that much time in front of the tv, no matter what was on! Did you at least make a game of it? Like every time Darth Vader breathed, you had to pump out 16 bicep curls?

It's the long weekend (Victoria Day) here in Canada, and for once it's not raining!! The Queen is actually in our city this weekend. On Monday there's some kind of public event where she'll be speaking. I was offered free tickets, but passed them up. I don't want to waste my extra day off listening to boring royalty speeches. Is there anyone here who would have gone?

Today I did step jump and pump-fittv version. It seems so SHORT! I floowed it withmy core work. Later I am doing the Gym style cback shoulderd and biceps.

Sandra- yeah that was very challengin do push pull 3sets then the next day doing ME! I felt like my upper body was jello! See above and I have upper body again today:) But I just won the dvd on ebay and really want to do it!

Shelley-I woke up earky today as well. Don't you hate that! I wanted to sleep in. Oh well I got an early start on my workouts.

Denise-Yuk to working weekends! Where do you work that they require that?

Missy- I saw starwars on the giant screen last night and REALLY enjoyed it.

I wonder if we have that shoe store here in denver...I could really use some new ones. Off to google for it :) Everyone have a nice day

Evening all,

Yes, the day is almost over for me. Am waiting for my kids to get home so we can have dinner: homemade minestrone soup plus some onion bread from the baker's (not the supermarket)

Cathy - what is ms fit? Sounds intriguing.
Charlotte - be careful with your knees.
Shelley -, managed to survive the kids, did you?
Carla - you have a great day planned ;-) Fun and workouts.
Missy - before we go see the new star wars, will watch 1 and II first. Just to get back in the story ;-)
Sandra - I'm so not into royalty. I wouldn't give up my day off too. Isn't it great to be doing so well again?

Was up early today, but very lazy, that is I did all sorts of tidying up and stuff while having coffee, breakfast and snack. Then I did CTX Leaner Legs + abs, followed by GS-chest/triceps/shoulders as is. Upped my weights for some of the triceps exercises. And did the close grip bb with 33 pounds for the first time ever. All other exersises are getting easier.

Ms. Fit is Karen Sessions, a female cpmpetitive body builder who has a fitness web site www.theelitephysique.com and does email consultations. From what I gather from her articles, in order to build and sculpt muscle she recommends that you focus first of building muscle (enough food, limited cardio and heavy (emphasis on heavy) weight work focusing on one body part/day and enough rest), then you focus on sculpting muscle, ie losing the fat layer(s) over the muscle you have just built as well as maintaining your muscle. This phase has more cardio in the program. In her e-consultations, you send her your goals and your stats and she will design a workout program and an eating plan.

I did KenpoX, CM3, PUB. I feel very accomplished.

Now I am going out to dinner and dancing!

I am trying to keep up with Shelley here, lol.
I am wearing a mini skirt and a top that shows my arms.
 
Hello all!

Well, at the end of my day, the only thing I've really done is Napmax. I figure after 29 days straight, it won't kill me to have a rest day, especially since yesterday I did so much (MM upper body, 19 km inline skate and at least two hours of HARD dancing - none of this standing there bopping to the music looking cute for me - go hard or go home;) )

My legs are screaming still. Maybe I'll go for a nice walk after dinner with my SO. I'm making him pasta with a spiced basil tomato sauce and roasted portobello mushrooms. Yes, I'm sucking up for coming home so late last night:p
 
Shelley - Glad you had a good time last night! Dinner sounds delicious and a nice walk is all you will need after all that action yesterday! Your legs have got to be jello right now!

Charlotte - I love demolition derbies! They are the BEST redneck activity during the summer fairs in the Midwest. Great fun!

Sandra - I had only done Body Max once before so I forgot that the power circuit portion had so many lunges and squats. I modified a lot and skipped a couple but my knees are still barking at me now!

I took my dogs for a 40 minute walk this morning. Afterwards, I did Body Max without the upper body work, ME upper body split with abs, L&G floorwork, and KM leg conditioning drills. I think I may have overdid (overdone?) it but Saturdays are usually my long workout days. Tomorrow will be an easy cario and Stretch Max.

Tonight is double-date night. My boyfriend and I are going out to dinner, a movie, and a bar with my best friend and her husband. I'm really looking forward to it!
