Hi good morning, today is legs and back and ab ripped P90X.Yesterday I did Yoga P90X and still jumping just for fun of Cristhi Taylor.I had a great time. I love the Cristhi's hi/low.Have a great day everybody.

Hi everyone,
I am finally back. My internet is hooked up and I have phone service. Still no mail service;(
The good news is that I have been still working out at about 75% of what I usually do and now that I have stairs I have been going up about 9-10 flights more/day than I used to. I have lost 1.5 lbs and 1% BF over the last 2.5 weeks ordeal.
My workouts since Sunday:

Sunday: Gym Style Triceps and Floor Leg Work with ankle weights
Monday: PUB Shoulders plus overhead press and band work of GymStyle Shoulders and PowerMax.
Tuesday: Gauntlet.

Not sure what I will do tonight....either GymStyle Chest plus a short cardio or just cardio.

Good work outs ladies!

Today is interval day for me...is Low Max considered an interval work out? I'm thinking it is but I could be wrong. If it is then it's either that or IMAX 2. Probably neither in full though. I don't think I'm ready for that yet so I'll probably do a premix. I also have to do abs today.

So I finally figured out my HRM last night. Says I burned about 500 cals during Circuit Max (40 mins only). Peak HR: 169 Avg HR: 139. I don't think I have my proper RHR though. I didn't realize that you are really supposed to take that before you get up in the morning so I have to re-do that and see if I need to adjust it. I also did Stretch Max last night. Needed that in the WORST way!

Hi Wendy,
Yes Low Max is an interval workout. You just need to make sure that you are reaching your anaerobic heart rate for at least 30s during tbe blasts. Now that you have an HRM you can figure this out. What kind did you get?

Cathy: Welcome back! Congratulations on the body improvements - a nice bonus for all of the angst you have been through.

Wendy: Enjoy your workout. I love both LowMax and IM#2. I am surprised at the puddle of sweat I leave on the floor after LowMax.

Thanks for the info. I got a Timex. It's not the best but I wanted to try it cheap to see if I liked it before I took the plunge for a GOOD one. If I am consistent with using it I will eventually invest in a Polar...:)

You are one of several people here I've heard mention Christi Taylor. I'm wondering if you (or anybody else) has any of her step tapes? I am wanting to add to my step workouts and her name keeps coming up. I like step with good choreography and music.....stuff you don't get bored with quickly. Is she considered advanced??
Would you recommend her, and which step tapes are good??

Good Morning Fit Women,

I don't know if I should stop checking in for the summer??? I don't know what I am doing from one moment until the next...anyhow, I keep changing my workouts and did Legs and Glutes and Low Max back to back yesterday. No DOMS this morning. I am going to keep up these kind of workouts for legs plus biking etc to burn the fat off while eating clean and eating more protein. I like what I see so far as I am starting to progress now so now I want to accelurate the process.

Today is my rest day and tomorrow will be upper body.

Good morning fit ladies....

Yesterday I did IMAX1. It was very intense but my perception is that IMAX3 is harder for me than the other two. Those power scissors and plie jacks in IMAX1 are brutal!!! After I recovered from that, I felt like doing some fun step. I did the warmup, step segment, and stretch off Timesaver #1. It was fun!!! It is taken from the SJP w/o.

Mariangeles - I am with Wendy, I am curious about Christi Taylor. I may have to pick up one of her w/o's to try. Great w/o as usual Mariangeles. How was the yoga w/o? Carole said it was a 90 minute w/o, but she likes it.

Sandra - I see Christi is on your w/o schedule a good bit.... can you suggest a good one to start with. I want it advanced.

Cathy - I'm glad your ordeal is over. You are one dedicated lady to keep up that w/o schedule with all you were having to deal with. Those stairs are going to be a real bonus to your workouts.

Wendy - don't you just love that HRM!!! I have yet to figure my true resting heart rate. I need to do it on a day I'm off (like today) when I get up, but I can't remember. Maybe I'll write a big note and stand it up on my nightstand so I'll see if first thing. When I'm working and the alarm clock goes off, my heart rate shoots right up then, so can't do it on those day. Since I'm off the rest of the week, I'll try that tomorrow. LowMax or IMAX2, either will give you a good w/o. I burn more calories with LowMax. Oh and Wendy... I got my body fat analyzer yesterday and used it for the first time this morning. It is very close to what I was measured at last fall with the calipers. That and my BMI is within normal range, but I still have to melt this "fat pad" off my butt.... maybe I should just point the BFA at my butt!!!:p

Tammy - KickMax.. you don't like it? I love that w/o for some reason. I have a love/hate relationship with it at the end when all those blasts come one right after another!!!

Debbie - have a safe trip to Florida and enjoy your vacation!!

Becky - maybe someone will give us some recommendations on Christi's w/o's.

Charlotte - great w/o... I wasn't sore after PUB/PLB Sunday either. I wonder why? This "eating more thing" is fantastic isn't it. I ate over 2,000 calories yesterday (my big eating day) and I had energy through the roof!! I did 1 1/2 hours of cardio last night.

Hello to all that follow... today I am going to do GS back, shoulders, and biceps and Timesaver #5 which is a warmup and then a w/o with all leg work from Legs&Glutes and SJP, it also has abs from SJP. As an add-on for my leg work, I will try to advance my number of walking lunges... I am up to 115 but haven't done them in a week. I have been slacking on those. I want to get in a CoreMax today too.

Good morning ladies. I'm going to join you all (if you don't mind). I've been having a pretty good week and I think if I stay accountable I"ll be able to keep up with my workouts.

Here's what I did so far this week:

Monday: 20 min on the elliptical, warmup/leg conditioning drills/strech from KickMax
Tuesday: 20 min on the elliptical, 200 wlaking lunges & PUB (pyramid up only)
Wednesday: today I'm taking a 1 mile walk at lunch, going to do the LB premix from MM and a segment from StretchMax.

I am also eating around the same amount of calories. Much easier to stick with right before your TTOM as your naturally more hungry anyways. I just want to stick with it all the time and get my body use to it.

I had S&H shoulders and floor legs of L&G and PSlegs,and coremax 1 for abs. I still fell sluggish from not working out the last two weeks,so I'm only doing one body part a day. I had it scheduled each body part twice a week. Next week I will try to do this. I'm trying not to push myself too hard. And normally I would. Usually stuuuuborn!!!

I am doing floor legs today along with abs. Don't know what ab workout I will do.

It is fun eating that much, I have to admit. I know I've eaten that many calories before when I was not eating clean, but I always felt dreadful afterwards. I feel sooo good after eating that much now. It is all in the ratio. I have figured out I need more carbs than protein, Sarah said I'd figure this out pretty quick on going on how I feel. If I have a protein-heavy breakfast versus more carbs, I feel awful. I keep my ratio at fat 20%, protein 30%, and carbs 50%. This works for me. I am back down to eating as close to 30% calorie deficit for the next three days, that is still 1458 calories, about 350 calories more than I use to consume.
 
Great Job on the workouts, Ladies!

Today was PLB floor and Circuit Max. I don't know if I will do anything tonight. I have tried to the past 2 days, but you can't breathe here. It's so humid.

Does that count extra for me since the heat index is 100 at 4:30 in the morning when I workout!? I am sweating triple what I normally do on a Cathe workout! That's a lot! It's not fair 2 streets up and back from me has power! I think someone is playing a mean, cruel joke on me! LOL}(

Hey Jane,

Just wanted to let you know that I tried that protein shake you posted yesterday and it was delicious girl! Will have another one tonight. I had it in place of wanting to eat sweets at nighttime. It filled me up.
