Good Saturday morning Mariangeles and all that follow...

Instead of upper body/cardio yesterday, I felt like a walk. I power walked for an hour. Today is my rest day but I will probably get some upper body in since DH is baling hay today and I'll be recruited to help after I get off work at 12. I started work at 3:30 this morning, Ugh.... We moved old hay around in the barn yesterday so the new hay can go in the back and I did get in some upper body work doing that. Those dry hay bales are a lot easier to handle that the green ones will be today.

Good morning Mariangeles and Jane,

Last night: LowMax followed by the leg conditioning drills and stretch from KickMax. My legs felt good after that workout.

This morning: Shoulder work (GymStyle Shoulders plus PUB shoulders)
Will be traveling today to see my Mom and sister. Back tomorrow. Have a good holiday weekend. I know a lot of you have cancelled your plans because of the outrageous price of gas.

Yesterday was 1000 walking lunges like a chicken (pictures provided in August file) and KPC and SS earlier in the day.

Today will be PUB, SS (upper body only) and all of Core Max (1, 2 and 3)

Hi good morning Cathy, Jane, Charlotte and everyone who post later.Chest and back and ab ripper P90X are done. Later I will do the TAEBO advanced live series number 2.Today I start the week 11 of P90X doubles rotation. Two weeks more and I will finish my first round of P90X and I will be a P90X graduate.Have a great weekend everyone.

Jane, yesterday I also took a power walk. It was a perfect morning for it and it felt great. Also did PUB.

Charlotte, I love the "chicken lunge" pictures!:D :p
My neighbors would call someone in white coats to come pick me up!;-)

I got my new workouts yesterday, so I am planning on trying out the step one.....haven't even looked at it yet, so I don't know if I'll do a premix or what. Just am excited to have something new from Cathe!!!
I'll tell you all what I did and how I liked it when I'm done.

I am having a rest day too!!! Driving about 3 hours with friends for a 20 mile trail race I am doing tomorrow. Last year I did trip and fall, I didn't get hurt except my pride! I hope to stay upright this time...http://smilies.sofrayt.com/sae/jogging.gif[/img]

Hi Again,

I am checking back in to tell you about the new step tape . I really liked it. I did the 40 minute step and intervals. I did it on an 8" step and added some jumps, and power where they didn't and I was sweating by the end!:p
I also did the stretch #3 with the stability ball. One comment on that, was the music...it sounded like inside a chinese resteraunt and I started craving moo goo gai pan and sesame chicken!!! :9
They are shorter, less intense stretch segments than on Stretchmax, but I expected that.
Probably Cathe wouldn't recommend this, but I didn't preview either dvd and had NO PROBLEMS at all catching right on. The choreography is pretty simple, but still fun. I enjoyed it and am glad I got it. Will use it for "easier days". And I"m still excited about trying the premixes!!

Morning everyone!

It's a gorgeous morning here on the Niagara peninsula! Sunny and not a trace of humidity!

I took a sort of forced rest day yesterday. After being up all night the night before with DD, I had no energy to do anything last night.

Today I'm going to try to squeeze in a 3 mile run and MM.

Last night was C&W in it's entirety. I usually just do the step portion for a quick and fun cardio so with the weight segment in there, it really kicked my butt! This has quickly become one of my favorite workouts!

This morning I went for a 25-minute run, and then did CTX Kickbox (cardio only) and the PUB stability ball segment. I managed to do ALL but the last 4 of the pikes on the ball!! YAAAAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!

I feel SOOO good and now I'm ready to shower and start my day!

This morning I did Body Fusion step-only, Muscle Endurance upper body premix, and the third stretch segment from the new stretch dvd. A very nice workout, indeed!

Becky and Jane - I think it would be spectacular to labour on Labour Day. I'm getting very impatient. However, my actual due date is the 18th, so my impatience may be leading to some intense wishful thinking. These last few weeks are c...r...a...w...l...i...n...g by. Becky, congratulations on your daughter's pregnancy!! Will this be your first grandchild? A happy belated birthday to your son, Jane!

Becky - that moo-goo-gai-pan music is the same music that she uses in the KPC stretch. I like the music on this stretch dvd.

Hilarie - welcome to the daily check-in!

Kali - I haven't played horseshoes since I was a kid. Have fun!

Carole - have a blast on your trail run tomorrow! I hope the weather is good for you.

Very late check in today. This morning was MM upper body premix then SB combo 3 and challenge followed by SJP abs. Yesterday I did the lower body Hardcore Extreme w/o and absolutely loved it. I really like doing the KM challenge in 2 chunks. I'll definitely do this workout again, my legs have been reminding me of the workout ALL DAY!!}(

Annette, dry walling a ceiling, YIKES! My neck aches at the very idea! Take care not to over do it. I feel for you, you've been living with drywall dust for what seems like a very long time from my perspective. Are you almost through?

Sandra, I'm shaking my head in awe of you're workouts this late in your pregnancy, you really are inspiring:) Today I had the pleasure of massaging a woman who is due this Tuesday. She loved it and baby was kicking up a storm throughout, makes me all sentimental about being pregnant and how magical it can be in spite of the inevitable aches and discomfort.:)

It's been a crazy Saturday, so I'm checking in late. I must say, Charlotte's 1,000 lunges have me very impressed! All of you ladies are very inspiring. I was pretty tired after mountain biking yesterday, so today was a somewhat light day:

Muscle Max Lower
CTX Kickbox Cardio and Abs Only
Stretch Max #1 (This made my day!)

I'm taking tomorrow off, so I hope all of you have a wonderful Sunday and I'll check in again on Monday for some more great ideas for workouts.
