I am just jumping back onto the fitness wagon, and have more than 300 workouts, and have many of Cathe's. Just wondering if you think I can do the CTX series? I am doing Firm/circuit type workouts for the next few weeks, and thought I would do a Cathe rotation after and thought about CTX.

I am following Weight Watchers, and looking to lose 70 lbs.

Any thoughts on CTX? If not, any other recommendations? I have the following Cathe workouts:

High Step Circuit
Hight Step Adv
Timesaver
CTX
Push Pull/Supersets
KPC/L&G
Pyramids dvd
PS dvd
Gym Styles (all three)
Butts and Guts
Power Hour
MIS
BodyMax
Step Heat
Step Jam
Power Max
Mega Step Blast
Ab Hits
Muscle Endurance
Cardio & Weights/Imax 2

Seems I am forgetting something!!!

All suggestions are welcomed!!!

Thanks!!!

For getting back into exercise with Cathe, even if you have been using other instructors'workouts, I have always found the following most useful:

Cardio & Weights
PP/SS
the early cardio like Powermax, Step Jam, Step Heat, MSB.

AFter acclimatizing with these, then I would move into the CTX series because even though the CTX cardio is short, it is tough stuff.

C&W and Step Heat are ideal for starting back. ALternate these two cardio workouts with PP and SS for weight trainig and after 2 weeks, you will probably be ready to jump back into CTX. AFter a couple weeks of CTX, the Cathe workout world will probably be your oyster!

I always seem to go back to ctx if I have slagged off or needed to take time off from injury. The cardio and weights are easy to modify. This was my first Cathe purchase a few years ago so maybe I am partial to it. Melissa

You can definitely do CTX. I think it is one of Cathe's easier workouts and most of them are less than 45minutes. It's a good series to build on.

CTX is a good series, and it's the one I go to again and again when coming back from an injury, illness, or any extended time off. It's excellent for getting back into it without overwhelming yourself, but still feeling like you're making progress.

I agree with Clare. I used the Body Blast series (Step, Jump and Pump; Kick, Punch and Crunch; Super Sets; Step Blast; Leg and Glutes; and Push Pull) to get back in shape after slacking off for a long time. I had to modify a lot, but once I conquered those tapes I moved on to CTX. So, Clare's suggestion to do 2 cardio and 2 weight work outs per week for a couple weeks is very wise.

Good luck getting back to exercise!
