CTX?

Hi Everyone -

I was considering purchasing the CTX dvd, but I was wondering what people thought about it. I have heard people say that it is very versital and everyone seems to love Leaner Legs and CTX upper body, but do people still do the cardio portions long term and are they any good? Have people gotten results from it? I don't really want to buy a $90 dvd set just for Leaner Legs unless the rest of the workouts are worth the money too.

Thanks,
Diane

I personally love CTX. It was my first purchase and I still do it all the time. The cardio workouts are great. It is definetly worth it for the upper body workout and the abs also!

Hi there! Yes, it's a great series. I just did a month and got very good results. Best is you will never get more.

If you search on CTX, you will find a lot of recent posts on it.

Enjoy!

I use CTX cardio for days I just don't want to do cardio...i think all of the cardio sessions are under a half hour, and get your heart rate up for sure!

Thanks for your replies. I did a search on CTX and found several postings which all seem to give it rave reviews as well. Now I have something new on my wish list for Christmas!

Thanks,
Diane

I had the same ?. Didn't really want to spend $90 for the set, so I did get Leaner Legs on the clearance VHS. All my other workouts are DVD'S. Glad i got leaner legs. It is a killer:+ workout!

Love, love, love CTX!!! The cardio segments are all killer hard, but mercifully short. The strength or weight segments are challenging, but again short enough! Cathe has varied her cardio with step, hi-lo, kickboxing, and even some AWT. And the music blows me away. (BTW, did I tell y'all I love CTX???) I have the dvd and I'm just starting to customize some of the workouts. I've been doing a cardio, then string several weight segments together, then another cardio, then a stretch. I usually do abs work the day before and after, but that will be changing as I play around with these.

I've been doing these most of October and am trying to tear myself away to start a new rotation for the rest of November or at least by December! So far, I'm loving these too much though!!!!!

I love CTX too. Sometimes if I really want torture I will do two of the cardio sections back to back with an 8" step. Last time I did that I thought there was something wrong me it was so hard!

Ha! Lydia I had the same. I'm doing intensity series now but it is hard for me to get into it.

LOVE CTX :) glad to see so many other folks do too

CTX has six of those little gems where you think, "Eh, this won't be too hard - it's only 1/2 an hour." Then 30 minutes later you're dripping sweat, breathing hard and wondering what the devil you were thinking. If you only have 1/2 an hour and want a good workout - pop any one of these in.

Want a killer workout - do two cardios back to back, or better yet, create a nice little mish mosh of other workouts and this one for a sweatfest.

CTX is so totally versital that I would not consider my collection complete without it.

Hi all

I also have questions on CTX. Someone suggested to do CTX upper body for leaner & more defined arms, but I don't see a CTX upper body section anywhere. Would you tell me which work out it is under? Is there a weight training section in each CTX work out? I checked out the introduction of CTX on the site but I didn't see what I was looking for.

Thanks!

It's perfect if you want to save on time. The cardio portions are very intense. You are definitely getting your money's worth with this series.
