CTX Kickbox!

WOW! I did this tape for the first time yesterday and today I am sooo sore. My biceps are miserable, my sides are sore and my butt is even sore. YEA!! Something must be working. What a great tape. I got through it, but had to modify one little part on the planks where you lay belly up pushing up with your arms. I thought this isn't so bad. HA HA! Cathe says lift one leg off the ground! I did this for a second and had to go back to the regular position. Those are tough. Oh, and then when she has you go back and hover above the ground with your upper body and spread your arms out. Did that for only about 5-6 seconds. This gives me something to work toward.

Sounds like a great workout! Does this mean I need to get all the tapes from the CTX series? I have 3 so far! Hmmm, might as well huh? :)

Yes - you should get the other 3. There isn't a single workout from this series that I don't do on a regular basis. I am doing a PS rotation right now, but I did Power Circuit this morning for the legs and planks. I usually combine the cardio from All Step and Step Intervals on cardio days. 10-10-10 comes in handy when I want an intense workout but I do not have a lot of time, and Kickbox is good for days when I don't want to do step. And of course the best one (IMHO) Leaner Legs. Also, CTX Kickbox (which lots of Catheites find too easy) can be made tougher. Just do ice breakers and sequential power kicks when Cathe does her arm drills. Do jump ropes when she marches and just give every single kick and punch your all. This will work ya! Have fun!
 
CTX is so versatile. I use bits of pieces of the workouts all of the time. For example, I'm in the middle of a PS rotation so I did Step & Intervals monday before PS CST and yesterday was cardio (Rhythmic Step) and I did the abs from CTX Kickbox. Last week I also did Power Circuit and All Step in addition to PS. I highly recommend getting the whole series.
 
Alright! Alright! :) I'm going for it! :) I will get the other three! I am going to be in tape heaven pretty soon. I have the new set coming, Power Circuit is on its way and now I need to scout out the final 3 of the CTX series! :) I should say with all these tapes arriving I should look pretty darn good come spring time! :)

Time to search and make some trades!

Yep, yep! It's a deceptive little devil. I think I'm getting abreak from the toughness of Cardio Kicks, then the next day my arms and butt are screaming! I can't believe the weight work in this tape is BICEPS!!! Who could possibly have the strength to do it?

Just to add that you won't outgrow CTX Kickbox. Try adding 2# Kickbox gloves when your muscles get used to this tape. Wowzers!!! ;-)

This is my favorite aerobic kick box tape. I use it regurlarly
and Im so glad I do, The musics great the vibe from Cathe is off the Hook. No one does it better.
And yes I've had Tae Bo, it's on it's way to my cousin. I dont
Like Tae Bo I like Cathe.
