Does anyone still use their Cross Train Express set. WOndered what you all thought of the intensity.

Thanks

I use power circuit and step and intervals all the time-I love both of these I feel they are intense for the 1/2 hour that they are and I add on other workouts to them at the end.

I personally really like the Power Circuit circuit segments, and the 10-10-10 warm-up, kickbox and hi/lo (the hi/lo segment is 9 minutes of pure pain, so much so that you don't notice it isn't 10 minutes!). Also, the Kickbox core / ab routine, and the All Step and Leaner Legs ab routines are very solid. And the Step Intervals interval segment is a good entree into Cathe's other step interval workouts (i.e. the I-Maxes).

I don't often reach for one of the CTX except Leaner Legs which i think is one of cathes hardest leg routines, (all standing no floor work)But when i do one of the cardio portions i love the intensity and the length of them is perfect to add to the end of one workout to spice it up abit. Hope this is helpful

Thanks for the feedback. It's the only Cathe I haven't done yet and I have a copy ready and waiting :)

Thanks

I just put mine on e-bay. It takes up too much room. I never use the timesaver either. Guess , i will just have to buy new ones when they come out.
The intensity is good. I only have 8X8 room and it drives me crazy trying to modify.

I LOVE CTX!!!

This was the first Cathe series I preordered and I still love doing the cardio when I want something quick and intense. CTX upper body split is tough and Leaner Legs is a classic.

They will have to pry CTX out of my cold hands (or I'm taking it with me). I just love this series. I change up the cardio a bit, but I like the weight work (both as is and the UB split). I would like to have a slow and heavy CTX w/ various cardio styles. I have high hopes for the 4 day split that is coming, maybe then I can let CTX collect a little dust.

Yes, I still use this one..... A Lot,

I love this set. I bought it mostly because I do Cathe's rotations and she uses the CTX series in a lot of them. I love to do the upper body split and I love Leaner legs. Kickbox is a lot of fun. I think it's worth it. :)Especially on those days that I don't have a lot of time to work out, this is perfect.

Liz, you'll love CTX...well, maybe not while you're doing the weights segments. The cardio segments are all great, a lot of fun, lots of variety. I love the music in this series (there's a number during one of the abs routine that is so pretty). And Leaner Legs deserves its other name: Meaner Legs!!! My legs are still complaining two days after doing that one! I love this dvd!!!

Funny you should ask . . .

I haven't pulled this one out in a long time, but I'm coming off a one-month sick leave, and wanted to ease back into working out. Used this is week, and it's perfect! When an hour of cardio seems like too much, this is quick and dirty. I usually tack on a PUB body part each day, so this way I'm working each body part twice weekly. So glad I pulled it off the shelf. I'm really enjoying revisiting it.

I don't use it often, because doing a rotation of it is too much high-impact step (too much high impact AND too much step) for me, but I LOVE the weight workouts. Cathe is very energetic and motivating in this one, but some of the cardio is a space hog unless you modify.
