Morning girls,

We had a fun day at disney - stayed late for the light parade and the fireworks. The fireworks were to music from the movie enchanted and were great! We had booked a hotel and got there around midnight. Well, the bed was ridiculous amounts of uncomfortable, the room really dry, and Ellie was coughing about every 10 minutes. At 3:45 we decided to get up and drive home. We got here around 6 and the girls slept until 8. I got up with them and Ryan's still sleeping. I can't wait until he gets up and I can go back to bed.

Yesterday's WO was supposed to be 4DS BC and KPC drills - I just did the BC. I'm fighting Ellie's cold and downing vitamin C like nobody's business. I refuse to get sick!!! We'll see what kind of WO I get in today. I will do something but it might just be a walk depending on how tired I am.

Katie, your trip thte water park sounds fun! I love water parks! Annabel is a roller coaster trooper too - she did tower of terror with me yesterday!

Kate, ugh, I'm so sad to hear about Gina again. I feel like it's deja vu all over again! Poor thing. 4th grade this year? At least you know, according to her teachers, that she's fine when she gets there! Great job getting a WO in y'day.

Patti, LOVE the rt pics. I'm so jealous! I would LOVE to be tall. I'm 5'3" and my husband is 6'5" - just a few more inches would be nice!

Lisa, your life is always crazy busy. I'm amazed you have time to check in here! Hang in there!!

Robin, I read about all your cals burned at work. That's awesome! My knee is fine, just twisted it during Imax 2 the other day - was fine a couple of hours later. It's just sensitive. LOL on your kids with the calendar!

Colleen, thanks for the PM! I hope you are feeling up to speed soon so you can start insanity. I plan to start mid Aug after all our company is gone and our trips are over!

Klaudia, the diet from oxygen sounds great. I'm sure you'll drop those 4 lbs. I thought your switch from unsure about school starting to being ready was funny. At least your kids like it!

Nina, relax honey! It's ok! I didn't workout for almost a month after we moved. There are just some other things that take priority! Give yourself a break - you'll be fine. How's the weather down there in sunny FL? What part are you in?

Anne, how are you? I had a dream about you the other night. It's weird to have dreams about people you've never met. :) Hope things are going well.

Does anyone know when Cathe will be in Chicago? I would LOVE to go!!! Wishful thinking on my part for sure. What are the odds she'll be there when I'm there?

Angie, I looked at your pictured from Barcelona and wanted you to know that I think you look HAPPY and THIN and FABULOUS in the pictures!

Day off today with my company - need to bake blueberry muffins, work out (lower body), and clean the house in the next hour.... Hmmm.... Better get off the computer!
 
Lisa, My motherhood bows to your motherhood! :p You are CRAZYBUSY! The fact that you got in ANY wo is awesome, let alone a whole 45 minutes! Props to you! Hang in there!!!

Thanks re Gina. She's going into 2nd grade. It's going to be a rough start. I'm still undecided about home schooling. I've been doing some with them in the afternooons and I don't feel like I'm very good at teahing them.:(:(:(:( And Isabel is so social I feel like I would be holding her back. HUGE SIGH!!!! :(:(:(:(:(
I don't think Cathe has set a date for Chi. But I am so there!! Hope you can be there!

klaud, i love the sound of your diet, but i would be hopeless with shakes. just don't like them. my food has been pretty clean lately, but too much with my limited wos. you must be so excited for vacation.

well, yesterday i did awesome with my eats until evening when i had a nut fit - ate wayyyyy too many. at least they are clean i guess. today will be good, though, i can feel it. and, now that my weights are picked up, i can try to do some short ub weights - maybe pub? i'd love to work my muscles.

Nina sorry for the stressed-moving and unpacking. When I moved my kids unpacked their own room. I'm not sure if your kids are old enough to do that.

Angie that' so nice to live about 3 hours away from Disney. I think some of the resorts at Florida's Disney make the bed uncomfortable so that you won't nap...just go out and spend more money.

Katie good luck....you have a busy morning. Have fun with your guest.

Kate back to school is stressful for moms and kids. I hope after a few days Gina will be ok. She made friends last year right?

My w/o will be stair machine 45min and classical stretch.

Morning!

I've been thinking about that diet and I've come to the conclusion I'm going to have to modify-there's no way I can eat eggs every day for two weeks-sometimes twice and have protein shakes 2x's/day. And I need way more fiber than what the diet prescribes-don't want to feel like Kate;) So I'm going to sub some ff Greek yogurt and berries in there and maybe have only one shake/day. Oh, and add almonds-they are huge belly fat reducers! Basically go back to my regulart diet-with less calories and avoid the treats and alcohol til vacation. What do you guys think? Nothing going on today-we have some movies to watch that need to be returned, a trip to the grocery store and allergist and maybe-if the weather holds out-the finale of the summer reading program. It's called Drummunity:) And I have legs and abs on tap.

Angie, what a bummer way to end your vacation:( Hope you get some rest and a workout!

Katie, what lower body workout did you do? I'm thinking Plyo Legs for today:) And I need to make some blueberry muffins too-before they go bad!

Kate, what a dilemma you have with school. I've come to the conclusion I'd be no good as a homeschooler even with a teaching degree-something about teaching my own kids. I hope you can figure something out that'll be good for both girls. I can pick you and Anne up on the way to Chicago! I hope she gets a date soon!

Nina, don't worry about your workouts-think of these next few weeks as active recovery-on many levels:) You'll be in a routine soon enough and rockin' those crazy long runs! I'm very excited for vacation-which is weird cause I'm not usually. I think it's cause I've been "working" this summer and desperately need a break!

Robin, do you work today? I need to get this CS you guys are always doing-I need it bad!

Klaudia I hear ya about the diet. It sounds like a crash diet if there is not a lot of fiber. It sounds like the diet that those lady bodybuilders go on a few week before a show. It will lean you out because of the extreme low carbs BUT...you know what will happen once you go off that diet.

Drummunity is the movie? Sounds funny :D

I work tomorrow and this weekend. I'm trying to get all of my w/o out of the way so that I'll have this weekend off ...from w/o. That' the one thing good about kbells...it's good cardio and weight training. The bad thing about kbells is that it's only a handful of very good workouts.
 
Robin, that's what I'm afraid of! I'd rather just stick to my normal routine and stay away from the stuff that bloats. Plus I have a feeling I'll fail miserably since this is PMS week! No, the movies are Mama Mia and Mad, Hot, Ballroom-Danica's picks:) Drummunity is a drum program where the kids all get to make music or something-good thing it's at a park!

I need to get back into the KB-I love them! I wish we had a kb class closer-they're so fun!
 
Hi Everyone! I did Lo Max this morning and it felt good. Not sure if I start insanity tomorrow. I really want to but I don't know if my body is ready. I'll decide tonight. I have a PT appt. today for my knee. I didn't feel like the last PT was helping me so I am going to the place my last PT told me was the best.

Klaudia, I watched Mama Mia when I was sick. It wasn't as good as I had hoped.
Angie, sorry about the hotel at disney. Hope you get some rest soon.
Kate, good luck getting all of BM2 in today. Good plan to divide it up.
Nina, I am glad you can get away from your boxes. I have always moved and lived with the boxes until they were unpacked.
Robin, good plan to get your workouts done before you have to work. It sounds like work is a workout!
Lisa, you are definitely super mom. I am glad you were able to squeeze everything in.

Robin, Gina does well at school and the teachers have always commented that she has TONS of friends -it's just the initial separation is so hard for her. girl does NOT like change! She is her father's child thru and thru.
I'm still tempted on kettlebells but not sure how to mix them in yet....
You'll be burning lotsa cals hoofin' it around Penny's!:cool:

Morning! I did the original Bootcamp this morning- going to do circuits and whatever else I want for a week or two and then start a heavy lifting rotation. I need bigger muscles!! :eek: Eating went to he** this weekend and yesterday so I am back on track today- no biggie, it was vacation. But still, don't want it to get out of hand.

Nina: So happy you got to FL- I saw a woman on a plane with two young boys by herself and I thought of you. :)

Robin: You gotta LOVE a job that burns that many calories. Woo hoo!

Klaudia: I think your idea for a diet sounds good! I'm clean clean this week so I will join you in staying clean and getting any travel weight OFF!

Colleen: WTG on Low Max- Jeff and I watched the Insanity informercial last week and I think he is semi interested. I hope he'll do it with me- we'll probably both die!

Kate: I love BM2 but at the beginning I always think, oh 90 minutes! Good luck getting it in today. Good idea to break it up.

Change my mind about my w/o. I'm going to do Imax Xtreme 45mins of it and classical stretch. I'm going to keep the weights very lite b/c I did weight work yday.
 
Imax Xtreme was super fun. Even though I have Imax2 and Cardio and Weights...it was still a surprise b/c did not know what was coming next.
I wonder when Cathe will make all of her workouts downloadable...this way we can mix and match...like BM2 mix with LIC. Or maybe she can sell made to order workouts. I guess her plate is too full now to do all of that.
