Here are some other recipes that I have found that I tried and like.
BBQ Turkey Smokey Joes
(Rival's "The New Creative CrockPot")
3 lbs. ground turkey
1 onion finely chopped
1 green pepper, seeded and finely chopped
2 - 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
3/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 Tbs. cider vinegar
1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
1 Tbsp. Worcerstershire sauce
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
10 onion sandwich rolls, split and toasted
Brown the turkey in a skillet and drain the fat. Place in the crockpot slow cooker and add the remaining ingredients. Stir thoroughly. Cover; cook on Low 8 to 10 hours (or on High for 3 to 4 hours). To serve, spoon turkey and sauce over the rolls.
Makes ten servings.
Crockpot Beef Fajitas
6 servings, 6 pts
1 lb flank steak, trimmed and cut into 6 pieces
1 (14.4 oz) can Mexican style stewed tomatoes, drained
1 sweet onion, sliced
1 red and 1 green bell pepper, seeded and sliced
1/2 C canned diced jalapeno peppers
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1/4 tsp salt
6 (10") flour tortillas
1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat taco cheese blend
1) mix the beef, tomatoes, onion, bell peppers, jalapenos, garlic, chili powder,cumin, coriander, and salt in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on HI until beef is tender - 4-5 hours
2) transfer the meat to a cutting board and cool slightly. Shred and return to the tomato sauce.
3) just before serving heat the tortillas according to package instructions. Sprinkle the cheese along the center of the tortillas and then top w/the beef mixture and fold.

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken
INGREDIENTS
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1/3 c fresh lemon juice
- ½ c white wine
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tsp corn starch dissolved in a little bit of water
DIRECTIONS
- In a bowl, mix the oregano, lemon pepper, and salt. Rub the mixture into chicken. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown chicken in butter for 3 to 5 minutes on each side. Place chicken in a slow cooker.
- In the same skillet, mix the water, lemon juice, garlic, and bouillon. Bring the mixture to boil. Pour over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover, and cook on low for 3 hours. Add the parsley to the slow cooker 15 to 30 minutes before the end of the cook time. Remove chicken and thicken the sauce with cornstarch.
- Serve over egg noodles.
