I just finished Jessica's " Total Body Resistance Band workout" =34 min. Thinking about doing JNL Fusion Shoulder Shredder:eek: DH wants to go for a bike ride and a walk later:confused:

Good Morning,

I did Xtrain AOLIH this morning but cut out the core work which I real need to start focusing on. I broke one of my toes yesterday so I stayed down to no risers and was careful with some of the floor work.

Belinda-this is my second round the first was during the time when we were trying to move and stuff so I wasn't very good with it trying to be better this time. I am on week 2 and have only missed 3 workouts.

I will do Stretch, Rest + Relax soon. Need to get my workout in soon, going to DC. The bed from Groupon finally arrived on Friday, that was a headache. They were suppose to deliver the bed 2 weeks ago, but they never showed up I almost canceled the bed, glad I didn't. I love the bed Groupon did give me a gift card after the headache with the delivery company. DH put up the bed yesterday, I helped a little He did most of the work. Today Alesia and I will go to IKEA to look for a night stand + dresser.

Roxie - oh no! Sorry to about the toe:( Can't believe you still working out with a broken toe? Take it easy, ok!

Today I am starting STS M2 W3 with D19 and Jessica "2 in 1 Toning". My PF/heal spur is acting up again? I am not doing any high impact, just don't get it? Need to make an appointment this week.

DD and I found a dresser and a night stand (I bought one night stand, not sure if I need/or fit another one in that room?) It's a small bedroom.

Roxie - sorry about your toe. I can't believe you still working out:eek: it must be painful? Take it easy, girl. I did enjoy the stretch yesterday.

Hello everyone! I am back. I got up this morning and did a simple Cardio Coach workout. I chose #1.

I ordered shoes from Roadrunner.com. These are what I got:

Buy Womens Saucony Kinvara 4 Running Shoe at Road Runner Sports in the purple/citron. I love them. They have little shock absorbers on the bottoms of the shoe and you feel like the shoe is hovering over the treadmill. Very cool. Only thing is they feel a little loose in the heel, but after I started running I didn't notice it much. I hope they will be ok.

I took it easy my first time back in two weeks but I think I did really good with this workout. My muscles need to get used to working out again.

Going for a follow-up eye doctor appointment this morning for my mom. She's claiming she's not seeing very well again. :( I hope they can shed some light on this.

I've been watching the news this morning and I'm sad to hear about the Navy Yard shootings in DC, my hear goes out to those effected and they have my heartfelt prayers.

Done with my workouts. I don't have time for personals, have to get ready for a doctor's appointment. I have 2 this afternoon.

My mom's eye exam went very well. The doctor said her eye is healing really well and said everything she is experiencing now is normal. He said her vision will begin to improve over the next 6 months. Seems a long time to wait, but I'm sure it will be well worth it. She doesn't have to wear the patch at night anymore and he said when she was done with the eye drops he prescribed her she doesn't need to get a new prescription. So all in all, everything went really well.

Today I did the leg premix of STS Total Body. Had an ok workout. I was so tired when I woke up, I really didn't feel like doing it. But once I got started I did ok.

I just finished today's workout and will check in. I just wanted to add that my ankle will let me workout on it ok, but there is a bump and swelling a bit at the injury site, sort of strange, oh well.

Debbie- SO happy to hear that your mom's eye exam went well and the doctor is pleased with how she is healing and doing. That is such a huge blessing. I hope that she will continue this positive momentum of healing and that her vision will improve as the doctor says over the next six months. Yes six months is a long time to wait. I have a medical wait of six months myself before I can get re-examined, re-tested and wait for the results. The waiting is tough and the fear is too but all I can do is keep doing what I am and pray. I will continue to pray for your mom's continued healing and vision improvement. Nice job of getting the workout done even when feeling tired, WTG girlfriend. I saw your pic of your new Saucony's, nice!! Take care and have a fab day and well done on today's workout!:D:cool:

Remember exercise can help to deal with the stress and stuff and feels good when you have a real sweat fest of a workout punching and kicking and just beating up the stress and getting it out of your day. Today I did one of my Cardio Coach mixes. My goal was to make 3 miles but I didn't quite make it. I've been taking sinus meds at night and they knock me out cold. It's been really hard for me to wake up and get moving. So I'm just glad I did what I did. I'm hoping to be able to stop taking those soon, not sure what's got me all congested lately?

I did Xtrain CB&S and those pushups in the warm up hurt my toe so I did knee pushups then I tried to walk on the TM but the toe said I don't think so.

Belinda-hope you get some good news or answers today.

Roxie- Nice job with today's workout of Xtrain CB&S. I know you wanted to walk on the TM but your toe said I don't think so. Its always a good safe bet to listen to your body and honor that. Good move not walking on the TM and I liked how you modified on the pushups and did them on your knees to help your toe out and avoid any pain or discomfort, smart thinking. Nice workout and great job modifying. Take care and I hope your toe gets better ASAP and same goes for the allergies! Sending you healing thoughts and prayers.:);)

Belinda- Awesome workout and I love how you modified to accomodate your heal pain. That's the way to do it work smarter to avoid pain or injury. Good luck on your doctor's appointment later. Take care girlfriend;):)

Debbie- Thanks for your prayers I deeply appreciate them. I'm so happy your mom got a good report on her progress from her eye doctor that did the surgery. Yes, waiting is not fun but I wish her all the best in her healing progress and will continue to pray for her. Sorry to hear your having congestion issues and the cold meds make you groggy the next day so its no wonder its hard to really put in the workout you'd like. Its hard to do anything when you don't feel fully awake. I hope this clears up for you soon. You still got a good workout in despite that, it just shows what kind of workout warrior you really are. No surprise there, our Debbie Rocks!!! Feel better and take care!;):D:cool:

Chris- I hope all is well with you and that your not working too hard and taking care of yourself. I know its natural for a woman to put everyone else first and especially a nurse and your both so you got the double whammy. Get your rest as best you can make time to de-stress with exercise and eat healthy. You are a special person and we want you to take care.;):)

Thanks for the kind sweet words, Nora. :) Yes, things have been better with the kids in school. Of course, we have had *some* drama, but it has improved tremendously.

the weekend we had the boys September birthday party. It was kind of a flop. which kind of depressed me. But that 's a whole nother can of worms! :eek:

Reading over the posts here, sounds like you girls have been getting injured!

Roxie: I had a broken baby toe a few years back and couldn't even bear weight on it!! I can't believe you're doing any cardio! WOW!!!

Nora: Glad you rested and recovered after your injury. And you're back as well! I saw and ordered that new KCM workout!!!! I LOVE TLC, and that one looked like it had a lot of TLC elements in it, as well as the compound moves in between, and I'm very excited to get that one!! I'd have to say KCM is my 2nd favorite after Cathe.

Debbie: Nice to see that your mom is doing well and your legs are recovering as well! Nice job with CC's this week! And congrats on the new shoes!

Belinda: Nice workouts this week! I really killed my foot with PF pain when I ran 2 weeks ago, It's feeling MUCH better now. When it bothers me I wear a night brace I got from Amazon. and after wearing it for a few nights, it helps it feel better. I've been able to do high impact cardio 1-2 times a week without too much pain, but the run was not good. at all!!!!

I've been keeping with the Sept 2013 Rotation so far! Today was Gym Style Legs (switched it up with Monday's , on Monday I did Chest Shoulders Biceps) . Today I did Premix #2 and then did Abs Circuits Pilates Abs.
